Upon entering the private room, the manager hurried in with his staff: "Young Master, how co you suddenly ca over today?"
"Why, do I need to apply in advance to visit?"
Kay Forrest cocked his legs and handed a nu to Jane Quinlan and Benjamin Quinlan with one hand.
The manager quickly said: "No, no, no, that’s not what I ant."
Kay Forrest looked at Benjamin Quinlan: "Order whatever you like, the food here is quite good."
Jane Quinlan looked at the prices on the nu and couldn’t help but scream in her heart, is this really just eating, or is it devouring money?
Benjamin Quinlan considered himself to have seen so of the world abroad.
But here, he still felt sowhat intimidated.
It seems, you really can’t compare people with one another.
Benjamin Quinlan slid the nu in front of Kay Forrest: "Neither Jane nor I have been here before, we don’t know what’s good. Why don’t you help us order?"
You? Hearing Benjamin Quinlan say this, Jane Quinlan couldn’t help but smile wryly. Kay Forrest was really playing it up big ti this round, Benjamin could feel the pressure.
Kay Forrest glanced up at the manager: "Instruct them to bring up six signature dishes.
Oh right, and bring over the red wine I had last ti."
"Got it, Young Master." The manager led his staff away, and Kay Forrest turned to Benjamin Quinlan: "I heard you’ve been back for a few days. I’ve been quite busy these days and didn’t have ti to entertain you.
Since I’m free tonight, I asked Jane to invite you over. I hope it hasn’t been a bother."
"Not at all, I was always looking forward to Jane introducing her boyfriend to ."
Kay Forrest curled his lips into a seductive smile: "So, now that you’ve t him, how do you feel he compares to the future brother-in-law you imagined? Who wins?"
"Of course you win. With Jane’s coy deanor, I never imagined she could find such an outstanding boyfriend like you."
"Bro, how am I coy," Jane Quinlan glared at Benjamin Quinlan.
"Right, she’s straightforward about it."
Kay Forrest added another blow, and Jane felt all the more frustrated: "Don’t you two know to talk behind soone’s back instead of to their face?"
"A straightforward man doesn’t resort to insinuations," Kay laughed heartily, and Jane glared at him fiercely once again.
He laughed and looked at Benjamin Quinlan: "I hear you’re not planning to go back to Switzerland?"
"Yeah, I’m looking to find a job here in Anchester and settle down."
"Is finding a job your current plan?" Kay Forrest cocked his legs again.
"Yes."
"Do you have any companies in mind?"
"I ntioned to Jane before that I’m quite interested in BlueHorizon Group and Skyward Group.
Though BlueHorizon Group hasn’t shown any recruiting intentions recently, Skyward Group has opportunities, and I plan to submit my resu there in the next few days."
"Interested in Skyward?" Kay Forrest looked at him; what a coincidence.
Benjamin Quinlan nodded.
Kay Forrest looked at Jane Quinlan: "How co you never ntioned this to before?"
"Even if I told you, could you have done anything?
I’m not familiar with Skyward Group myself, and my brother has looked into it; he says their interviews are quite strict.
My brother said, the fact that I could be placed at Skyward Group by you is already a miracle."
Kay Forrest gave a wry smile: "This is called a miracle? Looks like I need to create so more miracles for you to see."
Jane Quinlan furrowed her brow: "Huh?’
Kay Forrest didn’t bother with her and looked at Benjamin Quinlan: "What’s the position you’re interested in?"
"I studied sales. I would like to work in the marketing departnt."
Kay Forrest nodded: "Do you have any experience in this area?"
"None."
"Do you like this position, or do you just simply think it matches your major?"
"I’ve enjoyed talking and chatting with people since I was young. I like sales, and honestly, I see it as a departnt where it’s easier to make money."
Kay Forrest smiled: "Hmm," being ambitious about money has its pros and cons.
The good thing is, for the sake of money, he’ll strive to work hard.
But the downside is that when ambition is too great, it’s easy to be corrupted by money.
"Then let give you a hand. Tomorrow, go to HR and look for Manager Thomas Wellington.
He’ll arrange a suitable position for you."
Benjamin Quinlan was surprised for a mont, turning his head towards Kay Forrest: "What does Manager Wellington handle?"
"He decides who the company ends up hiring, and who not to hire." Isn’t that straightforward enough?
Jane Quinlan was also bewildered; he couldn’t just be bragging.
She leaned towards him: "Are you sure you can handle this?
Don’t let us down at the critical mont, leaving my brother disappointed."
"If anyone’s going to be let down, it’ll be you first." He reached out affectionately and ruffled her hair, this woman, she really underestimates him too much.
