Chapter 140: Driven Away (Part Two)

Tang Yun cried and scread, and refused to board the flight.
She was extrely anxious. She feared that Jing Yichen really would send her back to the USA.
She didn’t want to go back. It had taken her ages to co back to China and she hadn’t even begun to work on her plan. She wanted Jing Yichen all to herself and she was nowhere close to achieving her goal. She mustn’t leave like this.
She knew that if she stood her ground, there was nothing they could do. They wouldn’t dare to pick her up and toss her into the plane, could they?
As long as Jing Yichen was here, she would have to find a way of staying in the city. She didn’t believe that he could be so ruthless so as to let her leave by herself, without caring about what they had shared in the past.
Jing Yichen arrived at the airport soon, but he hadn’t co alone. Beside him, was a drowsy, handso, young man who was still rubbing his eyes.
It was Mu Qing, who was forced to accompany Jing Yichen, this early in the morning.
He rubbed his eyes as he mumbled unhappily. “Honestly, Master Jing, what are we doing here, at the airport, so early in the morning? Do you want
to check on a patient here? Let
tell you, I am good at dicine, but I can’t cure ntal issues. You’d better send the patient to a ntal care facility, as soon as possible.”
When Jing Yichen was on a call in the car, Mu Qing could hear a woman screaming loudly on the other end of the phone. She sounded annoying. This woman seed to be extrely irritating and Mu Qing wished to have nothing to do with the likes of her.
“You don’t need to cure her.” Jing Yichen explained, as they walked towards VIP lounge. “You only need to ensure that she loses consciousness for a short while. I’ll handle the rest.”
“That is easy!” Mu Qing said, glad that he did not have to deal with the woman in question.
As they entered the VIP lounge, Tang Yun ran towards Jing Yichen, her arms outstretched.
Jing Yichen frowned and swiftly dodged her hug.
Tang Yun ended up bumping into Mu Qing instead.
Both of them scread at the sa ti. Mu Qing scread because he felt that he had been taken advantage of, by this deranged woman, whilst Tang Yun scread because she was stung by a row of silver needles, that were concealed in Mu Qing’s palms. She cried out in pain.
This was the first ti that Tang Yun was eting Mu Qing. She didn’t think that he was soone important considering the fact that he looked so ssy and unkempt. She shouted at him, “Are you blind? Can’t you see that you have wounded . Are you crazy? What sort of person carries needles around, in their hand, in this manner? Who do you think you are? A doctor? How stupid of you.”
Mu Qing was no match for Jing Yichen. In fact, he was second only to Jing Yichen, in every aspect. He was extrely smart, handso and one of the most sought after dical experts in A city.
As soon as he saw Tang Yun, and then the expression on Jing Yichen’s face, he understood instantly that this woman was the “patient” he was supposed to manage today.
As he apologized to Tang Yun, multiple tis, he covertly pierced another needle on the back of her hand. She was distracted and paid no attention.
He had been practicing acupuncture for more than a year now and he was getting really good at it. His actions were fast and accurate. A few seconds later, Tang Yun collapsed onto the ground.
Only now did he stop apologising. He rubbed his nose and said with a smile, “You are too ignorant and too arrogant. I am a doctor indeed and now is the ti for
to show you how skilled I am at my job!” Mu Qing said, as he pierced two more needles into Tang Yun’s neck. Tang Yun mumbled uncomfortably.
Although Jing Yichen wanted to send Tang Yun away, he hadn’t planned on making her suffer.
He had brought Tang Yun back to China only because he wanted to protect her. She was not an easy person to be around. Even now, she had been impolite to Mu Qing, but Mu Qing had no choice but to tolerate her for Jing Yichen’s sake.
“Mu Qing, remove the needles.”
As soon as Jing Yichen gave the order, Mu Qing removed the needles.
Tang Yun regained consciousness but she was still low on energy. There was no pain as such but she was unable to get up.
She was in tears. “Yichen, make this man cure
please! I can’t move, I’m petrified”
Jing Yichen gestured to Lee Yong and his n, so that they could help Tang Yun to sit up on the sofa. He said. “Mu Qing is an excellent doctor, and you don’t need to be worried at all. You are in safe hands.You will be fast asleep, within a short period of ti, and when you get back to the USA, you would have recovered completely, after getting all the rest.”
Tang Yun scread aloud, “I am not going back! You understand? You can’t make
go back! You got
here from the USA. How can you send
back again? I want to stay in A City and marry you! Shangguan Ning isn’t the right one for you, I am. Have you forgotten that I saved your life, and I asked for nothing in return, other than your well-being, even at the cost of my own life!”
Tears trickled down her cheeks.
“I almost forgot who I was, in the past few years, but I have never forgotten you, Yichen. I can’t live without you! How could you be so cruel that you would drive
away? If that is what you always wanted, then why did you get
back to China, in the first place? Wouldn’t it have made sense to just let
stay where I was?
“Yichen, I am sorry that I have caused you so much trouble. I will not pick on Shangguan Ning any more. I will be a good friend to her, and that’s a promise. Please, don’t drive
away! I don’t want to live a life without you. I just want to be with you! It is okay if you don’t want
to touch you. It’s alright if you don’t want to be with . All I want is to be able to be around you. To be able to see you. Even if it ans watching you from a distance. Yichen, please let
stay! I will listen to and comply with, all your orders. ”
Standing in the shadow area of a dim light, Jing Yichen’s expressions were a blur for Tang Yun to decipher.
Mu Qing was right there and had listened to everything that Tang Yun had to say. He looked at Yichen, wondering what he would decide on.
This woman in front of him, who addressed Jing Yichen as “Yichen”, must be Tang Yun.
He had never t Tang Yun, nor had he heard Jing Yichen ever ntion her.
He had never ntioned the past to anybody. Nobody knew what had happened that had made Jing Yichen so furious that the entire city the brunt of Jing Yichen’s wrath.
Mu Qing had heard sothing on those lines, from Zheng Jing.
Zheng Jing knew only the synopsis of the entire incident that happened, all those years ago. That was because Zheng Jing’s father was the forr Director of Public Security of A City. But he didn’t disclose too much either. Every ti he would start to provide a few details but would refrain from saying anything more about the topic.
Mu Qing had once thought that Jing Yichen was deeply in love with Tang Yun, but Zheng Jing disagreed. He always said that Jing Yichen was only concerned about Tang Yun, but that did not an that he loved her. Jing Yichen had never been in love and he did not believe in wasting his ti pursuing soone.
When he t Tang Yun today, Mu Qing started to believe Zheng Jing’s version of the story.
It was obvious that Jing Yichen was tolerating Tang Yun. It had to be on account of a particular reason. Had it been anyone other woman, Jing Yichen would’ve simply not bothered, no matter how charming and persistent the woman was.
It was definitely not love.
