Nioh’s eyes narrowed, glowing a faint, ominous red. The flicker of crimson in his pupils reflected arcs of voltage that now danced along the rims of his wheelchair.

"She’s already here," he muttered, his voice vibrating with the low thrum of approaching static.

In the distant sky, the clouds fractured, and a low resonant hum descended. The Queen had arrived.

The swarm parted, revealing her form—a massive, chitinous monstrosity of gleaming obsidian and electric gold. Her wings pulsed like capacitor plates, releasing discharges that shattered air pressure barriers. She was not just a hive matriarch—she was a living Tesla coil. Bio-electricity cascaded across her thorax, building with tension, and her compound eyes locked onto Nioh with malevolent intelligence.

The battlefield hushed.

Then Nioh moved.

He didn’t stand. He didn’t lift a hand. Yet from beneath his chair, the Infinity Umbrella burst open—an engineered miracle shaped like a jet-black lotus. Thousands of sleek, obsidian-black needles rose into the air, orbiting around him like a disciplined electron shell. Each needle shimred with runic inscriptions—microscopic etchings of plasma conductors, electro-magnetic anchors, and frequency regulators.

The air sang.

A thunderous pulse cracked the sky as the Queen fired the first volley. A hailstorm of stingers, each the size of a dagger, launched from her abdon. They scread through the sky, glowing with blue-white arcs.

"Incoming!" Cryo shouted, freezing a portion of the battlefield instinctively.

But Nioh didn’t flinch. The needles reoriented themselves with a sonic chirp. On command, they aligned into a hexagonal prism grid, each needle resonating at slightly different wavelengths.

A stinger collided with the barrier—and disintegrated.

"Phase cancellation," X muttered, eyes wide. "He’s using destructive interference patterns to neutralize kinetic energy."

"That’s not all," Akron added. "Look at the spin—he’s weaving the magnetic field around himself into a self-repairing do. That’s... absurd."

Nioh’s eyes tracked the Queen with relentless calm. Another wave of stingers ca, this ti spiraling with chaotic trajectories—intended to overwhelm any predictive defense.

The needles danced.

Zreeeeng! ZRRRASHHHHH!

They moved not just with precision, but with grace. A ballet of electromagnetism. As the stingers closed in, the needles pulsed with electric energy, redirecting their magnetic poles in real-ti, creating eddies of interference that twisted the projectiles off-course. So exploded mid-air in crackles of thunder; others were lted by high-frequency plasma sheaths that the needles exuded.

Then ca Nioh’s retaliation.

He leaned slightly forward in his chair. A command signal pulsed from the base of the Infinity Umbrella.

A lattice of needles split off from the main formation, grouping into clusters. Nioh’s voice ca low, laced with static: "Initiating waveform fragntation."

Each needle began to hum with a different pitch. The air shimred.

In unison, they discharged.

Instead of striking directly, the needles projected narrow lightning arcs, braided and spiraling like quantum filants. They didn’t target the Queen’s body directly—instead, they ford a fractal grid of voltage traps in the space around her, calculating her trajectory with absurd accuracy.

"He’s creating a Faraday cage... around her," Cryo breathed.

The Queen shrieked, her wings fluttering in distress. Trapped.

She fired a massive surge—a beam of bio-electric energy powerful enough to vaporize a ch.

Nioh didn’t counter. He redirected. The mont the energy hit the periter of his voltage grid, the needles spun, their capacitors absorbing the charge and spinning it back along the cage’s outer layers, bouncing it in controlled arcs like a particle accelerator.

"He’s... he’s recycling the energy," X realized. "And compressing it."

At the grid’s focal point—directly above the Queen—a pulse detonated.

THRAKOOOOOMM!

A white-hot lightning bolt shaped like a double helix slamd into the Queen’s thorax, sending her plumting to the ground. The shockwave rippled across the city, shattering windows, causing buildings to groan.

The Queen buzzed, rising again—cracked but not defeated. Her wingbeats beca erratic, discharging EMP pulses that knocked drones and defense units offline.

Nioh frowned. His needles condensed.

He whispered: "Anti-EMP sh Mode."

Instantly, the floating network realigned into spiraling spirals of overlapping Tesla gates—structures built from interlocked magnetic toroids. They spun opposite to the Queen’s charge frequency, cancelling the EMP waves in real ti.

Then he launched his final sequence.

"Akron, you still owe that bet," Nioh said over comms.

Akron chuckled. "You win. This is art."

Nioh pointed a finger forward, and the entire formation of black needles compacted into a cone, rotating rapidly.

"Synaptic Disruption Protocol: Needlestorm."

The sky scread.

The cone launched forward and exploded into a million micro-needles mid-flight. Each carried a specialized payload: high-frequency neural disruptors, designed to interfere with the Queen’s hive signals.

The Queen screeched in agony, her flight pattern collapsing. Her limbs spasd as her neural grid overloaded, overwheld by foreign signals.

She fell, crashing into a crater of her own making. Her carapace twitched, arcs of uncontrolled electricity lashing around her like dying starbursts.

Nioh’s chair hovered forward slowly.

One final needle—engraved with ancient glyphs—floated beside him. It glead black and violet.

"Disapeear," he said simply.

The needle descended into the Queen’s skull with surgical precision.

A mont of silence.

Then a soft pop—like a fuse breaking.

The Queen stilled. Dead.

The battlefield erupted in silence. Then cheers.

Cryo exhaled. "That... wasn’t a fair fight. That was a thesis paper in death."

X nodded. "He’s not just a prince. He’s a storm with a PhD."

Akron crossed her arms, quietly smiling. "And to think... he hasn’t even stood up yet."

Nioh gestured, and the thousands of electrically charged debris that fell from the corpses of the electric bees congregated at a single point like opposite sides of a magnet.

They sward from every direction under the push of Nioh’s magnetic field, and slowly a concentrated mass of electricity appeared above the outer city.

"Compress!" he yelled.

All the pieces combined into a glowing stone charged with condensed electric energy.

Cryo stepped out with a special box to retrieve the stone.

Nioh lowered his hand and sighed, "Let’s go we have a Ball to attend to."

"Yeah I still have a lot to prepare for tonight" Akron said.
