"I’ve always thought you had a woman you loved."

"I’m not young anymore, of course I’ve had a woman I loved before.

But it’s not the child you heard about in the rumors."

Oliver Turner’s explanation was not urgent.

Faye Townsend looked at him in this mont, completely unlike he was lying.

But after experiencing a heartbreaking failed relationship, she was no longer so sure of the so-called truth she saw and heard.

"Child?"

"There are various reasons I won’t explain to you.

But the rumors are untrustworthy.

I think instead of believing what others say about Oliver Turner in rumors,

you should believe what the real Oliver Turner tells you."

Faye raised her eyebrows without speaking.

He didn’t explain, and she naturally wouldn’t force him.

She wasn’t a gossip enthusiast now and wasn’t very concerned about other people’s affairs.

Oliver stretched out his long arms, pressing them against the car roof, effectively trapping her.

"Don’t the rumors also say you slept with ? But what’s the reality?"

His gaze was ambiguous, the corner of his lips slightly curved.

Faye quietly looked at Oliver, who was so close.

She leaned back a bit, completely against the car.

As he stared at her this way, her beautiful eyes with long eyelashes fluttered, incredibly captivating.

He truly admired her.

A regular woman, encircled by him like this, should have only two reactions.

Either she liked him and threw herself at him.

Or she hated him and started punching and kicking.

But she gave him a third reaction, very calm, with no ripples.

As if she was rely encircled by a statue at this mont.

After a while, Faye raised her hand to push against his chest, pushing him away.

"I admit you have a point; the power of rumors is indeed strong.

I apologize for suspecting you because of the rumors."

She lifted her wrist to check the ti: "It’s almost midnight.

You’re a busy person; I won’t keep you."

Oliver raised his eyebrows: "Every ti you turn away.

It’s truly hard to drink a cup of tea made by you."

Faye smiled with closed lips and walked past him: "When the Townsend Group is back on track, I’ll personally brew a pot of good tea to thank you."

After speaking, she turned to go upstairs.

Oliver stood leaning against the car, watching her leave.

At the door to the building, Faye turned back and said: "Go ho and rest early, good night."

He watched her smilingly unlock and enter the apartnt.

Oliver shook his head with a smile, indeed amused.

Even Oliver Turner could wait patiently for two and a half hours for a woman like this.

He never waited for won, not once before.

Oliver, in a very good mood, got back into the car, put on a Bluetooth headset, and made a call.

Although turned away, he was still in a good mood.

The phone connected, and Oliver’s voice was slightly indifferent: "Did you see Faye today?"

The man’s voice on the other end was also a bit disdainful: "This woman reports rapidly.

This ti... done with tenderness? Did you think of Clara, did you feel sorry for her?"

"Victor Jude, I tolerated you for Xavier’s sake.

You’d better weigh how much you’re worth.

If you dare touch Faye Townsend again, I’ll let you know what regret ans."

"Oliver Turner." Victor Jude’s voice also turned serious.

"Your current actions are hurting Clara.

She loves you so much; if she knows you’ve changed, she’ll be in unbearable pain."
