"What happened?"
"Did the slaves rebel?"
A piercing cry spread through the mind, and five or six creatures crawled out of the darkness, resembling spiders but with extrely slender necks, bald heads, and dull yellow eyes devoid of emotion. Their bizarre forms moved while casting mind spells, ready to re-enslave these deford cave dwellers.
Nugi Monsters.
These eerie creatures have a very unique appearance and are slave rchants among the monsters, naturally adept at enslaving other species.
As they approach, they summon the guards of the underground city—a group of bizarre, deford beings—and among the crowd, you can see towering Minotaurs, creatures only found in the Underworld, rarely seen on the surface.
Target locked.
—Spell Order (Fireball Technique, Fireball Technique, Fireball Technique)!
This is a pre-prepared spell; a small spell orderer can store two Tier One spells to be cast simultaneously, while a spell order can store three spells below Tier Four, releasing them all at once.
The commonly used combat thod is to store three Skeleton Traps, three Flaming Arrows, or three Fireball Techniques simultaneously for explosive output.
To ensure no survivors at the city gate, Shawn also used the Fireball Technique to detonate the alchemy explosives of Hellfire.
Boom!
The entire city gate of the underground city collapsed.
In the blasting firelight, there were no survivors within the casting range; whether low-tier monsters or high-tier extraordinary beings, all were blown to pieces by Shawn.
"Very good."
"The first phase of combat testing is complete."
"Prepare to retreat."
Shawn estimated his mana pool; about one-third of the primitive magic power remained, while the spiritual energy pool had been less consud, leaving more than half.
But since the first phase of combat testing was completed, he found no need to linger any longer.
—Dinsional Jump.
Shawn’s figure flashed directly a few dozen ters, disappearing into a dark passage.
—Grease the soles.
The enemy was weaker than expected; it had been ten minutes since the attack began without a reaction, so there was no need to use a higher ring acceleration skill.
"Lock on the teleportation waypoint."
"Prepare to teleport."
Knowledge in Shawn’s brain began to operate, and the next second, he disappeared in the teleportation spiritual light, appearing near the initial cliff.
"Then, next is rest."
—Mage Mansion Technique (7 Ring Spell)!
Shawn cast a spell to tear open the otherdinsional space, accompanied by a faint light gate floating, and an opened dinsional mansion appeared before him.
"Master!"
A row of invisible servants stood at the mansion door, bowing respectfully: "Welco back."
This is a magnificent mage mansion, with architectural styles sowhat reminiscent of the Roman Imperial Palace—grand and majestic. At the entrance, stood a row of invisible servants, capable of summoning up to 30, but Shawn summoned only 12. Opposite the main entrance is a long dining table laden with food and wine, while rooms on either side include the main bedroom, secondary bedroom, and storage room, accommodating up to 12 people for luxurious als and rest.
Beyond that requires extra paynt, which Shawn couldn’t afford.
Inside the mage mansion, there’s a small magic hot spring, allowing for relaxation with a bath during rest.
After Shawn entered the mage mansion, the teleportation entrance imdiately disappeared into invisibility.
Unless another caster had much greater power and knowledge, cracking Shawn’s teleportation mark to locate the mansion entrance was unlikely.
With Shawn’s Earth-transford mysterious knowledge, even legendary level casters couldn’t find his teleportation entrance.
It would likely require a demigod level enemy.
"Change clothes."
"Prepare dinner; I want to take a bath."
Shawn calmly set down his magic staff and extended his arms, soon attended by transparent servants who changed his clothes.
Fine wine, gourt als, and steam rising from the magic hot spring.
Shawn used a silver tray to hold the Half-Elf roasted delicacies, took a sip of wine in a crystal goblet, and lazily soaked in the magic hot spring, murmuring: "This is the true life of a mage!"
He was nearly bankrupt creating the mage mansion by opening the otherdinsional space.
Now, he truly had nothing left.
A night’s sleep.
Full recovery after eight hours, then continue consuming the living forces of the extraordinary monster underground city.
It’s only the first day; no need to rush.
He hadn’t yet ascended to high-tier caster status; this action was rely a trial, a practice of sorts—take it slow.
Lurking here should be a legendary-level evil object, not difficult to kill; first, clear out small monsters.
Shawn hadn’t used much force today, mainly catching the enemy off guard as a warm-up; he hadn’t even strengthened himself with a triple protection field.
Facing legendary enemies again, his heart was calm and unperturbed.
The current act of killing pseudo-legendary enemies was as simple as slaughtering chickens or dogs, while the others were re pawns begging for a price!
If a mage couldn’t slay legendary monsters across levels, they’d be embarrassed to greet peers!
Killing legendary enemies weren’t standard practice for a mage; it was the bare minimum.
After all, the existence of the mage, only killing gods for proof is aningful.
Mage.
Among all extraordinary paths, only one profession is called ’Mage.’
anwhile.
In a gray rock palace within the underground city, a humanoid monster with flesh that seed to squirm let out a roar of enraged fury!
"Useless!"
"All of you are utterly useless!"
"Dozens of guards are dead, and not one of you clearly saw the enemy?"
This self-proclaid ’Lord of the Underworld,’ an evil object transford into a cold, dark elf form, yelled at the trembling extraordinary beings below: "Find them! Go find them for !"
"Even if you have to dig three feet into the ground, find the enemy for !"
