Splurt!
A head flew up, blood gushed forth, and the High Tier Ranger Path Death Pilgrim was left with only a headless corpse slowly falling from the top of the clock tower.
An assassin!
The opponent’s ambush technique was sowhat similar to that of the Lady of the House, but even more eerie and ruthless!
"No!" Benjamin’s angry roar echoed.
Tick-tock! Tick-tock!
In the sound of the clock’s ticking, Benjamin’s silhouette vanished like a slide, leaving Shawn still uncertain about what Benjamin’s Holy Relic was. However, with so many experiences, he mostly guessed a bit of it.
Its ability is sowhat like the Wizard’s 9-ring spell ’Ti Freeze.’
Because when Benjamin activates it, he seems to not be in the sa ti frequency as Shawn.
However, the 9-ring spell ’Ti Freeze’ is of too high a tier, and even a Holy Relic can hardly retain such a strong ability.
Thus, Shawn speculates it might be the Mind Path’s 6-ring spell — ’Ti Acceleration’!
It allows the user to enter another ti fra, greatly increasing speed, making all other creatures seem frozen.
The effect of this Mind Spell doesn’t match the 9-ring ’Ti Freeze,’ which is why Shawn feels Benjamin’s figure jumps like a slide; if it were Ti Freeze, he shouldn’t feel anything.
Ti Acceleration from the Mind Path can be seen as a weakened version of Ti Freeze.
Indeed!
Benjamin’s silhouette again seems not to be in the sa ti frequency as Shawn, jumping like a slide. When Shawn again captures his figure,
A silver-white Flowing Light streaks across the sky!
Benjamin directly runs vertically, appearing like a flash at the top of the clock tower, then, just as the clown was about to grab the Antimatter Rifle, he slashes at his arm with a sword.
A splash of blood.
But it wasn’t the blood of a normal person; Benjamin severed two of the clown’s fingers, yet what flowed out from inside the enemy was gray-white ink, as if the ink-like liquid was his blood.
"Ti Acceleration?!" The clown’s expression also showed a hint of shock.
His silhouette instantly exchanged positions.
The real body appeared twenty ters away in the shadows, leaving a stand-in at the original spot, which was cleaved in half by the Flowing Light wielded by Benjamin, revealing a peculiar doll split in two amidst the shattered shadows.
Tick tock.
The clown listened closely, hearing the faint ticking sound. He gazed at Benjamin before him, surprised, "The [Ti Pocket Watch] is actually in your hand!"
Benjamin didn’t give him any chance to buffer; the Flowing Light in his hand transford into starlight, directly stabbing at the enemy’s vital point, while his silhouette approached swiftly, his left-hand sword fingers directly aiming for the enemy’s heart.
"Hehe!"
The clown let out an odd, exaggerated laugh, his silhouette flickering in the shadows, not at all confronting Benjamin head-on, as if he already knew his abilities.
Boom!
Right at that mont, a loud explosion sounded from the Wharf District of Dorne City. When Shawn looked up, his pupils shrank slightly because he saw a gigantic tentacle over a hundred ters long, a terrifying behemoth resembling a blend of devil fish, moray eel, and octopus crawling ashore. Amidst countless people’s terrified and despairing screams, the massive tentacle brimming with suckers and sharp teeth swept across, directly flattening the dockyard.
Solid walls, the factory’s steel bars, towering chimneys, all were snapped in half by this huge creature.
— The son of Dagon [Eldritch Spawn]!
Damn.
Why are there two Eldritch Spawns?
"Oh! The Beast Tar has also begun the performance!..."
The clown’s comical silhouette danced in the shadows, seemingly teasing Benjamin, never too far, yet never too close, perfectly within Benjamin’s chase range. His eerie laughter echoed under the night sky, "Though there was a bit of an accident, the grand Dark Ceremony has just begun!"
"Ladies and gentlen! Please enjoy the final performance of the Doomsday Circus!"
The clown’s words carried a chill of foreboding.
They ca here.
Seemingly never intending to leave alive.
