This layer of the tower has a total of six rooms.
Three bedrooms, one study, one storage room, and one laboratory.
The outermost door is opened by a Secret Technique Seal, leading inside to a corridor that goes to different rooms. The master bedroom has been cleaned up; you can barely see any personal items. The two secondary bedrooms are slightly smaller and should be the residence for apprentices, assistants, and servants. Mages of Abyss City also take on disciples to serve them. A normal Wizard Apprentice relationship is similar to a ntor leading a graduate student, where the apprentice is like a half-worker. Lady Hecate’s relationship with Shawn is a special example.
The study is full of research notes and Magic Books, which haven’t been cleaned for so ti, and are covered in dust.

The table in the study has a thick layer of dust, showing it has been vacant for over a year. The bookshelves have been protected by Secret Technique Seals, preserving all the notes and books intact, which can remain undamaged by external forces for decades.
The left side contains research notes, mainly on Mind Path and quirky species research records, while the right side holds Magic Books focused on Force Field, Domination, Spell, and more.

Many Wizards of the Bizarre Realm are pragmatists.
You can see it from the book titles they compile; these Magic Books contain nothing flashy, just solid content, and they don’t even bother to think up complex book titles. Whatever is recorded is exactly what the book title is.

Shawn casually flipped through a bit and was able to confirm that the original mage had strong combat power. Wizards surviving in the Bizarre Realm are basically combat-focused, while academy-style casters only exist within the real world.

Shawn closed the research note in his hand, realizing the study room’s collection of books is astonishingly valuable. If he can master them, they will greatly enhance his mastery of Force Field System spells.
The laboratory basically has nothing left, only a set of alchemy tools that are seventy percent new.
It seems this place has been scavenged before, so any good thing wouldn’t have been left for Shawn. The entire six layers of the tower have been abandoned for so ti now, and the traces left by the previous owner have been cleared out. The laboratory contains so bizarre organic organs, identifiable ones are tendrils, eye stalks, jointed limbs, and such.
"Did the original owner die in battle? Or did he lose control?" Shawn murmured.

Shawn casually picked up a Magic Book, and with the flowing knowledge, Reading Magic was triggered. The knowledge was forcefully morized and stored into his brain.
The contents recorded here are Casting Combat Skills, mainly focused on Force Field Spells; so are quite profound and Shawn is unable to fully digest them in a short ti.
Unsure how much ti has passed.
Shawn was awakened by a knocking sound, and when he opened the door, a glamorous Banshee Maiden stood outside. She bowed respectfully, saying, "Mister Shawn."
"Aemon has been waiting for you."
Shawn nodded silently and said, "Understood."
He turned back into the room to pack his belongings and put the Clay Golem into standby mode, then followed the Banshee before him out of the tower, heading toward the most prominent majestic palace in Abyss City.
On the way, Shawn’s tense mood gradually cald down.
Once the bow is drawn, there’s no turning back; since he’s chosen to accept Aemon’s arrangent, he can only brace himself and move forward.

The advancent route Aemon has prepared for him; Shawn is very clear, the risk of losing control can be said to be extrely high.
Inside the majestic palace.
As Shawn’s figure enters, shadows begin to move in the darkness. Demon Wizards enter the tower, Evil Mages unveil the barrier that shrouds the entire Abyss City, and dozens of powerful casters each stand by, entering the top of the tower, rging their Mana Pools with the vast Earth Vein Energy of Abyss City.

A vast energy enshrouds the entire Abyss City, creating an invisible curtain that veils everything here. It feels like shadows envelop the entire world, the sky above Abyss City turning pitch black, isolated from the Material Plane of the Bizarre Realm, appearing to be in a different space entirely.
Buzz!
A surging torrent of energy sweeps across the earth, and in the Magic District of Abyss City, at the tops of the towers, a deep purple dazzling light shines like purple beams rising to the sky, instantly alerting other powerful Transcendents within the city.
On the rooftop of Purgatory Fire Horn, Succubus - Veronica lifts her head in surprise towards the sky, murmuring, "What’s going on?"
"Are the Old Day’s Offspring wildly invading?"
"Abyss City hasn’t fully activated the Maze Lock Array for many years!"
The energy of each Wizard Tower connected together, Abyss City begins to disappear from the material level, the whole city moving across planes, retreating into the spatial layer where the Shadow Plane resides. The outer space of Abyss City seems to be severed, creating a sense of spatial disconnection, gradually separating from everything of the Material Plane.
