Chapter 330: The Bossy President Got Selfish (Part One)
The next morning, Zhao Anan’s servant felt better and ca back to work.
The mont she entered the door, she found that apart from Zhao Anan’s sneakers on the shelf, there were five more pairs there. Three of them were n’s shoes.
The servant smiled and went to prepare breakfast.
With six people at ho, she needed to make enough.
Three beautiful couples walked out one after another. But only Shangguan Ning and Jing Yichen had had a good night sleep and looked fresh, the other two couples didn’t look so good.
Especially Mu Qing and Zhao Anan.
That was the first ti for Shangguan Ning to see Mu Qing with a sunken face and the very first ti for her to see Zhao Anan walking behind Mu Qing quietly. This was indeed a rare scene!
She didn’t know what Zhao Anan had done that the good tempered Mu Qing got angry so badly.
Zheng Jing and Zheng Lun were not mad at each other. But they looked unnatural – sothing weird was going on between them.
Shangguan Ning shook her head and threw a look at Jing Yichen. She felt that the way she lived with Jing Yichen was very great. There were troubles in their life too, but at least nothing was stopping them from loving each other.
It was not as happy a ti at breakfast compared to the lunch and dinner of the day before, because Zhao Anan kept gulping down food and Zheng Lun sipped the milk with a flushed face.
Zhao Anan was famished. Mu Qing had gone crazy last night and made love to her throughout the night despite her begging him for rcy. She was both tired and hungry to say anything now.
As for Zheng Lun...
She had seen sothing this morning which she was not supposed to see. She was panicking so much that her heartbeat was galloping.
She was innocent, but not stupid. She had learnt about the physical structure of n and won at school and also got knowledge from the TV and books as well. She knew it all.
But she had never run into such a situation like this morning.
She had seen it and accidentally... touched it. Then her brother had woken up instantly.
She had never seen him flush, but this morning, he did!
Zheng Lun had been embarrassed and found herself in a tricky situation when she saw her brother flush. She suddenly stopped feeling embarrassed and burst into laughter, so that her brother ran off all the way to the bathroom.
The three couples finished the breakfast quietly. Then everyone left apart from Mu Qing.
Jing Yichen held Shangguan Ning’s hands on the way and said to her in a calm and gentle way, “Ning, I think that you are extrely qualified for dia affairs. What about taking that business over? Also, you can take over the real estate business of the enterprise as well. Uncle said that you are good at it.”
Shangguan Ning got slightly startled and asked in bewildernt, “Why? Am I not doing well in the financial departnt? Our enterprise has just started to collaborate with Family Ji’s Enterprise and we have taken in a lot of capital compared to last month. The financial business would be affected if soone else takes over right now. I have been there from the beginning and I am good at it now.”
Jing Yichen shook his head and calmly said, “You are doing well. But I didn’t expect that you could have developed it so fast when I entrusted the work to you, because that has been the weak point of Jingsheng. We have Ji’s help, but they are not helping us, genuinely. Most of the ti, we are on our own. What you have done is beyond my anticipation!”
Jing Yichen was not lying. Work and life were separate. He praised Shangguan Ning for doing the work well, because she really did so. He had entrusted the financial business to her for her to practice her skills.
But she was discreet and capable, diligent and hardworking. She had maintained a good relationship with Family Ji’s team which had been sent to Jingsheng and sotis even treated them to lunch to try and extract business information from them.
Family Ji’s team which had been sent to the company were professionals.
But that team was not fully devoted to the business of Jingsheng.
Ji Bo had done what Jing Yichen expected to see. He was not going to give the best business of Ji’s to Jingsheng for free. If he really had offered the channel to Jingsheng so that Jinsgheng could develop their financial departnt, then even Jing Yichen would have looked down on him. They were competitors, and the business confidential secrets needed to be hidden in whatever manner possible.
So what Jingsheng’s financial team had gotten from them was just so impractical information. Shangguan Ning had been the only person who had managed to extract a few key points.
Despite being a Deputy Director, she worked like an ordinary employee who discussed the problems with the financial team of Ji’s. She asked them if she didn’t understand sothing. At the beginning, the other party didn’t oblige, but later, she did manage to collect useful information.
Soon after that, the entire financial departnt started to imitate her way of badgering, so they got a hold of the information from Ji’s little by little.
Jing Yichen had one hand on the steering wheel and the other held Shangguan Ning’s hand. He smiled and said in composure, “The financial departnt has learnt the right way and they can do it well without you.”
Shangguan Ning pulled her hand from Jing Yichen’s and glared at him as she snapped, “Jing Yichen, are you saying that I can be replaced? Do you want to sleep on the street?”
Jing Yichen shook his head as he grabbed Shangguan Ning’s again and kissed it.
Then he said submissively, “My honorable wife, I didn’t an that. Don’t misinterpret my words. What I an is that you have led the financial departnt well and they can be on their own. You can never be replaced. You are the only one that I can’t live without.”
“As for sleeping on the street... I object! I want my wife, not the street.”
Shangguan Ning glared and said through clenched teeth. “Then tell
why you want
out of the financial departnt?”
