The Bloody Calamity is evidently more adapted to the twisted laws of the Bizarre Realm than Observer-Kuladis.
For it was born with the professional level of a Giant Dragon, and in battle, the eyes of this Red Dragon would fill with blood, its mouth dripping with hot saliva, and a blood-red sheen covered its scales. This fearso and further strengthened Dragon Mighty led Shawn to deduce its advancent profession as ’Blood Scale Fury.’
——Bloody Calamity-Erinos [Blood Scale Fury][Rebirth Soul](Challenge Level 18)!
This creature might have been a mad dragon in its previous life.
Because its adaptability to the Law is stronger than that of an Observer, under Shawn’s Spiritual Vision, the Red Dragon’s body also casts a slight soul shadow, presenting a writhing mass of blood-red flesh, unlike old pollution, it resembles so power of an Ancient Evil.
Shawn murmured, "Do you know anything else related to the Bloody Calamity?"
Observer-Kuladis pondered for a mont and said, "Master. In my previous life, I was just a small Dragon Observer, and I don’t know much, but I have heard so rumors by chance."
"It would have to be so earth-shattering major events to gather legends and spread beyond the Material Plane."
"The Bloody Calamity doesn’t have a very high Legendary Level."
"When I learned about it, it had already been slain by another Dragon Lord and so powerful figure who had suppressed an Ancient Evil."
Legendary Level?
It seems to be a concept related to Divine Investiture. It’s said that in other Crystal Wall Systems, Ascenders wishing to succeed in Divine Investiture need not only imnse power but also a very high Legendary Level. Legendary Level is akin to one’s own renown, causing others to shudder when they hear your na; from Heaven Mountain to Bator Hell, all beings, including Divine Spirits, will fear your presence.
This way, when you conduct the Ascension Ceremony, others wanting to disrupt it would have to reconsider their position.
If holding an Ascension Ceremony in the Otherworld, the Demon Lords of the Bottomless Abyss will certainly co to disrupt it. Your Legendary Level and fa should at least be able to intimidate those Demon Lords, or you’d better be prepared for a bunch of Demons descending to make trouble during the ceremony.
As if sensing Shawn’s curiosity, Observer-Kuladis said in a low voice, "Does the master need this Knowledge?"
"I can teach you."
Shawn said lightly, "There’s no need for such trouble, just recall it, and I will read it myself."
The mysterious Knowledge in the mind stirred.
In just an instant, Shawn gained the Knowledge (Legendary Level), and the mysterious Knowledge in his mind rapidly evolved. Under the consolidated personal professional template, a row of small runic letters appeared.
——Shawn.
—— Level 5 Arcanist/Level 5 Mind Scholar/Level 10 Arcane Spirit Master.
—— Legendary Level: 3 (Unknown).
—— In the Bizarre Realm, where Wraith Demons roam and Evil Objects are as nurous as dogs, you obviously have no repute. Occasionally, so upper-level entities notice you but do not care; they are more apprehensive of a certain lady behind you. You have a slight Legendary Level, but only spreading among mortals.
Knowledge evolution was not completely finished.
As Shawn frowned, another part of the information began to converge.
——Aemon[True Na Law]
—— King of the Three Paths of Purgatory.
—— Legendary Level: 562.
—— Aemon’s fa is known to all in the Bizarre Realm, and all Demigods fear his presence. As the last surviving Fire Thief, even after sleeping for nearly a millennium, countless creatures still dread him. The existence of the Three Paths of Purgatory will follow him upon knowing his fa, and other Transcendents would tremble upon hearing his na. Even the unnamable ancient entities would hold a trace of fear towards Aemon.
[When Legendary Level coagulates as a Law, your followers will fight alongside you to the world’s end. Legendary Level will attract other followers, and so of it will transform into Leadership.]
No.
Is the difference this vast?
It seems Legendary Level must be gathered through monuntal deeds? Or perhaps by slaying so Legendaries or Demigods?
Wait.
Everything in the Ring City, the deeds of Shawn, wouldn’t have all the Legendary Level gathered under Aemon’s True Na, would it?
Highly likely.
After all, the existence of Shawn is known by extrely few, while Aemon, as the scapegoat, gathered more Legendary Level while bearing the burden.
No wonder Shawn has never been able to quell the forr subordinates of Aemon in Abyss City.
He has no Legendary Level.
He is unknown in the Bizarre Realm, likely only able to intimidate the mutated Lizardn, utterly incapable of suppressing the proud and unruly Purgatory powerhouses. In this world, no matter how strong you are, without standing out, without any recorded achievents, others will not trust or fear your existence.
Legendary Level is forged through slaughter!
Forge a na so renowned that other beings tremble upon hearing it, ensuring your followers possess infinite courage and fighting spirit when they see you. The bottleneck of gathering the Devil Law that Shawn has always faced seems to have loosened. He suddenly realized a point: the Archdukes of Devils in Bator Hell are all ’notorious,’ and the Lord of Hell-Asmodeus is feared and dreaded by countless existences.
If Devils cannot incite fear, can they still be called Devils?
"To master the laws of the Three Paths of Purgatory, one surely needs a sufficiently high Legendary Level."
"Whether Demon or Devil, their renown is created through actual fighting!"
