Ariel was walking out of her office when she saw Moon leaving already.

She wondered why she was leaving so fast. Was her brother not happy to see her?

She shrugged; it was none of her business. She was about to step out of her office when her office phone rang.

She hurried back and picked it up.

"Hello, Mr. Chaz's secretary on the line, how may I be of assistance?" She answered professionally.

"Co to my office, right now," Aiden's low voice sounded from the phone.

"Oh, yes, sir," Ariel frowned as she dropped the phone down.

Why was he calling through the custor's phone?

He had the company email which he normally used to contact and inform her. Why was he pretending to be a custor?

Whatever.

She turned and walked out of her office, heading to his.

She was about to knock on the door, but the door opened imdiately, surprising her.

"Co here, Ariel," Aiden ordered from inside the office.

Ariel took a deep breath and entered.

Aiden was sitting on his sofa, relaxing leisurely with his back resting against it, his legs spread.

"Co," his voice was very husky as he said that.

Ariel sighed and slowly started to walk toward him, she soon reached his front and paused.

"Mr. Chaz, you called . What can I do for you?" She asked professionally, ignoring the heated look he was giving her.

Aiden smirked at her, she was definitely still angry about what he did earlier, but he was going to apologize for it.

He tapped his thigh and said, "Sit "

Ariel took a step back and smiled at him.

"Mr. Chaz, you fail to rember that I'm just your secretary, what would people say if they saw us in such a compromising position? Please, refrain from asking to do such inadequate things in the office," She took another step back.

Aiden frowned.

He looked at her face and narrowed his eyes. "Co here, Ariel...it's a command...from your boss," He said seriously.

Ariel paused, contemplating whether to go or not.

In the end, he was the boss. She slowly walked back to him, stopping a foot away from him.

"Yes, Mr- Ah!" Before she could finish her response, Aiden grabbed her hand and dragged her down to his lap.

''Quiet, Mrs. Chaz," Aiden tightened his hold on her waist as he whispered beside her ear.

"I'm the boss..." He put a hand between her legs and spread her thighs apart, "At ho, at work, I'm the boss, Ariel...you do everything I say or get punished..." His voice went an octave lower, sending shivers down Ariel's spine.

"Aiden, let go, Aiden," She refused to fall for his tricky seduction.

Aiden leaned his chin on her shoulder, slightly releasing his hold on her waist. "I'm sorry about earlier, Ariel. I don't know what I was thinking about." His voice was apologetic.

Ariel stopped struggling for a second before she replied, "You were just being a jerk, Aiden. There's no excuse for that," She removed his hand from her waist and stood.

"Ariel, co on, I'm sorry," Aiden quickly stood and caught her hand, drawing her back to him.

"Let go, Aiden. I have work to do," She said with a straight face.

"You're cute," Aiden whispered.

Ariel held back her smile and frowned at him, "It's not working, Mr. Chaz, just give up already and let go,"

She pushed against his chest but he wouldn't budge.

"Do you want to kiss ?" Ariel asked seductively, wrapping her arm around his neck.

Aiden's ears perked up at that question, and he nodded like an excited puppy, "Yes." He replied.

Ariel smiled up at him, "Then co here baby," She tipped her toes and moved her face closer to his.

Aiden eagerly lowered his face to hers, but just when their lips were about to collide, Ariel sneaked out of his hold.

She stood beside the door and smirked at him, "That was the only way I could get you to release your hold on . This war? We'll fight it to the end. You don't mix work with pleasure, right? We'll stick to that," She winked and turned away from him.

Aiden was speechless; he'd been tricked, and sohow, it made him excited, he loved the idea of her resisting him, he loved the tension, and he couldn't wait to get her submissive once again in his arms.

Ariel was about to open the door but he wasn't done with her, he didn't want her to leave just yet, "Ariel-"

"Hello, Eva, go right in; Mr. Chaz was just asking to send you a reminder about your eting," Ariel smiled at Eva, who she saw in front of the door as she opened it.

Eva was surprised, she was wondering why Ariel was smiling at her so nicely.

She watched as Ariel walked past her, leaving the door open and walking to her office.

Whatever, she didn't care. She wasn't going to care about anything right now, she was finally eting Aiden, so every other thing could pause for all she cared.

She smoothed her hair and walked into the office, closing the door behind her.

Aiden was still standing in front of the sofa when Eva entered.

At that mont, he didn't feel like speaking with her anymore. He wanted to be with his wife.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Chaz, I'm here for the eting," Eva spoke softly, gently tucking her hair behind her back.

She had redone her makeup, and her red lipstick was a contrast to her very short, bright orange, short dress.

She tried to be subtle in her seduction, not wanting to co off as too desperate, that was why she chose a flay and short dress. It wasn't tight, but any small movent from her would reveal her smooth thighs.

Aiden felt a headache just by staring at Eva's makeup; he didn't realize that his company allowed such inappropriate makeup from his female employees.

"Sit down, Ms. Eva," He rubbed his forehead with his finger.

He saw Eva walking toward him and frowned, "What's the problem, Ms Eva?"

Eva paused and stared at him, "Um, you asked to sit," She pointed at the sofa behind him.

"Sit on the chair, Ms. Eva," He pointed to the chair behind her in front of his table.

"Oh, of course," Eva replied, feeling embarrassed.

She had thought that Aiden was inviting her to co and sit with him on the sofa, but she had misunderstood.

She lowered herself to the chair and waited for him to speak to her.

"Ms. Eva, I'm going to ask you so questions, do you promise to answer them honestly?" Aiden asked as he walked over to his chair.

He wasn't going to outrightly tell her what her mother did with Abbey; but, from her answers, he'd find out what he needed to know.

Eva felt very excited; Aiden wanted to ask her so personal questions, and she hoped asking her to be his girlfriend would be one of them.

"Yes, Mr. Chaz, I promise to answer every question honestly," She smiled sweetly at him.

Aiden nodded, he adjusted himself on his chair and leaned back on it, regarding her with scrutinizing eyes.

He was no kid; she claid to be best friends with Ariel yet they hardly hung out, she should have been aware that her best friend was married, but from the looks of things she was unaware of that which left questions in his mind as to what kind of friends don't tell each other things.

The relationship between them looked so shady, and discovering what Eva's mother was planning for soone who was supposed to be her daughter's best friend made it more shadier.

"You said that Ms. Dew is your best friend, right?" He questioned.

Eva's smile imdiately fell from her face.

Why was he asking about Ariel when he should be talking about her?

But she composed herself, she wouldn't want to appear evil in front of him. And the honest answers she promised to give? She was going to go back on her words.

She can't be honest as long as it has to do with Ariel.

"Yes, Mr. Chaz, we were best friends in high school, but after graduation, she suddenly disappeared, the next we saw each other was in your office," She replied.

"I see. That ans you know her parents, right? And she knows yours. Your parents must be close family friends, I presu?" He was tapping his pen slowly on top of his table.

Eva shifted uncomfortably in the chair, the slow taping sound of the pen made her feel like she was in an interrogation room.

"We...I, I've never t her parents, but she's t mine; I only associated with her in school, I never followed her ho, but she did sleepover at mine a few tis," Eva lied.

Her heart was beating fast, she never knew this eting would be one she dreaded.

Why was Aiden so interested in Ariel?

Did she say sothing to him?

She was at a loss, she didn't want to say too much and reveal what she wasn't supposed to reveal to him.

"Interesting." Aiden stared at Eva and observed her.

She no longer looked confident like she did when she walked in; it seed as if the topic was making her uncomfortable; if she was Ariel's best friend as claid, she should have been excited to talk about her.

Sothing was up.

"I'd like to et your mother, Ms. Eva; I'm sure she'd like to et my Grandma too, am I right?" He questioned.

Eva's face imdiately lit up, was he finally going to ask for her hand in marriage?

It must be; if not, why would he want her mother to et his Grandma?

'Finally, I'm going to beco Mrs. Chaz!'

"Yes, Mr. Chaz, she'd be pleased to et her," She replied.
