Yi Luowa and Connie exchanged a glance, then laughed and rushed over to Mi Chenxuan. Just as he was basking in the mont, two solid punches landed squarely on his chest.
Chen Xuan clutched his chest dramatically, pointed at the two of them, and exclaid in mock agony, "You—you’re trying to murder , your husband!"

Looking at the three breakfasts on the table, Mi Chenxuan asked suspiciously, "Where is everyone else?"
"There are only three-and-a-half people at ho right now..."
"Three-and-a-half people?" Mi Chenxuan looked curiously at Yi Luowa.
"Your fourth brother is practically invisible these days, so he only counts as half a person. Then there’s , Connie, and your fifth brother..." Yi Luowa briefly explained where everyone in the family was.

Mi Chenxuan rubbed the back of his head and pouted, "If I wanted handso guys, you wouldn’t be on the list. You know why? Because I’m way more handso than you are!"
Connie chuckled as she took the tray from the staff and placed it on the table. "Fifth brother, co eat."
Tong Aino sat down, tilted her head, and looked at the wolfing-down Mi Chenxuan. "You didn’t sneak back here, did you?"
"I ca back with Little Mule and Little Fish. If you’re curious, ask them. They’ll tell you if we sneaked back or not."
"Now that you’re back, just stay put and rest at ho. Don’t wander around, got it?"
Mi Chenxuan glanced at Tong Aino and said, "Even if you wanted to wander around, I couldn’t. Once I finish eating, I’m heading upstairs to sleep. These past months have drained ."
"It’s the exhaustion that builds results. You’re looking much sturdier than when you left." Yi Luowa sat down next to him and added another burger to his plate. "Any idea where you’ll be assigned?"
Mi Chenxuan shook his head. "No clue. No one’s told us a thing."
"Maybe you didn’t make the cut and got kicked out." Tong Aino joked, "If my brother doesn’t keep you, co work with , your fifth brother. We live the high life."
"Please, I’m an outstanding team mber. If I worked with you, it’d be a total waste of talent." Mi Chenxuan scoffed, then turned to Yi Luowa. "Fourth sister-in-law, what ti do you finish school? I’ll go pick you up."
"I’ll co ho by myself; you just rest at ho. When I get back, I’ll bring you so skincare products to help brighten your skin."
Mi Chenxuan shook his head adamantly. "Being a bit darker makes a man look tougher. Don’t buy any—if you do, I won’t use them."
Yi Luowa curled her lips. "Fine by —saves money."
"Stingy as ever! I saw online that you ranked third on the wealth list. Fourth sister-in-law, seriously, do you even know how much money you have?"
Yi Luowa shook her head. "Do you seem to know how much I have?"

Yi Luowa joked, "Little Lucky Star? Not ’sweeping star’ anymore?"
"Anyone who dares call you ’sweeping star,’ I’ll take care of them." Mi Chenxuan patted his waist but didn’t find anything there. He sighed in disappointnt, "When I left Special Task Unit One, they confiscated my gun."
