This spell functioned like a sensing device: as soon as any living creature triggered it, Shawn would receive a Mind Sensing alert.
He arrived a bit early.
This Night Witch rchant had an appointnt with Shawn three days later, but it was only the second day now, and he had already crept near the Eye Demon Nest.
Not far from the Night Witch, there was a hunched, peculiar shadowy figure.
It moved silently, the whole figure blending into the Shadow, with mbranes extending from the arched back like wings, using the power of the Shadow Sequence to completely conceal its presence, it stealthily approached from the other side of the Eye Demon Nest.
A creature from the Wandering Path, its exact nature was uncertain, but it seed like a hybrid of an aberration and an Evil Demon.
"He probably hasn’t noticed us." A ntal whisper sounded by the Night Witch’s ear.
A wrinkled human face appeared on the chest of the Night Witch, like so Sealed Object parasitically living on a human body, possessing a certain self-consciousness.
The Night Witch nodded slightly and said, "If he finds out, I will talk and distract his attention."
"Seize the opportunity for a sneak attack, don’t give him ti for Casting."
A prepared Wizard is extrely terrifying!
You can ambush and kill a Wizard, but if you agreed to a duel with one, you’d definitely die a horrible death.

The enemy looked extrely disgusting, with bizarre compound eyes, deford limbs, and sharp black claws. It moved silently and its fly-like wings might possess so flying ability, or at least assist in short-range leaps.
In appearance, the creature was sowhat indescribable, possibly possessing the bloodline of the Ancient Race, enough to corrupt others’ minds.
Previously, seeing its true form, Shawn might have been sowhat affected.
But now when Shawn saw it, a single evaluation appeared in his mind: "The little thing looks rather unique!"
Shawn calculated the distance and began repositioning himself.
The Shadow Servant quietly stood by the Explosive Trap. It was mindless, a summoning from the Spirit Realm, considered a reflection of a soul, which could automatically revive in the Spirit Realm upon death.

Shawn’s eyes narrowed slightly as he deduced the movents of the two enemies; three Invisible Hands extended outward. The enemies were all strong, and creatures that ca out at night were much more troubleso than those during the day.

Today, the consumption of Primitive Magic Power was significant. Although there was a short rest earlier, he hadn’t recovered much, so the upcoming battle would mainly rely on Spiritual Energy and firearms.
Shawn quickly simulated tactics in his mind.

Not far away, Screar - Bader had already seen the Eye Demon Cave ahead. He cast a spell to Summon a Spiritual Body, cautiously approaching while taking out a strange black stone.
This was a Thunderous Burst Stone.
A product of the Alchemy Path, it was popular in other Planes, having great power and could even deal certain damage to Spiritual Entities.
Boom!
But what greeted him was a violent explosion. This Night Witch moved toward the main entrance, right on the path of the Explosive Trap Shawn had set. After calculating the explosion’s range, Shawn commanded the Invisible Servant to stand on the Explosive Trap.
With a muffled explosion, blue flas surged in all directions.
Screar - Bader’s body was instantly blown to pieces, with severed arms and legs flying ters away. This imnse power shocked even Shawn, who couldn’t help but ntally praise the Fire Burning Demon of Abyss City.
The money was well spent!
As if in a chain reaction, the Thunderous Burst Stone in Screar - Bader’s hand also exploded, reducing him to dust on the spot.
Yet at this mont, sothing bizarre happened.
A solid mass of black mist erged amid the exploding flas, revealing an old human face. Then, the squirming black mist forced out another head, showing Screar - Bader’s ghastly face.
