"Are you serious?" Isla Linton’s hands hit the table with excitent. "Henry, can you really help ?"

Henry Sullivan nodded. "I’ll help you. Tell , what are your conditions."

"Just one, don’t let Jas Yinley find . I need a place to stay for a while, no other conditions."

"I won’t ask anything. Give two days, and I’ll find a place for you."

Before leaving, Isla gave him a phone number, saying she didn’t have much ti and needed to return quickly.

After she left, Henry Sullivan sat in his seat for a long ti.

He couldn’t understand why Isla, who said Jas treated her well, still wanted to hide.

This left him puzzled.

But since he had already agreed to help, he would absolutely see it through to the end.

Finding such a place was actually very simple. He called Hunter Warren, who was very surprised to hear he needed help with sothing like this.

"Henry, don’t be foolish. You can’t help with this matter."

"Why?"

Hunter’s voice was very serious. "Isla Linton has nothing to do with you now.

She’s now married to Jas Yinley, and no matter what’s going on between them, you can’t get involved.

I know that Isla’s request is probably really hard for you to refuse.

But you must understand, Jas Yinley is not soone easy to cross.

By helping her, you’re essentially making an enemy of Jas.

Is your current life happy or not? Are you really planning to ruin your happiness for Isla Linton?"

"You’re exaggerating. What I’m going to do is just find her a place to stay.

She said that once she has a hidden residence like this, she won’t co to again."

"That’s what she says, but Jas Yinley won’t think that way.

You’re hiding his wife, and you were once her man. If you were Jas Yinley, what would you think?"

Henry Sullivan frowned. "Then what do you think I should do?"

"Tell Isla Linton that you can’t help her. There’s no place in the world that Jas Yinley can’t find."

Henry sighed. "But I’ve already promised her, and you know, I owe Isla, I can’t refuse her request.

I understand all the reasons you said, but... think about it from my perspective too."

Hunter spoke solemnly. Indeed, from an outsider’s standpoint, he could see clearly what was going on.

Even Henry Sullivan himself probably knew he shouldn’t help Isla Linton, but his sense of debt overpowered his rationality.

So, there’s no way to stop Henry, no, no one can stop Henry.

He’s Henry’s good brother, and if he doesn’t step in to help now, probably no one else can either.

Hunter nodded. "Alright, I understand. I’ll give you an answer by tomorrow morning."

Before going ho that night, Henry had already decided not to tell Ivy Miller for the ti being.

He also knew that keeping it from her was wrong.

But from Ivy’s perspective, if she knew about this, she would definitely be very upset.

Why should he make Ivy sad because of himself?

He shouldn’t.

So, he planned to handle this matter secretly.

As long as Isla Linton is settled and he helps her with what she wants, he will completely withdraw from her world.

Isla also said that she only needed his help this once.

Afterward, they would be even.

When he entered the house, Ivy was asleep, and Ivy Miller was on the phone with a friend in the living room. He didn’t know which friend it was.

Seeing him co back, she waved her hand, and Henry walked over to ruffle her hair.

"Okay, okay, I’ll talk to you later. My uncle is back, so I’m hanging up."

After hanging up, Ivy Miller excitedly said, "Uncle, guess what? Today Ivy was so cooperative in the photoshoot.

The photographer said she’s the most proper little model he’s seen.

Do you think our Ivy is naturally talented for acting?

When she grows up, she should beco an actress, how great would that be."

"What are you thinking? My daughter won’t be doing this kind of work when she grows up."

"What’s wrong with this kind of work? Many people like it.

I like her being liked and loved."

"Where there’s love, there’s criticism," he tapped her forehead lightly. "Besides, don’t you know this line of work is also tough?"

"I don’t know," she shook her head. "I haven’t experienced it.

So, what do you want your child to do? She can’t be a soldier, I don’t like that."

"I want her to choose what she likes to do.

No matter what she wants to do, I’ll support her."

"What if she chooses to be an actress or sothing similar?" Ivy Miller raised her eyebrows, curious to see his response.

"I won’t stop her, as long as it’s her own choice and not sothing we forced on her."

Ivy Miller was taken aback. This answer, she could give full marks.

Yes, respecting a child’s choice is the most important, she should learn this from him.

Henry Sullivan gave her a gentle smile. "I’m going to the study."

Once in the study, Henry closed his eyes, feeling guilt, a feeling that made him very uncomfortable.

Actually, seeing Isla Linton again, he had no strong emotions.

Maybe because they had been apart for too long, and the feelings had faded.

Not only was he not excited, but seeing Isla, she also remained calm.

Obviously, he could no longer stir Isla’s emotions.

She ca to him purely because she regarded him as an old acquaintance.

Looking out the door, he was torn again, should he tell her?

If he told her, there were many possible outcos: she might not be angry, she might support him, or she might be upset but not show it, or she might be angry and not let him help Isla...

If it was the last one, what should he do?

He shook his head, forget it. Best not to say anything. Once this is over, he’d spend a lifeti making up for the wrong of hiding it from her.

The next day, Henry Sullivan got up and left early.

Like when they first started at the base, he left her a note.

Arriving at the office early, he waited for Hunter Warren’s call. It finally ca after eight o’clock.

However, it wasn’t from Hunter, but from Faye Townsend.

"Brother Henry, it’s ."

"Faye, why are you calling?" Henry guessed Faye must have sothing to say to him.

"Brother Henry, Hunter found the place," Faye’s voice was obscure, "but after Hunter told about this last night, I thought it over carefully, and this matter... can you not get involved."
