Jane Quinlan turned and left, with Xavier following her out.
The office was now as silent as a graveyard.
Many people felt that sothing was off with the atmosphere.
Jane Quinlan headed back to her seat.

Jane Quinlan turned and glared at him: "Xavier, what are you doing?"

She returned to her seat, her face ashen.

Initially assuming both assistants would accompany them, Nolan instead said he could go by himself.

After Nolan Moore drove away, Jane went to the side of the road to hail a cab.

Xavier stood by her side, watching her hail a cab, not moving himself.
