The Queen Haotian sniffed, "I knew everything that happened afterwards. We attended the sa middle school, and then went to the sa university. Once, Xiang Zuo asked him about his parents, and he got upset. After that, none of us dared to bring it up again."
The Emperor Haotian gave her a displeased look.
Yi Luowa quickly tugged on her father’s sleeve.
The Emperor Haotian sighed deeply, "He’s been thinking about you for more than just a day or two. Haven’t you noticed at all?"

The Emperor Haotian slapped his forehead with force, "That old boy, he’s too deceitful. Who could ever understand what goes on in his mind!"
Tong Airui smiled faintly, "Joel is indeed like that. He hides his true intentions so well that no one can truly figure out what he’s thinking. With his intelligence, seeking revenge for his mother and capturing the throne of R country would be effortless, yet he’s been staying here all along."
Yi Luowa slightly furrowed her brows, "He might be able to discern a bit of his intention, which is that he truly likes my mother. I heard what he said to her back then; his words weren’t lies."
"Cough cough..." Tong Airui lightly cleared his throat.
Yi Luowa raised her eyebrows slightly, "What are you afraid of? My dad is much more open-minded than you."
Tong Airui reached out and pinched her nose, "Don’t make a fuss! One more thing, I want to say, Joel did a lot of bad things, but he didn’t poison Danton, nor did he order it. He’s been controlling Du Ma all along and only later got in touch with Kai Di."
Yi Luowa was taken aback, "You know that too? And , he ordered the switch, didn’t he?"
"Yes. Because Xia Rou loves him, he used that to have Xia Rou stir up trouble."
"Did his nursemaid’s daughter tell you these things?"
"Indeed she did, but she doesn’t know everything. After her mother passed away, she lost track of what Joel was up to."
The Queen Haotian looked over, "Where is that person?"

Tong Airui took out his phone and called Da Peng, who promptly brought the person over.
The woman was in her forties, slightly overweight, and seed a bit timid seeing so many people in the hall.
The Queen Haotian ca over, took her hand, and sat her on the sofa, "Don’t be afraid, none of us will harm you. I just want to ask you a few things."
The woman nodded nervously, "I know what you want to ask, but I don’t know much. Even if my mom were alive, she wouldn’t know much either. What I told Pri Minister Airui before were all things my mom overheard."
"He even kept things hidden from your mother?" The Queen Haotian asked, puzzled.
"Yes, my mom said his character resembles his father’s, suspicious, cunning, and very dark. I always suspected my mom’s death had sothing to do with him, but I had no evidence. His influence is so vast, I could only endure it until now. Pri Minister Airui found , and I felt the ti was right!" The woman looked at Tong Airui, "Pri Minister Airui, when you interrogate Joel, could you ask him for ? If he really did it, I’d consider it avenging my mother."
Tong Airui nodded, "Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to find out for you."
The woman smiled gratefully, "Now I’ll tell you what I know. My mom said that Joel was fond of a girl from a very young age. They even argued over it with his mother. Just when he was about to succeed, Pri Minister Airui arrived with his n and thwarted his plans.
However, my mother said he was a very smart person. Long before Du Ma died, he had hidden much of Du Ma’s underground force, which he gradually expanded over the years. He’s even made connections with R country; Sato Hara’s two children obey his every word.
Oh, and that fake Princess Nancy was cultivated by him too. I heard from my mother that Nancy suffered a lot under him. He was abusive towards her, often saying he chose the wrong person and that if he had chosen the younger sister for the costic surgery, maybe his grand plan would have succeeded... that’s all I know."
