The entire battle was resolved in three minutes.

Within just one day, Shawn found it much easier to deal with these enemies.

"After using Entanglent Technique to trap the enemies, my shooting accuracy improved significantly," Shawn thought to himself.

This is the difference between a stationary target and a moving one.

Shawn quickly gathered the spoils, then hid once more in the vicinity, preparing for an ambush, as there might be more enemies coming.

Exactly!

Not long after, disturbances from afar indicated that so Lizardn heard the gunshots and ca to assist.

——Entanglent Technique!

Ta-ta-ta.

Sa formula, sa brilliant results. Shawn only needed to maintain his Invisible State; as soon as the enemy showed themselves, he would use Entanglent Technique to trap them, followed by a barrage of bullets that mostly left them dead.

"At this rate, as long as no one is left alive, I’ll soon gather enough Extraordinary Relics for Low Ring spells."

Killing everyone is the perfect stealth for Shawn.

The Lizardn didn’t understand the enemy’s situation and dared not act recklessly. After eliminating two patrol teams, Shawn soon discovered that the entire periphery of the Black Forest showed no sign of their activity.

"Have they contracted their territory?"

Shawn wandered around the forest’s outer edge and indeed found that the enemies had contracted their territory; those Lizardn wouldn’t co out anymore. Going further in leads to their tribal settlent, which Shawn dared not enter. After all, they used to be a wise race, but Shawn only gained from two waves and received no further yield.

He even discovered traces of powerful Casters – the enemy Caster was using so ans to scout the vicinity.

"I must retreat!"

Shawn decisively moved to another location, firing once, then changing spots. Staying longer would spell trouble.

The Invisibility Technique was extrely useful.

If Shawn didn’t have the Invisibility Technique, he wouldn’t be able to evade the Lizardn’s detection. This ti he gleaned five or six Extraordinary Relics, mostly consisting of the Lizardn’s racial abilities, and most could be extracted to produce corresponding spells.

——Endure Environnt, Fog Concealnt Technique, Hypnosis, Charm Humans, Silent Illusion, Demonized Weapon.

The proportion of Casters among the Lizardn seed particularly high. Although most mastered 0-ring and 1-ring spells, the drop rate was surprisingly high. They felt a bit like Warlock bloodline inheritance since only Warlocks naturally carry various spells, whereas Wizards learn them later on. Races other than humans mostly have Warlock traits.

"The bloodline of a Demigod?"

"These non-human races seem to all have a bit of Divine Spirit bloodline."

Warlocks ascended more easily than Wizards, as they inherently possessed spell abilities and could comprehend and master them when the ti arose; Wizards needed to plunder and steal from the external world. Warlocks were essentially born Transcendents. Using the Lizardn as an example, they naturally carried Extraordinary Essence and awakened talents over ti, unlike Shawn, who had to steal Primitive Magic Power knowledge.

However, Warlocks had very few innate spells, and rging with other Relics caused great pollution.

These two Casting Paths were not very different; one relied on bloodline, the other on oneself. Naturally, those with bloodline talents found it much easier but had less potential than Wizards, and their abilities weren’t as comprehensive and flexible.

Knowledge was restless.

Before nightfall, Shawn returned to the Eye Demon Nest, where neither Lizardn nor other enemies would easily leave their territory at night, and Shawn himself needed to find a place to hide.

——Magic Alert.

That night was much easier for Shawn to manage; with the Magic Alert in place, he could set caution traps in advance.

After digesting such a vast amount of Extraordinary Knowledge, Shawn felt sothing different, akin to a transformation from quantity to quality. For the first ti, he sensed truly living [Knowledge].

"Master!"

"The gate to Knowledge has opened!" Knowledge was speaking.

In Shawn’s brain, all the knowledge ca alive, flowing within his mind. Bits of silvery light began to appear, and the active Mystical Knowledge started modifying Shawn’s brain structure.

This was real! Not an illusion of Shawn’s!

Countless Mystical Knowledge secreted a peculiar silvery liquid, which Shawn could not comprehend. It was a non-physical silvery liquid, applied to Shawn’s brain, with the knowledge diving in and out of his mind, not sparing even the brain’s gray matter, starting from the left brain to the right brain, finally enveloping the entire brain in the silvery liquid.

——[Knowledge] Sequence!

At the mont when the ascension was completed, Shawn’s brain seed to have been coated with ’engine oil’ by the Mystical Knowledge, roaring and surging like a motor filled with power, a computer device running, instantaneously upgrading the entire brain from software to hardware with ’Knowledge’.

Shawn tried to use Spiritual Vision to glimpse into his own brain.

"He saw a brain structure emitting a faint silvery glow!..."

The whole body was trembling.

Shawn sensed madness growing, and alongside it, his Magic Power surged!

So mystical knowledge was translating into content he could comprehend.

——"Knowledge Sequence (Twisted): Ascension conditions include mastering extensive Extraordinary Knowledge and Mystical Knowledge, controlling over thirty spells, personal madness must not drop below the threshold of temporary madness, Knowledge must be activated with the ability to speak, and Knowledge might beco a potential Personality Fragnt." (Embrace madness, embrace knowledge.)

[Only a Legendary destiny can twist, transforming the mad Knowledge Sequence into the Knowledge Domain.]
