At the foot of the solitary peak.

In a newly constructed, rudintary office hall, Shawn saw the hurried arrival of Succubus-Veronica.

He had just finished placing Observer-Kuladis; this dragon wasn’t very suited to living with humans, so it was better to let it stay with Sealed Object No. 1, the chanical Brain. Perhaps next ti he sees it, it will have beco more docile.

"Master."

Succubus-Veronica whispered, "Last night, quite a few people were involved in theft and robbery; how should we handle this?"

"According to Abyss City’s codex or human kingdom’s laws?"

Theft? Robbery?

Upon hearing this, Shawn’s brows instantly knitted together, and a faint hint of murderous intent surfaced. Wasn’t it just one day’s ti he left to fetch so things from Abyss City, and soone dared to court death on his turf?

Expressionless, he said, "Take to have a look."

Shawn wanted to see who was so audacious, daring to act lawlessly in his Half-Plane.

Five minutes later.

A group of refugees dressed in silk finery was brought in by the Terra Priests, like chicks being carried over. Among them were a couple of Transcendents, but their strength was weak; first or second-level Warlocks could only conjure small spells, while the powerful bloodline Warlocks exploded during the ceremony. Behind them, a group dressed in rags were present, both n and won, but mostly won, so with children in their arms. They dared not lift their heads and prostrated themselves upon entering the hall, their frail figures trembling slightly.

In the last monts of the Ring City disaster, many adult males protected their wives and children and broke through the zombies’ encirclent, so quite a few won survived, with fathers and husbands giving the hope of survival to them.

"Is it them?" Shawn looked down at this group of terrified, kneeling nobles.

Because the Half-Plane had suddenly accepted too many Ring City refugees, all relief supplies were allocated per capita. Adults were treated uniformly, while children received half rations. Since Ring City’s return to normalcy was uncertain, Shawn had to save so supplies, temporarily maintaining a level of bare sustenance for each person. The whole matter was not complicated; these nobly dressed individuals directly robbed the food supplies of the commoners, even injuring several resisting won severely.

"My Lord... it was volunteered by them..."

A middle-aged noble, in his forties, quivered, arguing, "Moreover, they owe us a debt, and the food is rely to repay their past debts..."

Shawn’s cold gaze swept over the people before him, then turned towards the middle-aged woman bleeding from the forehead. She held a three or four-year-old child in her arms, head downcast, silent, and her dull eyes were a bleak grey.

She, not adept at words, didn’t even know how to refute because they were indeed burdened with high-interest loans.

To please the powerful while oppressing the weak.

Human greed was fully revealed at this mont, and Aemon had won once again.

Shawn calmly raised a finger; he did not have the energy to waste on such trivial matters. With a gentle point, the middle-aged noble’s head instantly exploded, like a bursting waterlon, brain matter and blood spattering, causing the other lavishly dressed nobles beside him to scream in terror.

"Execute all of them."

Shawn turned, waved his hand dismissively, "Theft, per Abyss City’s laws, costs a left hand."

"Take them away."

A chorus of desperate wails and pleas arose, which Shawn completely ignored. Turning to Succubus-Veronica, he said, "In tumultuous tis, severe asures must be used."

"Cris beyond robbery, death penalty for all."

"Corpses to be handled by the Prison Warden."

With these words, Shawn paused and solemnly added, "Let everyone else watch the execution."

During rescue, there was no distinction between commoner and noble; all living beings were saved. Shawn anticipated sothing like this would happen but didn’t expect it to occur so quickly. Not all Ring City’s nobles perished; so managed to escape. They were accustod to ordering the commoners around, and once they fled here, they felt entitled to everything the commoners owned. Shawn would not coddle them; from the mont he acquired Aemon’s true na, he was destined to break all existing rules of Bizarre Realm’s order.

No matter their past identity, now they were criminals.

While being dragged outside, a corpulent noble ascended to Transcendent status tried to resist and flee, deciding that since he must die, he might as well escape. He broke free of his restraints, burst through the crowd, but in Shawn’s Half-Plane, there was no escape route. He barely took a few steps before a cloaked grey Dwarf hurled his Warhamr, and with a crisp bang, his head was smashed to pulp.

"Bah."

The grey Dwarf casually walked over, lifted the heavy Warhamr, nudged the headless corpse with his foot, and gestured, "Take the body away."

"Have soone clean this up."

Most Terra Priests recruited in Abyss City were at Extraordinary Level 10 or above, including many High Tier Professionals. They were not legitimate Priests, but they were formidable combatants. Any Transcendent daring to survive in Bizarre Realm would be dead long ago without a couple of tricks. Across the Southern Continent’s thousands of kiloters, Abyss City was the sole supply point, and any adventurer returning alive from expeditions was skilled.
