"Dr. Claudia."
Leticia carefully knocked on the door, inside was a middle-aged beautiful woman wearing glasses, dressed like a doctor. She looked human, but Leticia knew she wasn’t, because she wore the Transformation Treasure Pearl on her fair chest.
Dr. Claudia glanced up at her, opened the file on the desk, and scanned it, saying, "Routine psychological evaluation, right?"
Leticia nodded cautiously, "Yes."
Each ti during psychological evaluation was when she felt most tense, because she had seen companions being contaminated, a creature called a shadow ghost parasitized him, causing considerable trouble for other team mbers. Although he was eventually rescued, he beca different afterwards, resembling those unsmiling Terra priests.
It’s said that those who beco uncontrollable will have drastic personality changes after being rescued.
All normal.
After receiving the psychologist’s evaluation report, Leticia finally sighed in relief.
They had psychological evaluations every month, continuing for half a year or until the current work ended. Newly promoted Transcendents often had the most frequent evaluations. People tended to avoid psychologists as they seed to have a strange ability to read your mind.
Leticia visibly relaxed after leaving the room and headed to the supermarket on Clock Avenue to buy so daily supplies.
Her monthly salary was about a thousand dinars, or she could ask to exchange for a Soul Stone. If there were extra tasks, the salary would be higher that month. However, few exchanged for Soul Stones, as they were only used on the Casting Path.
Simply too expensive.
Leticia purchased so at. Recently, quite a bit of Northern Highlands-style smoked sausage had arrived, supposedly tasting quite good, she bought so.
When she returned ho, the maid handed her a notice.
Leticia barely recognized the words on it; the content was relatively simple, informing all children over six to be sent to the newly built academy for General Knowledge education. Adult schools were completely free and taught General Knowledge as the main content.
As for the latter part of the notice, she didn’t quite recognize the words, as it ntioned the ’Tower of Knowledge,’ and words like ’Sage,’ ’Circle of the Forest,’ ’Holy Land,’ among others.
Leticia looked sowhat frustrated, feeling she knew too few words.
"As a promoted Transcendent, I should at least master most of the General Knowledge."
It seed that Lord Shawn had a very special status in the Tower of Knowledge. Leticia was not a Caster, so she didn’t know much, but she noticed that recently a lot of scholars from the tower had appeared on the Half-Plane. She occasionally heard a word that seed to translate to ’Spirit Library.’
Inside the room.
She quickly decided to complete the General Knowledge courses as soon as possible.
It’s heard that Transcendents on the Wizard Path learned and mastered knowledge very quickly; they could morize a vast amount with a trick, unlike those on the Warrior Path who had to learn slowly and bit by bit.
Truly envious.
Yet Leticia was just a diocre woman, and she had been promoted to a Transcendent through sheer will, from being a housewife in the slums to a Transcendent on the Warrior Path, so she was very satisfied.
Across the entire Half-Plane, only thirty-five won were selected to be promoted to Transcendent, her selection was not sheer luck.
n are still the main combat force, with only one female Transcendent incorporated into combat teams.
Leticia hoped one day she could pass the combat training assessnt because true warriors on the Warrior Path not only relied on enhanced physical qualities; they possessed incomparable combat skills, unyielding iron will, and battle-hardened experience.
So jokingly called those without real combat experience ’academic warriors,’ which translates to ’silver gun heads.’
