" Yeah, let's eat, I am also very hungry", Tan Fan said rubbing his tummy in a very funny way. They imdiately started eating. Lie Ruge stretched out her right hand in an attempt to grab the spoon but Yi Lan was fast enough to grab the spoon first.
" Do you intend to feed again today? I have told you before that there is nothing wrong with my hands, so I can eat just fine. You don't have to disturb yourself over this trivia matter. Stop pampering or I might really get spoiled by all your pampering", Lie Ruge said stretching her right hand to snatch the spoon from Yi Lan's hand but Yi Lan imdiately changed the position of his hand swiftly.
" I'm not complaining Ge'er and I really want you to get used to it. If you want I can spoon-feed you everyday even when you have recovered, how do you like the sound of that huh?", Yi Lan said as he stole a kiss from her.
" Ge'er please, you guys can display your show of affections when we are gone. I might really choke to death if I keep on watching this your lovey-dovey acts. Don't corrupt my innocent heart please...", Xiao Bai said choking on her food. Yun Yi quickly handed her a glass of water and gently patted her back to calm her down.
" We are not doing it for you guys to see it but you can close your eyes if it is bothering you. Or in the worst scenario, you can excuse us first if you cannot handle it. It's all up to you", Lie Ruge said while opening her mouth for Yi Lan to properly feed her. In the middle of eating their food, Yun Yi kept on placing different yummy dishes on Xiao Bai's plates while Yi Lan kept on feeding Lie Ruge without taking bite out of the food.
" Lanlan, why are you only feeding ? You haven't even eaten a bite from the dishes since we have started eating, is the food not up to your taste? Anyways I won't eat again until you decide to eat", Lie Ruge said rejecting the food Yi Lan brought to her mouth.
" I'm satisfied seeing you eat so well, I can see you are really enjoying all the dishes, and I am not hungry at all. You can eat everything on the table and if you want more of it, I can order Fei Yan to buy the exact sa dishes on his way to the hospital", Yi Lan said using his handkerchief to wipe her mouth.
" What a lovely sight, you guys look so amazing", Tan Fan said devouring his food. He really wished he had a real girlfriend but too bad he didn't have any lady who really liked him. All the ladies he has been sleeping with were just interested in his wealth and nothing else.
" It is not lovely, it is really annoying. Ge'er and Yi Lan are just rubbing it on our faces for being single", Xiao Bai said playfully.
" Why are you saying you are single? You have a handso and rich boyfriend right? It is just that he is not here right now", Tan Fan corrected her playfully. Xiao Bai smiled awkwardly when Tan Fan corrected her, she could not bring herself to tell them that she did not have a boyfriend.
" Hey, Xiao Bai if you feel jealous about their display of love I'm free so you can use anyhow you want, I don't mind", Yun Yi said trying to plant a kiss on her lips, but she quickly shoved a dessert into his mouth.
" Who says that I am jealous?", Xiao Bai said rolling her eyes.
" Just admit it you are jealous", Tan Fan said nudging her playfully with his right elbow.
" Oh my gosh! Why should I be jealous moreover I have a boyfriend. If anyone should be jealous, I think it should be the two of you not ", Xiao Bai said as she made a funny expression at them.
" If all of you are just going to keep on arguing you can just leave, stop spoiling our mont guys", Yi Lan said sternly throwing them a cold stare. The guys imdiately stop picking on each other after Yi Lan intervened. Since Yi Lan refused to eat, Lie Ruge took it upon herself to spoon-feed him too. Yi Lan who previously said that he was not hungry enjoyed every bit of the dishes as she fed him. After eating just half of the feast, they called people to clear up the table for them. Xiao Bai who loves dessert so much settled down to devour the chocolate cake which was placed on the table. Lie Ruge only had a bite out of it but Xiao Bai did not care, she did not mind eating the whole cake if she was allowed to since she did have to worry about gaining weight.
" Xiao Bai, you know you are not allowed to eat the whole cake right? You might have a stomachache and if you sneakily eat the whole cake just have it in mind that you will not have any dessert for the rest of the year Ok?", Lie Ruge said smiling sweetly. Her word made Xiao Bai drop the remaining cake imdiately. She quickly ran to sit down on the bed because she did not want to get tempted by sitting down close to the cake.
" Xiao Bai, how co I haven't seen Xiao Min, it's so unlike him not to be here when I am hospitalized. He usually made it a point of duty to visit even if I sustain even the slightest scratch on my body so what is wrong with him? Is he ill?", Lie Ruge asked worriedly.
" Don't even go there sister-in-law, he was here almost every single day when you were in coma. CEO Xiao and Third bro almost fought because of you if not for Xiao Bai's imdiate intervention. He only stopped visiting you after that day. I guess Xiao Bai must have talked so senses into him that is why he has not drop by lately", Tan Fan replied quickly.
" Brother Min has not dropped by ever since you woke up because he is out of the country. There was an important ergency international eting, so he didn't have any other choice but to attend the eting since he is the CEO of Xiao's Corporation. At first, he did not want to travel out for the eting, but he had to because they specifically said that it was compulsory for the CEO be to attend the one week international eting. But don't worry Ge'er, he said he has finished wrapping up everything over there, so he will back tomorrow", Xiao Bai said happily.
" I see.... but what actually caused the fight? Xiao Min is not the type of person to just go about picking a fight with soone and so is Lanlan so what actually happened?", Lie Ruge asked curiously.
" We don't really know what led to the fight because neither of them were willing to tell us the reason they almost fought no matter how hard I tried to pry the answer from them", Xiao Bai replied sheepishl.
" That is weird but it is a good thing that they did not actually exchange punches and hey BaiBai, how are things at the office? I hope Director Lie is not making life difficult for you right?", Lie Ruge asked resting her head on Yi Lan's shoulder.
" Everything is perfect, it's just that there is so weird rumour going around in the company and I think Changle is the masterminder of it", Xiao Bai said furiously.
" What rumour?", Yi Lan asked frowning.
" The rumour says that Ge'er is dead and that the chairman is just covering up the death of his beloved daughter", Xiao Bai said.
" What? Who the hell spread such a rumour? How could they say that our perfectly healthy sister-in-law is dead? I will make sure to teach whosoever spread such a despicable rumour a lesson he /she will never forget", Tan Fan said grinding his teeth in anger.
" I can't believe that Miss Changle has the heart to spread such rumours about her own cousin. What kind of cousin is she when she is supposed to be protecting you. I bet her senile old man is also involved in this", Yun Yi said tightening his fist in anger. Everybody was so angry after hearing the news. The only two people that was not surprised by the rumour was Xiao Bai and Lie Ruge because her cousin, uncle and aunts has done worst things compared to this one before. Even Yi Lan's expression turned dark after hearing what his woman's family wished for his woman.
" Just give about two hours, I will make sure the person who spread such rumours about you will not be able to live to tell the story after I am true dealing with him/ her", Yi Lan said nacingly. His cold and expressionless voice scared the hell out of Yun Yi, Tan Fan and Xiao Bai. Although Yun Yi and Tan Fan has lived with Yi Lan almost all their lives, but they can never get used to how scary Yi Lan could be when he is provoked.
" Hey guys, thank you so much for your care but I will appreciate it if you guys don't intervene in this matter. And Yun Yi point of correction, I don't have a family mber like that. I have reserved my hatred for this people for over the past 13 years not because I didn't know how to avenge myself, I would have done that fours years ago but I chose not to do it. I might have been helpless when I was a child but I Ge'er, I am not a thing of ridicule. I want to personally teach them what it ans when they step on the toe of a wounded tigress. They have bitten more than they could chew this ti around, and they won't escape from my wrath. I don't give a damn about whom they are. Since they chose to abandon first, I will also do the sa thing to them but in a crueler way because the Lady Boss does not give the sa asure of treatnt that was given to her but a million fold", Lie Ruge said cruelly. Her face was devoid of any emotion when she was saying this cruel words. Xiao Bai could bet with her life that she has never seen her best friend like that before. She looked so scary and dreadful, just re looking at her will make n tremble at jer feet.
" You don't have to handle everything on your own, you have now so let's do it together. Your enemies are also my enemies and your loved ones are equally my ones. I know that you can handle everything all on your own but if you do all those things on your own then what is my duty to you as your man? You are strong Ge'er, but we are stronger together. We are undefeatable as a team so let's fight this battle together hmmm", Yi Lan said staring at her anxiously.
" That is true Ge'er, sister-in-law, you are not alone you have us too, and we are more than ever ready to do anything for you", Yun Yi, Tan Fan and Xiao Bai chorus in unison. They were surprised to know that they had the sa thing in mind after saying the exact sa words.
