Chapter 133: Jing Yiran Sent Present Again

Jing Yiran said sarcastically, “Here, the picture that I just gave you is free of cost. That’s the least I can do, for those who are differently abled. This picture is just one of many, so let
know if you want so more. Just don’t expect it to be free each ti.”
Jing Yiran talked so much that he was getting annoying. Although Xie Zhuojun couldn’t stand this guy any longer, he also couldn’t help looking at the picture, he had just been given.
In the picture, a beautiful woman was sitting on the lap of a slightly overweight man. They both were really into each other, as if discussing sothing very interesting. The woman was smiling happily.
The picture was clicked in the dark or at so place that didn’t have great lighting. It could’ve been a bar or a nightclub.
Xie Zhuojun still recognized the woman in the picture.
His first reaction was that this picture was a fake.
This woman in the picture, sitting on soone else’s lap, couldn’t have been Shangguan Rouxue. This picture must have been photoshopped, for sure.
Xie Zhuojun wondered why this stranger needed to lie to him. He didn’t have any motive to present Xie Zhoujun with an edited picture. Jing Yiran got nothing out of it.
Just the thought of the woman in the picture being Shangguan Rouxue was killing Xie Zhoujun.
He had already received enough fatal blows for today. He was sure he wouldn’t be able to take any more nasty punches that life threw at him. He didn’t want any more proofs of Shangguan Rouxue’s shaful acts of disloyalty.
She was a woman whom he had loved loyally,for four years!
He wished that this had all been a fragnt of his imagination.. a lie.. he wished that soone would co there and tell him that all this was just a nightmare. Sadly, it wasn’t to be and he knew it. This was the truth. Plain, simple and too bitter for him to accept.
Seeing the change in Xie Zhuojun’s expressions because of the picture, Shangguan Rouxue stopped acting like she was hurt. She got up from the floor and decided to take charge of the situation. She grabbed the picture from his hand and had a look at it. She couldn’t believe her eyes.
How did Jing Yiran get hold of this picture?
But that was not important right now. First and foremost, she needed to comfort Xie Zhuojun, who looked as if the ground had been pulled away from under his feet..
“Zhuojun, don’t believe him! This picture is definitely photoshopped. The woman in the picture isn’t !
Zhuojun, please trust . I love only you. How could I ever do sothing like this? Don’t you believe in ? I’m not feeling well. My ankle hurts and my dress is stained. Can you drive
ho now?”
Xie Zhuojun stared at her for a while, in silence, and didn’t look away for a long ti. Shangguan Rouxue felt creeped out. Then he left the banquet hall, without saying a word to her or to anyone else.
Shangguan Rouxue pursued him and intended to catch up with him quickly. She ran out of the hall, holding her gown off the ground, in order to be able to run faster. She mustn’t lose Xie Zhuojun, no matter what.
Shangguan Ning was a bit surprised to see what Jing Yiran was capable of. He had achieved in a few minutes, what she intended to do since she got here. Have Xie Zhoujun and Shangguan Rouxue leave the party.
They had been irritating her ever since she got here.
Shangguan Ning hadn’t found Huang Xinyi even after thoroughly searching through the entire crowd. Nor could Ji Lili, be seen anywhere, even though she was the host of the birthday party,
When Ning was about to check the exit, she noticed that the light on the fourth floor was on as well. There must be soone there too. She was about to go upstairs and have a look when Jing Yiran stopped her.
“My dear beauty, you are not as loved as you think you are, are you? Why does everybody want you dead? One, two, three, four people that I know of, who don’t want you to have a good life. Why don’t you consider being my girlfriend? I am a powerful guy and anyone, except for Jing Yichen, who wants

Shangguan Ning got to the crux of the entire nonsense that he had just spoken. “Which four people are you talking about?”– she asked.
“Aha!” Jing Yiran was surprised. He realised that he had said too much but she had caught on to his words.
“Oh wow!! So you are not only beautiful, but you also have a sharp mind. Not bad. I must say that I am very impressed. Beauty with brains is a lethal and rare combination. Won like you are a challenge to please. That’s what I love. I want to take you to bed but you put up such a fight. Do you know how much it turns
on?”
Shangguan Ning ignored his crap. She asked, “Which four people?!”
Sothing in her heart told her that Ji Lili’s threat had sothing to do with Jing Yiran. Ji Lili knew that by herself, she was no match for Shngguan Ning. Even coupled with Shangguan Rouxue, they weren’t able to cause Shngguan Ning any harm. Threatening Ning by using Huang Xinyi as bait, must have been Jing Yiran’s idea. He definitely knew where Huang Xinyi was.
To Shangguan Ning’s surprise, Jing Yiran answered her question, instead of just ignoring it. “The first person who wishes to see you dead, is soone who cos from Family Ji. I am sure you already know about it. Jesus, she hates you so much that she is after your blood. Honestly, what did you do to annoy that crazy woman?”
“Oh, yes, the second one is that Xue or Xie, who ran after her fiancé just now. You really are outstanding, aren’t you? Even your step sister wants you dead. I really wonder how you managed to survive living with her, for all those years. That girl is so vicious that if you weren’t lucky, she would’ve been killed many tis over, by now.”
“As for the third one, it is your very own cousin, whom you are looking for tonight and whom you have co to rescue. Sigh, I really feel sorry for you. You treat her so nicely and even ca to help her out, even though it was dangerous to your own well being. Let
tell you that she hates you from the bottom of her heart. You are such a smart woman. How co you’re so na??ve when it cos to those who are closest to you? It shouldn’t matter if the person who harms you is your cousin or friend or acquaintance. If this person wants you dead, then you’d better do sothing about it. You shouldn’t risk you own life to save her. Don’t let them be your weakness otherwise the whole world will take advantage of you.”
Hearing Jing Yiran’s words, Shangguan Ning was certain that Huang Xinyi was on the fourth floor of the building.
She was no longer interested in listening to what Jing Yiran had to say. She turned around, opened the door of the banquet hall, walked up the staircase and got to the fourth floor.
“Hey, I’m not done yet. Don’t walk away from . You need to know what you’re doing wrong.”
Seeing her continue to walk away, unhindered by his comnts, Jing Yiran left the banquet hall too.
When he caught up with her, he asked, “Don’t you want to know who the fourth one is?”
Jing Yiran was about to touch her face when Shangguan Ning bit his hand, impulsively, in an effort to stop him from touching her.
Jing Yiran winced in pain. He moved his hand away from her and made no effort to make any physical contact with her, for now. He cursed. “Have you looked at a Chinese calendar? Were you born in a dog year? Always biting people! These ugly scars on my hands are all your handiwork.”
Jing Yiran was aware of the hatred that Shangguan Ning felt towards him. He never showed it but if he said he was unaffected by it, he would be lying.
He took a step forward and stretched his hands to try and grab Shangguan Ning. He wanted to rip off her overcoat.
Shangguan Ning moved away in an instant, so Jing Yiran only managed to get one of her coat buttons.
He was about to try and make a move on her again. In a fit of anger and panic, Shangguan Ning kicked him hard.
Jing Yiran didn’t expect her to be so agile. The kick made him lose his balance and he fell backwards, rolling down the entire flight of stairs.
