Jing Yichen looked at her calmly and killed her last remaining hope. “It is you.”

Having said the words, Jing Yichen stood up and turned to walk away with the black leather briefcase in his hand.
“You can chat first. When you are done, I will speak with Mayor Yu. You know the consequences if you try and run.”
Zhao Anan’s face turned bitter. Being on a blind date with this mayor was a minor matter at the mont. She was only eting him and that too for the first ti rather than marrying him. She could simply tell her grandmother that this man was not fit for her and get over with it.
But becoming the Principal of University of X?
She was definitely not going to be able to run away from this fact when the certificate of employnt had been given to her.
She used to think that it was great that her cousin was capable of doing anything because he could take care of all the trouble she made. With him around, she could live an easy and relaxed life.
But right now, she felt that it was not necessarily a good thing to have such a capable cousin.
Zhao Anan rushed to the door and blocked Jing Yichen’s path. “Bro, my bro! Could you not throw your sister into the fire? I am going to ruin the entire school if I beca the principal. You can’t destroy the future of the nation.”
“A principal only needs to maintain the general situation and be a skilled coordinator. You don’t need to teach anyone, so the students are not your business.”

University of X was a prestigious university in the country. There were several awards the school needed to receive and if one component did not et the standard, the rank would drop, and the recruitnt of the following year would drop as well.
Zhao Anan had been a teacher at University of X earlier. She could beco a professor there because Jing Yichen had helped her at the ti. She had never written any dissertation and wouldn’t have been able to beco a professor without his aid.
And if she ended up ruining University of X, then the students and the parents would bla her.
It was too important a mission for a tiny person like her.
She would never have a free day if she really beca the principal.
“Bro, take away the certificate. I can’t beco the principal!”
“That certificate stays with you. The Education Bureau has approved it and sent it to the school, as well. Even if the certificate is taken away, you are already hired. So you have to take up the position, anyway.”
Jing Yichen had never explained anything to Zhao Anan so patiently, but this made Zhao Anan even more anxious.
“But... but I am not prepared. How will I be able to control such a huge school? Why didn’t you tell
earlier so that I could be prepared ahead of ti? What am I going to say in the speech tomorrow? I can’t think of anything!”
Jing Yichen said neutrally, “Are you so stupid that you can’t even deliver a speech?!”
“Yes, I am stupid, but you can’t kill
for it, bro. I will report you to my sister-in-law if you keep setting
up.”
“Stop yelling. Just go and start working from tomorrow. You will have an assistant who will help you with the work. All you need to do is cooperate.”

“No, he is demoted to the level of a deputy.” Jing Yichen said as he started walking away.
“So I am his leader now?”
Ignoring Zhao Anan, Jing Yichen went and sat down in another elegant room.
Zhao Anan did not mind his attitude, and was starting to get a bit excited. She had disliked Principal Min for a long ti and now it was ti for her to ss with him.
She and Shangguan Ning had been expelled by that old dude and she was definitely going to take revenge now.
