Ariel stood in front of the mirror, not believing her eyes.

She was wearing the dress she saw inside the box and she was currently staring down at the letter she found inside the box too.

It was in Aiden's handwriting, and it was a short ssage; "I love you, Ariel."

Ariel blushed as she read it out loud.

Could she be falling for Aiden? What if she did? How was she going to go about it? What now happens to their contract if they'd both fallen in love with each other?

She sighed and stared at herself in the mirror. Aiden had chosen a deep, rich blue (almost purple) silk, reminiscent of a clear night sky.

It was a floor-length, fitted, rmaid-cut gown with a daring, plunging neckline showcasing subtle cleavage.

A cinched, curbed waistline accentuated her figure, and a dramatic, flared train flowed behind her.

The back was a low, sweeping curve, exposing a hint of skin.

Ariel chuckled at how dramatic Aiden was in choosing the dress.

But, overall, it was a very stunning dress.

Ariel looked down and was already imagining how the intricate gold and diamond-cut embroidery adorning the hem and neckline.

She couldn't wait for him to see her in the dress he had chosen rightly, and it surprised her how he knew her size.

As she fixed on her silver stiletto, she thought back to how Aiden had suddenly run back into the mall just so he could go and buy this dress for her.

"Maybe, I'll reward you tonight, husband," She smirked.

Ariel was downstairs, and the mont she ca down the stairs, Gregory opened the door and walked in.

"Good evening, Ariel, I'm here to take you to the party," Gregory announced, unable to remove his eyes from Ariel's stunning beauty.

Ariel smiled, "Good evening, Greg, I'm ready." She walked over to him and he quickly held the door open for her to walk through.

Gregory opened the back door for Ariel, and he even helped her carry in her train. "Y-you look beautiful tonight, Mrs. Chaz," Gregory comnted.

Before Ariel could look at him for what he'd called her, he had already shut the door and walked over to the other side of the car.

Ariel sighed and silently stared at Gregory who started the car as if he hadn't said anything.

She let him be, to so extent...maybe it was ti she stopped refusing the title; after all, she was Mrs. Chaz; Aiden was her husband, so the title was rightfully hers.

After a while, they arrived at the event, like the last ti Aiden held a party, it was still at the sa place, the company's event hall.

"Please," Gregory opened the car for her with a slight bow.

"Thank you, Greg," Ariel stepped out of the car and Gregory imdiately held her hand.

"Umm, I'm sorry, but, please, let walk you up the stairs," Gregory persuaded.

Ariel let him; he led her up the stairs, and when they almost reached the door, soone walked through it; the mont the person saw Ariel, his face lit up in a wide smile.

"M'lady, how nice to behold your beauty," Collin walked up to Ariel, his eyes sparkling with interest as he took her in.

He was about to touch her when Gregory blocked him, "Keep your distance, Mr. Collin," he warned.

Collin was shocked for a while. He didn't recognize Gregory, but he sure looked familiar.

"It's okay, Greg, he's a friend," Ariel gently patted Gregory's arm and stepped away from him.

"But, the boss-"

"He'll understand, don't worry," Ariel smiled at him and turned to face Collin.

Gregory felt his throat tightening. Aiden had specifically instructed him to bring Ariel to him when she arrived. But he'd failed, he not only failed to bring her to him, but he had also left her in the hands of another man. He was dood, Aiden would surely have his head.

"Hello, Damsel," Collin did a small bow before he offered Ariel his hand to hold.

Ariel chuckled, "Don't be too dramatic, Collin. Didn't know I'd see you here," She held Collin's hand and he led her carefully towards the door.

"I'm not being dramatic; you look absolutely stunning, and as for seeing here, I was invited by Mr. Chaz, and I was definitely looking forward to seeing you, and I'm not disappointed at all," Collin said with a chuckle.

Ariel shook her head and smiled, Collin and his chivalry never ceased to amaze her.

Ariel took a deep breath as Collin opened the door for her; she didn't know what to expect.

However, the mont she entered, she felt all eyes on her; her body imdiately beca tensed, and she would have fallen on her feet if Collin wasn't holding her.

"Relax, princess, they're just admiring us as a couple," Collin winked at her.

Ariel narrowed her eyes at him. "Easy there soldier, I didn't say yes," She smiled, happy that Collin was trying to lighten the mood.

"Oh, you will, Princess, you will," Collin replied confidently, leading Ariel toward his table at the corner of the large decorated hall.

"Please, sit," He gently drew out a seat for her.

"Thank you," Ariel carefully moved her dress train to the side and lowered herself on the chair.

"Wine or juice?" Collin asked.

"Huh, oh...juice please," She nodded.

Ariel didn't want to make a fool of herself in this event by getting drunk, she knew how she'd get if she took it.

"A glass of juice coming right up," Collin replied and imdiately left to get it.

Ariel sighed. She could still feel people's eyes on her, and she wished she had Jess or Jewel by her side; at least chatting with them would make her more relaxed and take her mind away from the crowd.

She subtly searched her front for Aiden, but he was nowhere to be found; she couldn't see any familiar face, not even Eva and her minions.

She guessed they'd be behind her, and she wasn't about to start twisting her neck behind her just to check for anyone. It seed like Collin was going to be her only companion for the night; she wasn't expecting Aiden to walk up to her; he wouldn't; he'd like to keep her relationship with him hidden, and she wasn't complaining about that.

Sowhere in the large hall, Moon was clinging to Aiden's hand as he spoke to soone.

Jess and Ken were standing beside them too, and it looked like they were in so kind of heated business conversation because Aiden didn't notice when the door opened and two people walked in, he only realized that soone had co into the hall when the man he was speaking to suddenly zoned out and was staring at the entrance.

"Mr. Burrington?" Aiden called, but the man didn't reply; he just kept staring at the entrance.

Aiden exchanged a confused look with Ken, he was about to call the man again when Moon suddenly gasped.

"Oh wow! Look, it's Ariel and Collin. She's really sothing, Aiden, it's so easy for her to throw herself from one man to another," Moon glanced at Ken as she said that.

Jess glared daggers at Moon, threatening her with her eyes.

Moon wanted to continue, but she felt like Jess was ready to throw a slap her way so she decided to keep quiet, looking snide.

Everyone imdiately snapped their eyes to the entrance, and that's when they saw Collin walking in with Ariel in his arms.

Aiden imdiately stepped forward but Jess held him back, "Relax, people are watching," she whispered.

Aiden gritted his teeth and stepped back; he clenched his fists beside him; he was regretting why he hadn't waited for her; he should have been the one holding her as she stepped in that majestic dress. He was jealous, and he didn't deny it.

Ken stared at Ariel, his heart thudding. She got more beautiful as the day went by, and he couldn't help but fall deeper in love with her.

"Ahem, so, Mr. Burrington, we'd like to fix the next eting on a Monday, hopefully, your third wife doesn't give birth to another baby on that day," Ken comnted with a little smile.

Mr. Burrington blinked; he slowly looked away from Ariel, who was now sitting down, "Ah, no, she's not due till next month," He chuckled.

Jess widened her eyes in disbelief; the man wasn't joking; he really did have a third wife!

"It's fixed then; see you soon, Burrington," Aiden curtly nodded before he imdiately walked away from them, heading toward Ariel.

"Aiden-"

"You better fucking stay here, Sun," Jess gripped Moon's hand, purposely digging her nails into her arm.

"Ouch, let go, and, it's Moon," Moon snatched her hand away from Jess.

Jess shrugged, "I don't care, I'd call you whatever I want, Sun. Want a drink, handso?" She turned to Ken and asked.

Ken nodded, absent-minded.

"Be right back," Jess said and left.

Moon saw that it was just she and Ken now, it was the best ti to conclude their plan.

"Hey, are you ready to claim your woman?" Moon catwalked toward him and placed her perfectly manicured nails on his shoulder.

Ken slowly looked at her, his face was determined as he nodded. "Let's get this over with."

Moon smiled evilly as she heard his reply.
