Chapter 378: Strategy
“Isn’t this too much, Yichen? You are just being paranoid. I am only one-month pregnant. I can’t possibly always remain like this in the future, right?”
Jing Yichen held her hands tightly as he said with a smile, “Don’t worry, I will remove all those dangerous people before you give birth to our child.”
The sea breeze felt cool and moist.
Jing Yichen took off his overcoat and covered Shangguan Ning’s shoulders and took her back ho.
“You and I are going to parents for the first ti. Of course I am worried about you. I wish I could stay by your side 24 hours.”
When he said these words, he looked quite calm. But his grip tightened on her arms.
“But I have to be out tomorrow and the day after. I won’t be around. You can go anywhere you want, but take enough n with you. Don’t worry .”
Shangguan Ning nodded. It felt good to be protected. “I will take good care of myself and our child. Don’t worry.”
After they ca ho, Jing Yichen slipped out of bed quietly after Shangguan Ning fell asleep. He went straight to the study.
Tiger was already waiting for him there.
Jing Yichen asked calmly as he sat in the wooden chair. “Got the man?”
Tiger’s face sunk. “Master, they have people inside. They cause chaos whenever we spot anyone suspicious. Also, they are very cautious. We have also discovered that they are strangers, not locals from A City. They look like spies, otherwise they would not have been following from far in the distance.”
Jing Yichen frowned and said after a while, “Ask Lu to co here right now. She must be by Ning’s side when I am not around.”
Tiger nodded his head. After a mont of hesitation, he said again, “Master, if lady is alone, they might be tempted. What about...”
Before he finished his words, Jing Yichen cut him off instantly, “Nonsense! I will not let Ning be the bait. Let
not hear any more of these foolish ideas which involve Ning.”
He turned serious and cold instantly.
Tiger sweated as he said in sha, “I am sorry! I shouldn’t have thought of this stupid idea. Lady’s safety is the most important thing of all.”
Jing Yichen would never allow Shangguan Ning to do anything risky. He would rather take out those culprits slowly.
“What about Tang Yun? Who is she hanging with recently?”
“She has been in close touch with Second Master. She has been with Ji Bo too. She gets paid by Second Master after you cut off the economic supply to her. Our n were following her discreetly but she spotted us. She looks unard but is more cautious than we thought.”
Jing Yichen nodded. “Continue to monitor her. She can’t be soone from A City. Ask Zheng Jing for help. He might have so clues.”
Only Zheng Jing knew what happened ten years ago. He had investigated Tang Yun back then.
Tang Yun was getting more and more confusing. Her past had been erased thoroughly and she seed to be soone who had popped out of nowhere, totally untraceable.
That was abnormal. It would have required people with enormous power and experience to have done that kind of a job.
Who on earth was Tang Yun?
Jing Yichen was just thinking when he asked about sothing else. “What about Shangguan Rouxue?”
“Shangguan Rouxue has given birth to a baby boy. We have revealed the new address of Xie Zhuojun’s ho to her as per your instructions. She will visit Family Xie in the following two days. Xie Zhuojun doesn’t know that she is still alive, so he already got engaged with a lady from another family in A City. Also, our sources have shown that Xie Zhuojun is not cured yet. He has not stepped outside since he returned ho because he still gets a headache and can’t go out alone.”
“At the hospital, apart from the brain scan, there was a check up done on his sperm count. His body temperature is relatively high and as he gets older, he would have more difficulty to father babies. That is why Family Xie has gotten him engaged again so soon.”
Jing Yichen nodded and then said coldly, “Make Family Xie go bankrupt now. Let them take as much debt as possible before that and make sure they don’t die too easily. They must taste the suffering along with Shangguan Rouxue.”
He was going to take revenge for Shangguan Ning!
Shangguan Ning had a soft heart, so she didn’t want to do anything further to these people. But he was not like that. He was a fierce man who did things without showing any rcy.
“Tell Shangguan Rouxue that Xie Zhuojun is engaged. She will create a ss and will not allow Family Xie to have a peaceful day!”
That was what Tiger was thinking too. After hearing what Jing Yichen said, he showed a co-conspirator’s smile.
He told Jing Yichen about a few more things that had been happening during the past few days. So of them were about the conflicts within different families of Family A whilst so were about the corporate conflicts, such as those in Jingsheng, Liyu Science and Technology, Family Mu’s Hospital and the Family Zhao’s Jewelry which Jing Yichen had just taken over.
He gave another important information about Family Ji’s Enterprise.
“Master, Ji Bo’s shares have increased by 10% during the past three days, now he has got 33% shares in total. His fiancée Lan Yu is the one behind this.”
“Lan Yu barely goes out. She is only served by an old servant. No one else is able to approach her. She lives with Ji Bo and calls him every day, just like any normal couple. But nothing has happened between her and Ji Bo. They are like total strangers. I have checked that she is not from Family yang, but she...”
“No, Tiger.” Jing Yichen cut Tiger off and said in a low voice, “She must be from Family Yang.”
Tiger got startled, but he decided to trust his master.
Master had never made a mistake. If he was positive about her then it must be true, although it was not known how he reached that conclusion.
Lan Yu looked extrely peculiar anyway.
Killing her was the best option. They had killed nurous people and Lan Yu was just going to be one of them.
Jing Yichen was not sure if Lan Yu was from Family Yang, but his instinct told him that she was. That was why he didn’t want Lan Yu to live on, either.
But Lan Yu was Ji Bo’s fiancée, at least in na, and if Family Ji’s prospective daughter-in-law died, then a war would start between Family Jing and Family Ji.
