That afternoon, Mai Zekai and his team perford surgery on Queen Haotian.
The surgery was very successful!
Although Queen Haotian hadn’t woken up yet, the success of the surgery ant she was very close to regaining consciousness.
Queen Haotian was transferred to the intensive care unit, and Emperor Haotian imdiately followed to stay there as well.
Seeing her father struggling to reach her mother’s hand, Yi Luowa hurriedly had their beds pushed together.
Emperor Haotian tightly held his wife’s hand and smiled with satisfaction. If she lived, he lived; if she left, he would never live alone!

Tong Airui smiled, "I’ll listen to you. Whenever you tell to leave, that’s when I’ll go."
Yi Luowa’s nose stung slightly. She lowered her head and swallowed her tears before finally saying to Tong Yao, "Mom, I don’t know when I’ll be able to return. Please take care of both kids..."
"You silly girl, what are you saying? I’m their grandmother. It’s my duty to take care of them. Just leave them to , and don’t worry. You don’t need to worry about the household affairs. As for matters here, consult Marcus, and if there’s anything you don’t understand, give your dad or Rui’er a call."
Tong Yao said this, raising her hand to pat Yi Luowa’s shoulder. "While caring for your parents, make sure to take care of yourself too. Every few days, I’ll bring the kids to visit you."
Yi Luowa nodded.
Long Che sighed softly and looked at his wife. "I’ll go back alone. You stay here for two more days and head back with Rui’er."
Tong Yao was almost doubtful of her ears. Was Long Che acting differently today? He wasn’t in a hurry to get her and the kids to leave?
Long Che shot her an annoyed glance.
Tong Yao wanted to laugh, but the thought of the two in-laws in the hospital room suppressed the impulse.
Yi Luowa tugged on Tong Airui’s sleeve. "Honey, why don’t you go with Dad, Mom, the Seventh Boar, and the doctors to grab sothing to eat?"
Marcus walked over. "Princess, there’s no need to trouble Duke Airui. I’ve already booked a private room at the hotel. You all can go together. I’ll stay here to watch over King Randy and the Queen."
Yi Luowa quickly shook her head. "I’ll stay behind. You all go ahead."
Long Che glanced at Marcus. "Let’s go. Let the children stay. Even if you drag her away, her heart will still remain here."
Marcus looked at Yi Luowa, and she smiled and nodded. "My dad’s absolutely right. You should go with everyone."
Marcus hesitated for a mont but eventually left the hospital with Long Che and the others.
Yi Luowa glanced at her parents in the hospital room. Seeing that nothing seed amiss, she softly asked Tong Airui, "Any news from the Western Ocean side?"
Tong Airui said in a deep voice, "They’ve already found the wreckage of the crashed plane. Once the black box is recovered, we’ll know what caused the incident."
Yi Luowa let out a disappointed sigh. From what he said, it was clear there still wasn’t any news about Danton.
"Don’t worry. Just now, the rescue team found another survivor at sea."
When Yi Luowa heard this, hope reignited in her heart. She so desperately wished that the next survivor would be Danton!
That evening, Long Che and Mai Zekai left.
Two days later, Queen Haotian finally woke up. After waking, she said nothing and just stared blankly at the ceiling.
Yi Luowa called softly, "Mom—"
Queen Haotian turned her head to look at her daughter. In a hoarse voice, she asked, "I’m fine, just slept too long. I need to think about everything that’s happened. Danton still hasn’t returned, has he?"
Yi Luowa forced out a faint smile. "Soon, within the next few days, he’ll be back."
Queen Haotian let out a sigh, "When I was unconscious, I saw Danton. He told he wasn’t coming back."
Tong Airui frowned slightly. "Mom, dreams are always the opposite. If he said he’s not coming back, that ans he definitely will."
