No wonder the ancient emperors loved to confiscate properties.

Actually, this is quite normal. The old established families of Dusk Town have been conducting their businesses for decades, engaging in every sort of activity from plundering and deception to smuggling and trafficking. They’re not much different from the local gentry of ancient tis.

Shawn is preparing to open a smuggling channel, not toward the Dorne Region, but toward Abyss City, for only there can you find a continuous flow of Extraordinary Relics of dium to low tier.

The breath of the Spirit Realm infiltrates the Realm of Reality; the era of transformation is about to begin.

With resources, even ordinary people can beco Transcendents.

"Population, resources."

"Resources can be figured out, but population can only be obtained from the Realm of Reality, as the population of the Bizarre Realm is truly too low."

Dusk Town is just a small place with tens of thousands of people, not worth consuming too much of Shawn’s energy. The changes he brings are only just beginning, not yet at the mont of full eruption.

A luxurious carriage procession left Dusk Town at noon.

As the carriage passed through the city gate, a mature and seductive noblewoman lifted the curtain and took a look at the crowded notice board. Lady Ivonne, whose husband used to be a skilled tailor before becoming a wealthy cloth rchant. But all of that is in the past now; her husband was sched against and bankrupted to the point of suicide, and she herself also beca a re plaything for others.

This beautiful lady looked down at the demon tattoo hidden on her abdon, her face showing a trace of exhilaration after revenge.

The lord helped her ascend on the Demon Path as a Transcendent, then handed over those who caused her family’s ruin to her for punishnt. No one knows what happened in the room that night, only that the n’s shrill cries never ceased. When the beautiful lady walked out, it was as if she had transford into a blood-soaked Vampire Countess.

"Lord Aemon."

Under the darkness before dawn, Lady Ivonne knelt on one knee, humbly prostrating before the esteed lord.

The lord’s gaze was calm as he watched the bright moon in the sky, quietly waiting for the others to co out. Soon, a pair of enchanting sisters slowly walked out, a cruel smile of revenge curling at the corners of their mouths, and in the elder sister’s palm was the freshly peeled skin of a human face.

The hunchbacked beggar, the la coachman, the fawning servant - one shadow after another erged in the dark.

Shawn watched them calmly, lightly saying, "From today, you are mbers of the Doomsday Circus."

Unfortunately, there’s no clown.

Not everyone can play a clown.

The Doomsday Battle Group under Aemon was once again being reassembled, but this ti, the candidates were personally chosen by Shawn. So of them might survive till the end, and if they fail to ascend, their titles will be passed on.

"What’s written there?"

A trader’s inquiry snapped Ivonne back from her drifting thoughts.

She settled back into her seat, smiling as she gently stroked the sleepy little girl beside her, in her hand a peculiar piece of leather, showing so strange tissues, which she was slowly stitching into a piece of leather armor.

"The town hall seems ready to increase investnt in education, at least they’re doing sothing right."

A middle-aged man wearing glasses replied, "They plan to rebuild a school beside the lake in the villa district."

Spread knowledge.

Starting with mortals, Shawn did not undertake sweeping reforms in Dusk Town; he rely allocated so of the town’s expenditures to the education of ordinary people. If it were a ti of peace, Shawn might hope to complete the consolidation of the Knowledge Law through literacy for all, but clearly, he did not have that much ti now; that would be a project taking decades. But lack of ti didn’t an it couldn’t be done; even a bit of change was worthwhile.

"Mom." The little girl curled up, leaning into her mother’s arms.

The recent experiences seed like a nightmare to her, as a strange gleam condensed in her sleepy eyes.

Lady Ivonne tenderly stroked her daughter’s back, gently saying, "Sleep."

"Everything is over."

The convoy soon continued on its way, the la coachman swinging his whip, whispering a few words to the horses pulling the carriage, and soon the group passed through the dilapidated city gate bathed in sunlight.

Shawn planted seeds here; what kind of growth they’ll see will have to be left to ti.

However, he did give the common people ’guns.’

.........

Ring City.

This is the most populous large city in the Dagon Region, with nearly a million residents, but it differs from Dorne City in that even from afar, you can sll a stench of feces. The rivers surrounding the city are filled with filth and garbage, forcing the city’s residents to find alternative ans of obtaining drinking water. The overpopulation and severe environntal pollution, coupled with the lack of supporting public infrastructure, have allowed countless dark corners to flourish under the towering city walls of Ring City.

In the morning, the air here is filled with the sll of urine, as residents directly pour chamber pots from upstairs into the streets and alleys.

Shawn wandered through the bustling crowd.

From the mont he entered this city, his brows furrowed tightly, as if he had entered a cesspool. The entire city seed like a giant open-air latrine, yet everyone living here seed used to it.
