Yuan Hang picked up the printed marriage report from the table and said with a smile, "Thanks for this. You know I don’t like writing, even the report’s been taken care of for ."
Tong Airui glanced at him, "It was Engineer Yi who forced to handle it. Otherwise, do you think I’d be serving you like this?"
Yuan Hang chuckled, "Then I’ll thank Engineer Yi, not you."
Tong Airui smirked, "Hurry up and get out of here. Go ho, pick up Kou’er, and get your marriage certificate sorted."
"Alright, I’m leaving." Yuan Hang laughed as he walked out the door, winding through several corridors until he arrived at Mi Chenxuan’s office.
Mi Chenxuan gave him a glance. "Finished?"
"Finished." Yuan Hang grinned, "My boss told to head ho early. Tonight, Uncle Eight, I’ll trouble you to accompany my boss back ho."
Mi Chenxuan pursed his lips, "You ca specifically to tell this? Got it, I know. You can leave now."
Feeling pleased, Yuan Hang returned to the Duke’s Mansion. As he stepped inside, he heard Yi Luowa speaking to everyone.
"Sis, today I’ll rely on you and Ai Ni. I’ll have Youyou tag along as your helper to buy everything on this list for ."
Raindrop took the list and smiled. "Look at you being polite. Kou’er is a Tong family mber, one of us. Buying things for her is only natural. How co you’re treating us so formally?"
Yi Luowa pursed her lips and chuckled. "Okay, I won’t be polite then."
"Isn’t Kou’er going with us? What if we buy everything and she doesn’t like it?" Ai Ni glanced at the list in her sister’s hand and asked.
"Kou’er has plans with Yuan Hang today to get their certificate. Let them handle the important stuff first. Starting tomorrow, they’ll have so ti off to handle the rest of their shopping themselves. As for everything on this list—it’s a gift from Tong Airui and to the two of them."
Raindrop looked over to Tong Yao, smiling as she said, "Mom, why do I see traces of you in Luowa? Back in the day, when my uncles got married, you were just like her—making sure everything was arranged."
Tong Yao nodded her head. "I also think Luowa is getting better and better at handling things! But when your uncles got married, you were still young. Can you really rember things from back then?"
"Mom, I even rember the first ti you visited the Duke’s Mansion. I was five years old back then, and to save from falling, you jumped off the carriage and caught , getting hurt while doing so." Raindrop smiled at Tong Yao. "Mom, all these years and you haven’t aged a bit. You look just like how you did the first ti I saw you."
"You always know how to sweet-talk!" Tong Yao smiled, glancing at Yi Luowa’s belly. "This ti I’m really becoming a grandmother, so how can I not feel old? When Dabao, Erbao, and Jacques, not to ntion Duoduo, were born, I still felt young. But this ti, the feeling is completely different."
"Having a true grandson is bound to feel different!" Yan Zi raised her gaze, noticing Yuan Hang standing at the door without coming in, and joked, "Yuan Hang, you’re back. Why didn’t you say sothing? Everyone’s been waiting for you!"
"Didn’t want to interrupt." Yuan Hang smiled as he walked in. "Kou’er isn’t here?"
"It’s the day for your certificate. Of course Kou’er has to dress beautifully." Tong Yao glanced upstairs and smiled. "Youyou and ngjie are helping her get ready. She should be coming down soon."
"Yuan Hang, in a bit, my mom and aunt will join you and Kou’er for the certificate." Yi Luowa smiled, pulling out her phone. "I’ll call them so they can hurry downstairs."
"Calling them down is fine, but as for the certificate, none of you need to co with us."
"It’s your big day—things should be lively!" Yi Luowa dialed Kou’er’s number, letting it ring three tis before hanging up.
Yuan Hang chuckled, "You’re not feeling well, so wait until we return, and then we’ll celebrate together. Tonight, we won’t eat at ho. I’ll treat everyone to dinner at a hotel."
"Did Tong Airui not tell you? He’s already booked the hotel. It’ll be all of us, plus the siblings and friends of you and Kou’er, celebrating together."
Yuan Hang pursed his lips tightly, unsure which lifeti’s fortune had allowed him to et such incredible employers who genuinely didn’t treat him and Kou’er like servants.
Kou’er descended the stairs in a red tulle dress, tugging at the hem awkwardly when she saw Yuan Hang. "Sister Luowa bought this for and insisted I wear it."
"Our little bride is feeling shy!" Tong Yao teased with a laugh. "Since Yuan Hang doesn’t want us to accompany them, we won’t. Let’s celebrate together this evening instead. Yuan Hang, you and Kou’er should head out now! Let ngjie and Xiaosi go along with you both."
"Alright, we’re heading out then." After bidding everyone goodbye, Yuan Hang left with Kou’er, ngjie, and Xiaosi.
