Yi Luowa pouted, "You’re really tougher than the others. Not only did you not faint, but you even managed to curse people out."

Jimo Shanshan laughed, "Fourth Sister-in-law, the baby looks like Danton. He’s so beautiful!"

Yi Luowa chuckled, "How does he look like Danton?"

Jimo Shanshan carried the baby over, "They say sons resemble their maternal uncles, and daughters resemble their paternal grandmothers. Fourth Sister-in-law, take a look, and then I’ll take him outside."

"Let see." Yi Luowa tilted her head to look at the baby.

Tong Airui also glanced over, "He really does look a bit like Danton."

"If he’s half as good-looking as his uncle, that’s enough." Yi Luowa smiled faintly, then closed her eyes.

"My Fourth Sister-in-law is tired, hurry up. I’ll take the baby out first." Jimo Shanshan instructed the doctors before heading toward the door with the baby.

"Wifey, don’t fall asleep just yet." Tong Airui lightly patted Yi Luowa’s cheek.

"I’m not sleeping; I’m just too exhausted. Give a mont." Yi Luowa weakly smiled.

Jimo Shanshan reached the door but then turned back, "Fourth Sister-in-law, I forgot to ask—who should hold the baby?"

"Whoever wants to, can. In our family, we’re not so particular about these things." Tong Airui waved dismissively. "Go on, don’t keep the family waiting."

"Oh." Jimo Shanshan responded, quickly stepping out the door.

Tong Airui noticed how quickly she left this ti and shook his head helplessly, silently hoping the baby wouldn’t inherit their quirks.

Outside, Jimo Shanshan looked at Tong Yao, who gave her a knowing look. Imdiately understanding, Jimo Shanshan handed the baby to the Empress of Haotian.

The Haotian Empress bead as she held her grandson, "This little guy looks exactly like Danton when he was born!"

"Like Danton?" Tong Yao leaned in, laughing, "Haha, this little guy really does look like Danton!"

"He does! Absolutely!" The Haotian Emperor laughed, "Long Che, co have a look too."

Long Che ca over with a grin, "If Zi Xi resembles his uncle, then he’s sure to grow up to be a rare beauty!"

The rest of the family gathered around. After taking a look at Zi Xi, they all said with smiles, "Definitely a handso guy!"

Danton squeezed forward, "Mom, let see."

"You looked just like this when you were a baby." The Haotian Empress moved her grandson closer to her son.

"Haha... I looked like this as a baby? So tiny!" Danton chuckled as he gently touched Zi Xi’s little face, "You better be more well-behaved than your brother and sister. They bully every day."

"Hehe..." Zi Xi suddenly giggled.

Everyone froze. This little guy was already laughing on the day he was born!

Danton rubbed his forehead, "Mom, I have a bad feeling. This little one will probably bully even more than his siblings."

"If he bullies you, that’s fair. While he was in your sister’s belly, he endured so much for you. Whatever he does to you in the future, you just have to bear it!"

"Alright, I’ll pay what I owe."

After chatting and laughing for a while, Yi Luowa was wheeled out. Everyone surrounded her, relieved to see that she seed in good spirits, and accompanied her back to the hospital room.

Yi Luowa glanced around and asked with a smile, "Where are Zi Yan and Sang Yu?"

Tong Yao ca over with a smile, "They’re asleep. Kou’er is watching them."

"It’s good they’re asleep; otherwise, they’d be causing a scene. You all should rest too. I’m fine now, and I’ll be discharged first thing tomorrow morning." Yi Luowa held her mother-in-law’s hand. "Mom, don’t have everyone stay in the hospital. The environnt here isn’t as good as ho. Let those who can go ho, go ho."

"You just gave birth. Don’t worry about these things. Rest, and I’ll handle it."

Tong Yao ushered everyone out. Only then did Tong Airui have a mont to take his son from his mother-in-law’s arms. He looked at the baby, who was staring right back at him.

"Mom, newborns can’t see people yet, right?" Tong Airui, curious, looked at his mother-in-law as his son kept staring straight at him.

"Silly boy, this isn’t your first rodeo as a dad." Yi Luowa playfully scolded, giving him a sideways glance.

The Haotian Empress laughed, "It depends on the child; so see sooner, so later. But right now, he definitely can’t see clearly."

"But he keeps staring at ." Tong Airui gently scratched his son’s little cheek with his index finger.

"Maybe he’s curious what his busybody dad looks like." Yi Luowa chuckled.

Tong Airui looked helplessly at his mother-in-law, "Mom, please rein her in. She’s so exhausted yet doesn’t miss a chance to roast ."

"Then roast her back. She called you a busybody dad; say she’s a busybody mom." The Haotian Empress laughed.

"Haha... that’s a good one! A perfect coback!" Danton slapped his thigh, laughing.

"It’s late, and you’re still laughing. Go rest with your dad and brother-in-law. I’ll take care of your sister and the baby." The Haotian Empress moved to take the baby from Tong Airui.

Tong Airui dodged slightly, "Mom, no need. Tonight, no one’s needed. I have plenty of experience with postpartum care and taking care of the baby. You all can go rest."

Danton stood up, laughing, "Brother-in-law, you’re more impressive in my eyes every day—Duke Dad!"

"You little rascal, go ahead and laugh at !" Tong Airui playfully kicked him. "You can’t afford to lose sleep either. Go get so rest."

"Alright, I’ll sleep next door. Call if you need anything." Danton walked out the door, saw his dad wasn’t moving, and pulled him along. "Let Mom take care of the baby for now. Let’s rest for two hours and then co back to relieve her."

"No need for you two to co back. Zhi Lan and I can handle it just fine." Tong Yao smiled as she approached.

After persuading the father and son to leave, Tong Yao entered the hospital room. She had just stepped in when she heard her son exclaiming, "No way!"

"Rui’er, what’s the matter now? Yi Luowa just gave birth—don’t stress her out!"

"Mom, I want to breastfeed the baby myself, but he absolutely refuses. Everyone says breastfeeding helps build the bond between mother and child, aids recovery, and has so many benefits. Why is he saying no to it?"

"Exactly! Why don’t you agree?"

Mother and daughter-in-law both glared at Tong Airui.

Tong Airui’s mouth twitched. "I can’t explain it to you, but anyway, I said no, so no! I already found a wet nurse."

"Give the baby." Yi Luowa reached out for him.

Tong Airui stepped back, "Stop fussing. Just get so sleep!"

Yi Luowa puffed her cheeks angrily, "Tong Airui, if you don’t hand over the baby, do you believe I won’t spill all your petty secrets?"

"What do I have to be afraid of..." Tong Airui trailed off when he noticed his wife narrowing her eyes and hurriedly placed the baby down on the bed.

Yi Luowa unbuttoned her top and turned to her mother, "Mom, help out."

"You don’t have milk right now." The Haotian Empress shook her head with a sigh and adjusted Zi Xi in her arms.

"It’ll co in gradually. When I had Zi Yan and Sang Yu, I managed. It’s just because of this guy that my milk dried up back then."

"Back then, you could only nurse one child. Would you have fed Zi Yan or Sang Yu? If you had chosen one, the other would’ve accused you of favoritism. I explained this to you ages ago..."

"But this ti, it’s just one. What’s your excuse now?" Yi Luowa cut him off.

"I’ve got nothing to say. Fine! Nurse him! Nurse him all you want..."

Tong Yao gave a light cough, making Tong Airui halt his words mid-sentence.

The Haotian Empress finally understood why her son-in-law didn’t want her daughter to breastfeed. She turned her face away, laughing to herself.

Tong Yao dragged her son by the arm, "Go on, scram! Don’t make a fool of yourself here."

"Exactly! Embarrassing!" Yi Luowa huffed at him.

"Mom, look at how stubborn she is. She’s making my liver hurt!" Tong Airui clutched his chest dramatically.

"And your stubbornness is just great!" Tong Yao teasingly smacked him on the back. "Go get so sleep!"
