"The child is still alive!"
Soone shouted, and the entire crowd burst into cheers.
Yi Luowa shed tears of joy, taking off her raincoat to cover the child.
"P-Princess!"
"It really is the Princess!"
"Folks, the Princess is here! She’s co to see us!"
With her face no longer shielded by the raincoat, Yi Luowa was quickly recognized by the crowd.
Yi Luowa looked at everyone with a solemn expression. "My citizens of Haotian, I’m sorry you’ve suffered! I ca here under the instructions of my parents to visit you!"
The crowd erupted into applause.
Yi Luowa raised her hand slightly, "My father asked to deliver this ssage: As long as there’s a glimr of hope, we will not give up! My mother also asked to pass this on to you: The most important mission right now is to save lives at all costs!"
"Long live! Long live! Long live!" The people cheered enthusiastically. Yi Luowa was deeply moved by their emotions, her eyes brimming with tears. It was only after their cheers subsided that she continued, "Prince Danton also asked to convey this ssage: Everyone must hold on, we won’t abandon a single person!"
The crowd broke into applause once again.
Yi Luowa bowed deeply to everyone, "I want to thank all of you right here and now. Thank you for not giving up even in such harsh circumstances. You’ve made see hope, and because of your perseverance, Haotian will have a brighter future. I also want to thank our soldiers of Haotian—thank you for facing the dangers head-on and arriving here at the earliest possible ti. Your arrival has eased the loneliness and helplessness of the victims in this disaster zone."
Yi Luowa didn’t say much, but her brief speech within a few minutes imdiately reignited the spirit of the disaster victims. Natural calamities were no longer terrifying; the King, Queen, Prince, and Princess hadn’t abandoned them. They believed in the Princess’s words—that their future, as well as Haotian’s future, would surely be better!
Yi Luowa’s speech was quickly transmitted via satellite.
The morale of Haotian soared, and the entire Fang Yao Continent ca to know that Haotian had such a compassionate and caring Princess.
Yi Luowa and the first batch of volunteers distributed food to everyone and visited the injured at the makeshift hospital. Everywhere she went, she carefully listened to the needs of the people and reported their urgent requirents to the rear supply teams.
The Princess’s down-to-earth attitude was sothing the people hadn’t known before, but this ti, everyone in Haotian rembered this beautiful, kind, and approachable Princess.
Yi Luowa stayed in the disaster zone for a day and a half. During this ti, she didn’t rest even for a mont, eating and working alongside everyone. When soone was rescued, she would cheer with the crowd, but when a corpse was uncovered, she would shed tears.
If it weren’t for her concerns about her parents and the situation on the front lines, she might have stayed with them until the rebuilding of their hos.
Yi Luowa had to leave. The disaster victims reluctantly sent her off to the vehicle, and Yi Luowa kept waving to them, promising that once their hos were rebuilt, she would bring her children to visit them.
On the way back, Yi Luowa blinked her eyes occasionally, while Kou’er, feeling pity for her, acted as her makeshift pillow.
"In Xiamu, Sister Luowa had never suffered so much before..."
Yuan Hang gently shook his head, signaling Kou’er to stop talking.
Yi Luowa’s eyelashes trembled slightly as she spoke hoarsely, "Kou’er, this is my holand, and those suffering are my people. Compared to them, the hardship I’ve endured ans nothing."
Kou’er lightly patted her shoulder, "Sister Luowa, rest a little more and stop talking."
"No rest. I’ll make a call to check on the situation over there." Yi Luowa sat up straight.
Yuan Hang quickly replied, "They haven’t made a move. If we act first, we’d have no justification."
"What are they plotting?" Yi Luowa frowned slightly.
"Little Mule said the two in R Country are fighting. The elder has fainted multiple tis out of anger at the younger one."
Yi Luowa’s lips curled faintly, "Serves them right! Any news about Danton?"
Yuan Hang lowered his head.
Yi Luowa’s heart ached sharply, "Still no news? It’s been so many days!"
Yuan Hang sighed, "Many countries’ rescue teams believe the golden hours for rescue have passed, so they’ve pulled out. Only a few of our countries’ rescue teams remain."
"We will find him! We must!" Yi Luowa clenched her fist firmly. Not finding Danton—how would her parents survive?
"Fourth Master also said he won’t give up!" Yuan Hang sighed again, "Fourth Master also wanted to ask, if you have ti, could you call him."
Yi Luowa pursed her lips, "I’ll call my parents first. Then, when the three of you aren’t around, I’ll call Tong Airui."
Yuan Hang smiled helplessly, "We’ve trained ourselves to tune out things we shouldn’t hear when we’re near you two."
Yi Luowa smirked, "Only a fool would believe you! Anyway, honestly, I don’t know how to thank you all for these years."
Dapeng opened his eyes and looked at Yi Luowa, "Fourth Sister-in-law, don’t say things like that. We’re family."
Yuan Hang nodded, "What Dapeng said is spot-on. We’re family. Even though my position is high now, I’ve never forgotten my roots. Without the Master, I wouldn’t have what I have today."
"And without Sister Luowa, I wouldn’t have Kou’er..."
"You two still don’t have children because of us!" Yi Luowa sighed, "Try to have one more."
Kou’er pressed her lips tightly, "Let’s wait a little longer. I’m honestly a bit scared."
"If you do have one this ti, co live with and I’ll take care of you." Yi Luowa guiltily squeezed Kou’er’s hand.
"Sister Luowa, please don’t feel that way! It’s not your fault at all; it’s entirely my carelessness." Kou’er quickly explained upon seeing her reaction.
"How could it not be my fault? The bla lies with for not taking good care of you."
Yuan Hang sighed, "No one is to bla! Bla instead. Let’s not discuss this anymore. Luowa, hurry up and call Emperor Haotian and Empress Haotian. Heaven knows if Marcus can manage to fool them."
"Okay." Yi Luowa responded, pulling out her phone.
The call had barely connected when Empress Haotian’s worried voice ca through, "Luowa, you must be exhausted. Why did you sleep for such a long ti?"
"Mom, I’m not exhausted. I hosted a foreign entrepreneur earlier this afternoon and am having dinner with him now."
"What kind of entrepreneur requires you to personally host them?"
Yi Luowa’s eyes shifted slightly, "A businessman from Z Country. His resources surpass Uncle’s, and we’ve essentially finalized negotiations. I’ll sign the contract with him later tonight and then head ho."
"Don’t overwork yourself."
"Mom, I’m young and healthy. How are you and Dad doing?"
"Your father and I are doing very well. Once you finish dinner, don’t co over here—head ho and get a proper night’s rest."
Yi Luowa glanced at the ti, "Mom, I’ll definitely be back by nine o’clock."
Yi Luowa gently coaxed her mother for a while longer before exchanging a few words with her father and ending the call.
Kou’er looked at her worriedly, "Why did you have to make up a story about an entrepreneur? How will you cover that lie later?"
Yi Luowa chuckled, "Why don’t you play the role of the entrepreneur instead?"
"I couldn’t pull it off!"
"Don’t worry. The entrepreneur is Shanshan’s older brother!"
Kou’er pouted, "You should have said that earlier. You had worried!"
"Beep beep..." Just as they were chatting, Yi Luowa’s phone rang.
Yi Luowa glanced at the number and hurriedly pressed the answer button.
"Mama~"
"Miss Mommy!"
"Mama co back!"
"Mommy talk~"
Listening to the babyish voices of Sangyu and Ziyan, tears stread down Yi Luowa’s face all at once.
