Yi Luowa smiled and stroked Jack’s head. "Is this so-called throne of yours in the racing world, the Go world, or have I simply beco the queen of your fourth uncle alone?"

"You’ve always been my queen—there’s no need for Jack to say it!" Tong Airui laughed as he pulled Jack’s hand. "Don’t talk nonsense like that again. If others hear it, they’ll tease , saying your fourth uncle is afraid of his wife, understand?"

Jack was just about to respond when Monica hastily gave her son a look.

Jack imdiately closed his mouth.

Yi Luowa chuckled and ruffled Jack’s hair, then said to Tong Airui, "Kids’ words aren’t taken seriously, so no one would actually believe you’re afraid of your wife. Even if soone said so, everyone in our family would testify on your behalf. You’re not afraid of at all—on the contrary, you’re always bullying !"

"Haha, afraid or not, what’s there to worry about people saying it? In our family, being scared of your wife is a virtue!" Tong Yao laughed and joined in the banter.

Everyone burst into laughter, and just like that, the matter was brushed aside.

While the others let it pass easily, Tong Airui couldn’t. He had to get to the bottom of it.

Fourth Master chatted with everyone for a while and then exchanged a glance with Monica before the two disappeared into the study, one behind the other.

As soon as they entered, Tong Airui frowned and asked, "What’s going on? Did one of you calculate this?"

Monica smiled helplessly. "I was bored on the plane, so I did so calculations. It startled . Then I gave Yi Luowa’s birthday to Jack and asked him to calculate as well, and we got the sa results."

"Yi Luowa’s birthday isn’t accurate!" Tong Airui said, his brows furrowed. "So your calculations aren’t reliable. Whatever happens, don’t let Jack talk about this—if Danton hears it, it’ll affect the relationship between the siblings."

"We used Yi Luowa’s precise birth date and ti for the calculations."

Tong Airui gave him a sideways glance. "How do you know her exact birth date and ti?"

"Nancy’s birth date and ti can be found online. She took Yi Luowa’s identity, so her birthday and ti naturally belong to Yi Luowa."

"...Brother-in-law, I really don’t want Yi Luowa to be so sort of queen. That’s no blessing! Is there any way to break this?"

Monica pondered for a mont. "There’s one way."

"Then hurry up and tell !"

"Use a child to replace an adult. But which child would you be willing to sacrifice?"

"Use a child to replace an adult? I can’t bear to sacrifice either!"

Monica laughed and patted him on the shoulder. "Young man, you can’t have everything!"

Tong Airui rolled his eyes at him. "It’s because I don’t want to be selfish that I’m discussing it with you. Yi Luowa and the children are Xiawu people—they can’t take the throne of the Haotian people. Besides, Danton might be ill now, but Seventh Aunt is mixing up a cure for him. He’ll recover sooner or later. If Yi Luowa or the kids take his place, that would truly be selfish!"

"Who said Yi Luowa is Xiawu? She’s actually the second-in-line to inherit Haotian. Before Danton has any kids, Ziyan and Sangyu are the third and fourth in line to succeed!"

Tong Airui slamd his fist on the table. "That’s exactly what I’m most worried about. This won’t do. Absolutely not! I’ll find Danton a girlfriend right now so he can have a whole bunch of kids. I don’t believe it’ll ever co down to Yi Luowa, Ziyan, or Sangyu!"

Monica chuckled and shook his head. "Wait, let finish. Ziyan and Sangyu’s futures don’t lie in Haotian. But if you and Yi Luowa can’t have a child born on the exact sa date as Yi Luowa, then she’ll have to return to Haotian to take the throne."

Tong Airui glared at him. "That’s your solution? I’d still have to produce a child! Besides, I don’t plan to have more kids!"

"Then I’ve got nothing left. If you can’t do it, go ask Grandpa to calculate it again."

"You and Jack already calculated it. Would asking Grandpa be any different? Anyway, don’t say a word of this to anyone. I’ll figure it out myself. Trusting the heavens is less reliable than trusting myself."

"I trust you too!" Monica smiled. "You’re soone who can defy the heavens."

Tong Airui shot him a dirty look. "How can you still laugh in this situation?"

Monica quickly stifled his grin. "Alright, I won’t tease you anymore. Listen to your brother-in-law and plan on having another kid."

"No way!" Tong Airui stord out, fuming.

Monica watched him leave with a resigned smile. This is fate—how can he defy the heavens?

Later in the day, Danton and the others returned after a whole day of fun.

Tong Airui grabbed Danton and wouldn’t let go, incessantly asking him what kind of girl he liked.

Danton stared at him blankly. His brother-in-law is nuts! Conclusion: diagnosed!

Tong Airui smacked him on the back. "Why are you staring at like that? I’m asking you a question! What kind of girl do you like? Tell —I’ll make sure to find one you fancy."

Danton pursed his lips. "I don’t like anyone."

"Don’t tell you like n?" Tong Airui looked at him in disbelief.

Danton frowned slightly. "You’re the one who likes n! Stop asking—I don’t want a wife. Too much trouble!"

"Wives aren’t troubleso! They keep you company, talk with you, warm your bed, and most importantly, they give you babies..."

"Brother-in-law," Danton blinked. "I’m still so young—why are you talking about this now?"

"You’re not young! At your age, your sister and I were already married."

"My sister’s a girl... Wait, no! She was tricked by you! Otherwise, she wouldn’t have married you so early!" Danton scooted further away from him.

Tong Airui shot him a glance and moved closer. "I’m not telling you to get married right away—just find soone to hang out with and keep you company."

Danton stood up, glancing around. "Where’s my sister? Sis—my brother-in-law’s gone crazy! Co save !"

Yi Luowa pushed open Huo Li’s bedroom door and looked out. "Co in here. Stay away from him."

Danton dashed over instantly.

Tong Airui ran his hand through his hair in frustration. "Honey, your brother has issues. He’s highly likely to like n—you should talk to him."

"You’re the one who likes n!" Yi Luowa scolded him, glaring before pulling Danton into the room.

Fourth Master watched the door close and sank wearily onto the sofa. He found the mom, but now the problems ca rolling in. All he wanted was to live a peaceful life with his wife, but why had life turned out so uncooperative? It felt like nothing went according to his wishes.

Fourth Master sulked for the rest of the evening. When it was ti to go to bed, Yi Luowa asked him what was wrong, but he wouldn’t say. Instead, he displayed a look of utter despair for her to see.

Yi Luowa pressed her lips together and snuggled into his arms. It didn’t take long for Fourth Master to respond, and soon enough, Yi Luowa made a little sacrifice to coax him into a better mood.

"What’s bothering you?" Yi Luowa looked at him pitifully. "Is it because of what Jack said?"

"What did Jack say?" Tong Airui glanced at her sideways.

Yi Luowa pouted. "Oh right, what did Jack say? I’ve completely forgotten."

Tong Airui chuckled, reaching out to pinch her nose. "Go to bed early tonight. I reckon your parents will arrive early tomorrow."

"Give my nightgown—I’ll wear it to bed."

"Nope. You sleep better without it, and I hold you more comfortably that way." Tong Airui grinned and pulled her into his arms. "Sleep."

"..." Yi Luowa rolled her eyes but reluctantly snuggled deeper into his embrace, resolving to endure it just to keep him from sulking further.

That night, neither of them slept well. Tong Airui wrestled with what Jack and Monica had said, while Yi Luowa wasn’t too bothered by it—she was just excited at the thought of seeing her parents tomorrow.

Early next morning, as the sky began to lighten, Yi Luowa slipped out of Tong Airui’s embrace.

Tong Airui half-opened his eyes and looked at her. "Why are you up so early?"

"I feel like they’re getting closer to ." Yi Luowa lay across him and retrieved the nightgown he’d discarded on the floor. "Go back to sleep; I’ll go downstairs to check."

"If they’re coming, soone will let us know... Fine, I’ll get up too and go check with you." Tong Airui rubbed his eyes and sat up. "Honey, where’s my nightgown?"

"You didn’t wear it when you ca out of the bathroom. I’ll go get it for you in a mont."

As his wife went to fetch his nightgown, Fourth Master sat on the bed in a daze. His wife’s life was about to turn a new page starting today, and he should be happy for her. But why couldn’t he muster any joy?

"Ding-dong..." The doorbell rang, jolting Tong Airui awake. "Honey, soone’s at the door! Give the clothes!"

Yi Luowa erged with the clothes, looking anxious. "Could it be them already?"

"Don’t know. Let put on my clothes and check. You tidy up the stuff on the floor."
