After dinner, Yi Luowa recorded so videos of the two little ones and sent them to Denton.

Denton seed very busy and only replied with two words: Got it.

Yi Luowa pouted, set down her phone, and continued playing with the two little ones.

The two children were a little too excited today. It wasn’t until close to 10 PM that they got sleepy and started nodding off.

Long Che and Tong Yao carried them back to their rooms.

Yi Luowa and Tong Airui also returned to their bedroom. Just as they stepped inside, Yi Luowa whispered, "Why did you suggest Dad take the kids to S Country? That trip will last more than a month! You might not miss them, but I do!"

"I just said it casually, you just casually listened, and then let your stomach put things back where they belong."

Yi Luowa shot him a look. "Aren’t you supposed to say ’let your heart go back into your stomach’?"

"Whatever it is, just relax. Mom would never agree to it. If Mom doesn’t agree to sothing, Dad can jump up and down all he wants, but it won’t happen."

"This should be recorded and played back to Dad," Yi Luowa pouted again. "Honey, I can handle the kids being away from for a day or two, but if it’s any longer, I’ll go insane."

Tong Airui sighed deeply. "I feel the sa. Being able to co ho and play with them even for a little while is the highlight of my day. We don’t even have them with us full-ti, and we miss them like this! Now imagine Mom and Dad, who’ve been taking care of them since birth. If they were separated from the kids now, what would they feel like?"

Yi Luowa lifted her gaze to him. At this mont, she felt torn—sympathy for her in-laws, yet she couldn’t bear being apart from the kids.

What to do?

Yi Luowa wrestled with this all night and, early the next morning, she made a decision: a painful sacrifice!

Tong Yao and Long Che spent the whole night "arguing," neither able to persuade the other. When they saw their daughter-in-law was genuinely willing to let them take the kids, they finally stopped their feud.

After breakfast, Yi Luowa accompanied Tong Airui to Shen Ying company. She specifically went to Tong Airui’s office for a look and smiled before heading back to her own.

Tong Airui cast a doubtful glance at her retreating figure, quickly stepped into his office, scanned the room, and finally focused on two envelopes sitting on the desk.

Tong Airui opened the envelopes and skimd through their contents. The sentences that intrigued him most appeared at the end of both letters: "Thank you, Mrs. Luowa, for giving us the courage to speak up."

Tong Airui chuckled, took the letters, and walked to his wife’s office.

Yi Luowa had just received a file and was proofreading it. Seeing him enter, she smiled and asked, "Do you need sothing?"

"If you’re not too busy, let’s talk."

Yi Luowa checked the ti. "I’m swamped. I can only spare you ten minutes."

Tong Airui rested both hands on her desk, smirking mischievously. "Ten minutes? That’s just enough ti for to finish undressing both of us."

Yi Luowa looked up at him and teased, "Honey, your undressing speed is asured in seconds!"

"Am I really that fast?" Tong Airui straightened up, circled behind her, and reached for her buttons. "Let test this theory."

Yi Luowa grabbed his hand firmly. "Stop joking around! If you’ve got sothing to say, say it quickly—I really am busy."

"Soone handed feedback and ntioned that the reason they had the courage to give it was because of you."

Tong Airui perched on the edge of her desk, his long legs stretched out. Yi Luowa eyed his legs from thigh to calf before returning her gaze to his face.

"Yesterday, I went to the front office building to photocopy so docunts and heard people venting their frustrations, so I gave them a bit of advice."

"Were they venting or gossiping?" Tong Airui raised his brows at her silence. "Where there are lots of won, there’s bound to be drama. That’s why I don’t want them working in the sa space as us over here."

"I’m a woman too!"

"You’re not like other won..."

"What makes so different from them?"

Yi Luowa shot him a playful glare.

"Wife, you’re a woman, but you’re not like them. When they gather together, they gossip endlessly instead of focusing on work. It’s all noise, every day—it drives nuts."

"Honey, after analyzing your situation, I think splitting offices like this has more downsides than upsides. Plus, so people might bla for it. They could think I don’t let you interact with won because I’m monitoring you closely!"

"They wouldn’t dare!"

"Can you control what people think or say? Don’t delude yourself! I’ve got an idea for you: rge the offices into one. Your office will be on the third floor; allocate the first and second floors to the female team mbers. There aren’t many of them anyway—it’s manageable."

Tong Airui gave her a side-eye. "Why do I have to follow your suggestion?"

"Because I’m your wife!" Yi Luowa playfully patted his long leg. "To be honest, I’m a little wicked—they all want to see you every day, so let them! Let them watch us flaunt our love every day, rub it in their faces!"

Tong Airui looked at her with mild disapproval. "The application didn’t ntion them wanting to see every day. It said they wanted to improve work efficiency!"

Yi Luowa rolled her eyes and lowered her head to type on the keyboard.

"I’m still talking to you!" Tong Airui reached out to grab her hand.

"You don’t need your hands to talk. I have to finish proofreading this docunt—the Chief of Staff is waiting for it."

Tong Airui tilted his head toward the screen, picked up his phone, and called Chief Ji. "Chief Ji, the materials I requested yesterday—no rush on them anymore. You can provide them tomorrow."

"Understood."

After hearing Chief Ji’s response, Tong Airui put down his phone.

Three seconds later, Yi Luowa’s desk phone rang. She quickly picked up the receiver.

"Lieutenant Yi, the docunt doesn’t need to be rushed. You can finish it before you clock out."

Yi Luowa shot a disdainful glare at Tong Airui before loudly replying into the receiver, "Understood!"

Once she hung up, Tong Airui grinned and said, "Let’s resu our previous topic."

"Where were we?"

"On why they really want to work here."

Yi Luowa’s lips twitched slightly. "To improve work efficiency!"

Tong Airui stood up. "If that’s the reason, I can consider your suggestion."

Yi Luowa lightly bit her lip and squeezed out two words, "Thank you!"

"Wife..." Tong Airui draped an arm over her shoulder and asked with a smile, "Now that you’ve found your biological parents, isn’t it ti we plan a proper wedding?"

Yi Luowa’s smile grew wider—her little secret had been discovered.

"Let’s wait until Ziyan and Sangyu can be our flower children. Then we’ll do it. I want to walk down the aisle with one hand holding Uncle and the other holding Dad, having them both give away to you."

She burst out laughing at the idea of having Uncle and Dad both present at her wedding—it tickled her endlessly.

"Alright, then it’s settled!" Tong Airui playfully pinched her lightly, pulling back before she could react. "I’ve got actual work to do; I’m heading back."

Yi Luowa scoffed at him dismissively. "Try sneaking a pinch again, and I’ll chop off your hands!"

"Leave my hands alone. Next ti I pinch you, you can retaliate instead."

"What could I pinch back? You don’t even have a chest!" Yi Luowa puffed her cheeks and began rummaging on her desk for sothing to hit him with.

Fourth Master pointed to his "brother" with a grin and then slipped out the door.

Tong Airui left in such a rush that he almost ran into soone. Seeing the near collision, Fourth Master awkwardly cleared his throat. When did these two old n arrive?!
