A group of figures in black robes were skimming over the frozen lake surface. Leading them was a transcendent with a handso face and a tall, upright stature, resembling a respectable gentleman. He held a non-ticking silver pocket watch, his expression calm and steady, exuding a sense of reliability just by standing there.
"Captain."
A slender figure sprinted from a distance, gliding steadily on the thick ice for dozens of ters before landing in front of the handso man. Her voice was slightly hoarse as she said, "There’s no sign of that dragon!"
"Could it have flown sowhere else?"

Ti rewinds to a day earlier.
After Aemon opened the Law of the path, linking the space leading to other cosmos, an unexpected space turbulence synchronized the Teleportation Gate pointing to the Bottomless Abyss with a Crystal Wall System Universe. Then, Benjamin’s team, hunting evil objects, on their way back to Changyuan, saw countless teors streaking across the sky. Amid the dazzling glow of those teors, they saw a giant dragon’s silhouette.
Not a subspecies flying dragon from the Bizarre Realm, but a true giant dragon with golden shimring scales. As it streaked across the sky, its unfolded dragon wings seed to have been torn partly by so monster.
"A golden dragon!"
This discovery instantly alard others in Changyuan, and Benjamin’s team imdiately received the task to search for traces of this golden dragon.
Half a day passed quickly.
Benjamin and his party had already ventured deep into the snow-covered mountains. They encountered Ice Crystal Spiders with more than a dozen compound eyes; after forcibly traversing an area where the Ancient Race was active, the high tier ranger in the team suddenly crouched, observed the traces on the ground, and said in a deep voice, "There are signs of human activity here."
Benjamin gestured to the others beside him, and the whole team imdiately began to spread out, while he himself quietly approached the canyon ahead.
He saw creatures torn like jagged spiders; they were otherworldly aberrations from the Star Realm, and at the end of his vision, a graceful and massive creature lay panting on the ground. Its golden scales shimred under the light. In the area of its abdon and dragon wings, the flowing blood was filthy, bursting like sores with a stench of pus.
What surprised Benjamin imnsely was that beside this golden dragon, there was also a humanoid creature, with pointed ears, watching him warily at the mont.
"Friend."

This weakness in magical power might have sothing to do with the deities of Klein Celestial Universe. A viewpoint from the Forgotten Realm is that the deities of Klein Celestial Universe will ’banish’ overly powerful mages to the Ferren Plane.
But there are many dragons there, after all, it’s called the Dragonlance Realm, where nurous giant dragons frequently appear in historical major events.
Benjamin curiously observed the injured golden dragon in the distance. This was the first ti he had ever seen a real giant dragon, and he said softly, "It’s very dangerous here."
