In the evening, Yi Luowa, afraid of being disciplined, quickly ran to Tong Aini’s room.

Connie, trying to avoid Tong Aino, followed right behind Yi Luowa and entered Tong Aini’s room.

Tong Aini looked at the two of them and laughed, "You both ca here, but I only have one bed. Are you forcing to go sleep at You Jia’s place?"

"Go ahead, isn’t this exactly what you want?" Yi Luowa lifted the blanket and climbed onto the bed.

Connie glanced at Tong Aini and quickly climbed on as well.

Tong Aini laughed, "If anything happens to , it’ll be all your fault."

"Try not to let anything happen. Good night!" Connie leaned against the headboard and said lazily.

Tong Aini put her hands on her hips and stared at her for a long ti, "With sparks flying everywhere, how can anyone control themselves? My sister-in-law is afraid of my brother disciplining her; what are you afraid of? My fifth brother isn’t going to sneak into your room at night. Go back and sleep."

"I’m not going back." Connie hugged the blanket and burrowed inside.

Yi Luowa kicked her under the blanket, "Old Five didn’t do anything to you, so why are you acting like this!"

"If he did sothing, then she probably wouldn’t be here," Tong Aini laughed and climbed onto the bed too. "Luckily this bed is big. Let’s make do for one night. Though, I bet my brother and fifth brother are going to hate for this."

"Hehe, even if they hate you, they wouldn’t dare say anything." Yi Luowa scooted over to the edge of the bed, and Connie scooted along with her.

Tong Aini smiled at Yi Luowa, "Stop scooting. Soon, you’re going to sleep in the middle."

"Afraid I’ll fall off?" Yi Luowa pouted, "I sleep very well these days."

"Who believes that? Your sleeping position isn’t any better than mine," Tong Aini frowned slightly, "Back when we were kids, every night we’d squeeze onto one big bed. Everyone was afraid that I’d fall off, so they’d always put in the middle. Back then, the house was so lively, but now... When we were eating today, I was really struck by it—we used to have dozens of family mbers, but now it’s just us left."

Connie pouted, "If you get married, there’ll be even fewer people."

"What can I do? We can’t let Ai Ni stay single her entire life, right?" Yi Luowa sighed.

"At least I still have you two," Tong Aini said with a hint of lancholy. "From now on, we’ll have to rely on you two to take care of Mom and Dad."

Connie grabbed Tong Aini’s hand, "Don’t suddenly get all sentintal! It’s not like getting married ans you won’t co ho. In the future, you’ll co back frequently to see Aunt and Uncle, won’t you?"

"None of us co back frequently, and with Ai Ni’s status, do you really expect her to co back often?" Yi Luowa pouted. "Talking about all this makes miss my second uncle. I’ve been so busy lately; I haven’t visited him in ages."

"Knock, knock..." Just as Yi Luowa finished speaking, there was a knock at the door.

Tong Aini glanced at Yi Luowa with a smile, "It must be my brother!"

"Just say I’m already asleep," Yi Luowa pulled the blanket over her face.

"Haha... Who is it?" Tong Aini laughed as she got off the bed.

"Ai Ni, is my wife with you?" Tong Airui asked from outside the door.

"Yes, but she said she’s already asleep," Tong Aini chuckled as she opened the door.

"Asleep already?" Tong Airui said hesitantly, "In that case, I’ll tell Second Uncle that Luowa will video call him tomorrow instead."

"Second Uncle wants to video call ?" Yi Luowa suddenly sat up.

Tong Aini grinned mischievously at Tong Airui—sotis, the smarter soone is, the more easily they can be tricked.

Tong Airui raised an eyebrow, "You’re already asleep, so I’ll let Second Uncle know it’ll be tomorrow."

"Don’t say that! I miss him," Yi Luowa jumped off the bed, slid into her slippers, and ran out the door.

Connie almost burst out laughing—she really ran off like a at bun thrown to a dog.

Tong Aini watched Yi Luowa leave the bedroom before firmly shutting the door, "Now it’s just us two. Finally so peace and quiet."

"Aren’t you going to You Jia’s room?" Connie teasingly covered her mouth.

"I want to, but with a hundred pairs of eyes watching in this house, it’s impossible," Tong Aini said with a laugh. "Honestly, I’m lucky I didn’t go to an all-girls’ school. Look at you, all conservative—what era do we live in now?"

Connie’s face imdiately turned bright red, "I’m scared."

"What about after you’re married?" Tong Aini climbed back onto the bed, annoyed. "You definitely got scared to death growing up listening to your etiquette teacher! My sister told when she gave birth to Jacques, the pain was so intense she wanted to die, but look at those videos online—those won seem to be enjoying it."

Connie stared at Tong Aini as if she were an alien, "Ai Ni, you’ve watched those videos too?"

"What’s the big deal? You can’t be totally clueless about this stuff," Tong Aini paused and slowly turned her head to look at her, "Wait, did I hear ’too’? Soone like you, so conservative, watched those videos?"

"I-I didn’t watch them carefully."

"I have so here. This ti you’re going to watch them carefully and learn well!" Tong Aini said, getting off the bed.

"Ai Ni, I’m not watching them!" Connie said, blushing furiously.

Tong Aini huffed, "If you don’t watch, then don’t stay in my room. If you want a safe haven here, you have to do as I say!"

Connie pursed her lips, "Ai Ni, what if I sold this story to the tabloids? How much do you think it’d go for?"

"Just selling my story wouldn’t make much. You’d have to write about Princess Raman Connie and Duke Xia Wu Aini exploring the entirety of human reproduction late at night," Tong Aini said with a mischievous grin, clutching a notebook as she climbed back into bed.

While they turned bright red discussing this, Yi Luowa was happily video chatting with her Second Uncle and Huo Li on the other side.

Yi Luowa heard that the amphibious truck had passed its underwater tests and laughed, "Second Uncle, then start mass production already, or Uncle will get impatient."

"We’re already transitioning to the production line. Your little workshop can only produce one or two, but it can’t handle mass orders," Yi Weiyang laughed. "Looks like I was shortsighted, always focusing on sports cars and race cars—if it wasn’t for Huo Li’s suggestion, I wouldn’t even have wanted this production line."

"Huo Li is surprisingly reliable sotis!" Yi Luowa laughed, looking at Huo Li.

Huo Li shot her a glare, "I’m reliable more often than you!"

Yi Luowa pouted, "If I say sothing nice about you, you get overconfident. Sure your health can keep up?"

Huo Li smiled and nodded, "My health’s better now than ever."

"Good, then I’ll stop worrying. Oh, Second Uncle, speaking of that trip I ntioned, it’s decided—I’ll pick you and Huo Li up on the 31st, and we’ll set off on the 1st. No issues, right?"

Yi Weiyang chuckled and nodded, "No issues."

Tong Airui handed Yi Luowa a glass of water, and she took a sip before continuing to chat with Huo Li. This ti, they started discussing what food to pack.

Tong Airui sat beside her, watching her excitedly plan like a child obsessed with snacks. He smiled and rubbed her head, "You and Huo Li make a list of all the food you want, and I’ll go buy it for you."

Yi Luowa tilted her head to dodge his hand, "Mind your image! Don’t be all touchy in front of my family."

"This girl!" Yi Weiyang laughed helplessly, "It’s getting late; you two should get so rest."

Yi Luowa pouted, "We haven’t finished talking yet!"

"We’ll chat more when we et on the 31st."

"Fine." Yi Luowa frowned and nodded reluctantly.

Once Yi Weiyang logged off, Yi Luowa imdiately tried to run.

Tong Airui had anticipated her move when she started looking around earlier and caught her after just two steps.

"Let go! I want to sleep!" Yi Luowa struggled to escape.

Tong Airui laughed and picked her up, "I’ll sleep with you."

"If you sleep with , how can I possibly sleep?" Yi Luowa flailed her legs and wailed, "Put down! Let go!"

"I promise not to touch you tonight," Tong Airui said as he lay her onto the bed, his hands braced on either side of her body, staring at her intently. "But the condition is that you behave. If you try to run again, I’ll have to punish you."

Yi Luowa pouted, turning her head to one side, "I want to sleep!"

"Alright, sleep," Tong Airui laughed, climbing into bed.

Surprisingly, he behaved himself after getting into bed, and only then did Yi Luowa close her eyes comfortably.

Less than an hour later, she woke up feeling uncomfortable, rubbed her eyes, and got out of bed.

"Where are you going?" Tong Airui asked suspiciously.

"Bathroom! Even while sleeping, you’re aware when I get up—seriously, I’m impressed!" she replied grumpily.

"Go quickly!" Tong Airui turned over and continued sleeping.

Yi Luowa pouted and went to the bathroom. After finishing up, she saw Tong Airui sleeping soundly facing inward. Wearing a mischievous grin, she tiptoed toward the door.

The door opened a crack, and Yi Luowa poked her head out.

Hmm!

What was she seeing!

Tong Aini walked out of her room—not to You Jia’s room but toward Tong Aino’s room instead.

Tong Aino opened the door, his face groggy, and frowned at his sister, "Are you sleepwalking?"

Tong Aini rolled her eyes at him, "Look at thinking about you in every possible way—I ca here to bring you so goodies. Connie is in my room, and I’ve almost finished indoctrinating her. The rest is up to you."

Tong Aino hesitated, "I’m not going!"

"Suit yourself!" Tong Aini huffed, walking toward You Jia’s room. She extended a finger to gently push, and the door opened.

Tong Aino chased after her, "Tong Aini! I’ll break your legs if you go in!"

Tong Aini angrily shoved him aside, "You idiot! I’m clearing the way for you!"

You Jia stepped out, "Fifth Brother, don’t worry. Ai Ni and I are just chatting under the blanket—nothing else."

Yi Luowa watched excitedly, only to feel a large hand land on her shoulder, "Escaping ans you’ll face punishnt. Did you forget my warning?"

Yi Luowa quickly covered his mouth, "Keep your voice down! Sothing big might happen tonight."

Tong Airui pulled her back inside and gently closed the door, "With your perspective, even if sothing happens, you wouldn’t see it. Co, I’ll give you a better view."

Yi Luowa grinned mischievously, "You didn’t install caras in their rooms, did you?"
