Chapter 380: So You Fancy ?
The following day, Ji Bo and Lan Yu reached the teahouse before ti. This was the sa place where they had held negotiations with Jing Yichen earlier.
Lan Yu barely went outdoors, and even if she did step out, she would choose a dark night. She seed to be in a good mood to be able to drink tea during the dayti today.
However, when Jing Yichen arrived, her smile stiffened.
Yet she was a smart girl who instantly composed her expressions.
Jing Yichen glanced at her and then introduced the n beside him to Ji Bo, calmly.
“Family Ji, this is Mu Qing, our newly-promoted manager of finance departnt. Here is my assistant Zheng Jing. And you know who Tiger is.”
After the introduction, Jing Yichen sat down. Mu Qing and Zheng Jing stretched out their hands to shake hands with Ji Bo. Since Jing Yichen disliked being touched by anyone, he refused to shake hands with anyone.
Ji Bo shook hands with a terrible look on his face when he saw the two people reaching out to him.
Lan Yu, the partner and the fiancée of Ji Bo, also stood up and shook hands with both of them.
Mu Qing didn’t release her hands. Instead, he said in a flirty way, “Oh, Miss, why do I think that I know you from sowhere? Have we t before?”
Lan Yu’s face changed. Soon she turned to Ji Bo like a fragile lady. Tears twinkled in her eyes, making her look pitiful. She looked as if showing to Ji Bo that soone was bullying her.
Ji Bo couldn’t resist getting angry. He got annoyed every ti he t Jing Yichen. It wasn’t a pleasant feeling.
“Watch out Mu Qing. She is my fiancée! You can’t ss around here, this is not your hospital.”
Mu Qing pursed his lips and released the hands unwillingly as he mumbled. “So stingy. I just thought that your fiancée looked like one of my old friends. What is wrong in shaking hands? I am not in love with her. I have a fiancée myself!”
Ji Bo got so annoyed that the veins popped on his forehead. He stood with a straight back and bellowed as he looked at Jing Yichen. “Give
a reasonable explanation, Master Jing! You are here to discuss a confidential collaboration. Why have you brought these two outsiders alongwith? He is a doctor and that one is a policeman. Are you looking down on Family Ji’s Enterprise?”
Ji Bo had t Mu Qing many tis. When his aunt Ji Minyu was suffering from a heart-ache, she had received the treatnt at Family Mu’s hospital. Although Mu Qing was not the doctor in charge, yet he was the director who had taken a look at the forr mayor at that ti. Therefore, Ji Bo knew Mu Qing well.
As for Zheng Jing, Ji Bo and he had been classmates in elentary school all the way to the high school. When Ji Lili was sent to the prison by Jing Yichen, Zheng Jing was in charge of Ji Lili’s case. Ji Bo had bailed Ji Lili out through Zheng Jin as well.
Of course they knew each other!
Jing Yichen did this on purpose.
He was not here for negotiation. He was here to start a war. He had made so many preparations just to cancel the contract which Ji Minjue signed with Jing Yichen a while back but it seed that Jing Yichen had tricked him again.
A similar thing happened with Star dia last year. When they were all prepared to get the paynt from Jingsheng, Jing Yichen rejected the offer in the end. Later, negative news about the actors of Star dia were everywhere in the public because of which the stock price dropped trendously and the company was bought at a very low price by Jingsheng!
Right now, Ji Bo felt the commanding look of a person with a higher calibre, and beca extrely angry.
Apparently, Ji Bo was angry because Mu Qing and Zheng Jing were not the financial elites of Jing Yichen’s team rather than due to the rudeness which Mu Qing had shown towards his fiancée.
Jing Yichen still had no expression on his face as if he had expected all of this to happen.
Both Mu Qing and Zheng Jing burst into laughter at the sa ti.
Jing Yichen was truly evil. Ji Bo had been tricked by him with no way out of the situation.
It was not a business collaboration eting. He was just trying to test Ji Bo’s reaction towards Lan Yu. The fact was that he didn’t care about Lan Yu but about his own company and interest.
Jing Yichen had already set the trap. He was waiting for Ji Bo and Lan Yu to fall into it. Jing Yichen was the one who had written those lines for Mu Qing.
Actually, Mu Qing didn’t know Lan Yu. He didn’t find her familiar either.
Jing Yichen looked nonchalant facing Ji Bo’s irritating interrogation. “Seems that you know them, then everything is much easier. So will be the negotiation.”
Ji Bo got so annoyed that he started to tremble. But he had nowhere to vent the anger.
“Master Jing, you don’t seem to be sincere about our collaboration!”
Jing Yichen threw a look at him and said coldly, “President Ji, you better introduce your partner. You know everyone from my side, but I don’t know yours. It is not as per the rules.”
What did he an by rules?
Did he follow rules when he brought a doctor and a policeman as well as a strong bodyguard when he was here for a high-end negotiation? Jing Yichen must be the only one who had a bodyguard with him when he was at a collaboration eting. He even had a doctor with him today. What a joke! He was definitely distinguished, wasn’t he?
Ji Bo had ignored the most essential matter and was so busy caring about who Mu Qing was.
Jing Yichen definitely had his own purpose in bringing Mu Qing and Zheng Jing here. But making Ji Bo irritated was definitely a good side-effect.
“Master Jing, this is my fiancée. You both t last ti!” Ji Bo sounded unfriendly. He was no longer the gentle Mr. Ji in front of Jing Yichen.
Without changing his face, Jing Yichen said coldly, “I have t way too many people and I don’t rember ordinary faces. Also, my colleagues have never t her before. You say that I have brought soone unrelated but what I see is that, it is you who has brought soone unrelated. We are talking about a confidential deal. Give
a reason that she isn’t a spy!”
Before Ji Bo managed to say anything, Lan Yu smiled and said, “Master Jing, you seem quite interested in . Have you changed your taste and started to like , instead?”
