Yan Xinxin quickly shook her head to deny it.
"I just made so new pastries, so..."
She pointed at the steaming little cakes.
"You didn’t really eat much for dinner anyway, so could you help taste them and see if they’re good?"
Finishing her words, she turned around, but just as she pivoted, Mo Chuxi stretched out his arms and wrapped her into a hug from behind.
"Mo Chuxi?"
Yan Xinxin called his na in confusion.
"A lot has happened today."
He parted his lips, his voice low and hypnotic, wrapping her ears in its dangerously sexy tone under the moonlit night.
"Luckily, my dearest is safe."
Yan Xinxin listened in a daze. She was a ss inside, unclear on what their relationship actually was. What was the status between her and Mo Chuxi?
Maybe initially, it was just a simple collaboration, but after the unexpected arrival of the little one in her belly, everything had grown complicated.
"After finals on Monday, be good and start your internship at Di Jue."
His tone was as domineering as ever, brooking no argunt.
Yan Xinxin didn’t deny it. Right now, staying by Mo Chuxi’s side was undoubtedly the safest choice for her.

A new Monday morning.
Yan Xinxin woke up from her grogginess.
The lazy sumr breeze flirted idly through the floor-to-ceiling windows, fresh and pleasant in the air.
After finishing her morning routine, Yan Xinxin walked into the dining room, pleasantly surprised to find a steaming breakfast waiting for her, along with a note placed beside a glass of milk.
Mo Chuxi had taken Xi to kindergarten and had also brought little Chenxi along.
Yan Xinxin sat down absentmindedly, gazing at the still-warm breakfast, losing herself for a mont.
He made breakfast for her? What an unbelievable gesture...
Not wasting ti, Yan Xinxin finished her al and headed to school.
After finishing the last two exams of the sester today, her coursework would be complete, and it would be ti to begin her internship.
Walking into the classroom, she found the atmosphere buzzing with excitent.
"I told you already, with my skills, of course I’d secure a spot in Di Jue’s jewelry design departnt!"
Ling Siyu’s smug voice carried from the group.

Soone whispered a warning.
Ling Siyu’s smug expression faltered slightly. Spotting Yan Xinxin approaching, she sneered, crossing her arms and striking a haughty pose. She intentionally brushed past Yan Xinxin, slamming her shoulder hard against hers!
Yan Xinxin’s eyes narrowed, and suddenly, she reached out and grabbed Ling Siyu’s wrist, yanking her forward forcefully.
"Ah!"
Ling Siyu scread, utterly stunned!
"Yan Xinxin, what the fuck is wrong with you?!"
