"Ariel... I... I'm very sorry, my dear, I never thought... oh my God, I still can't believe it. I'm sorry for ever believing Moon. Please, forgive . Had I known you were innocent all these while, I wouldn't have asked her to marry Aiden," Grandma Nari was holding Ariel's hand in front of the hall, tears staining her red cheeks from crying.

Ariel sighed, "It's alright, Grandma, I've told you before," She placed a hand on Grandma Nari's shoulder, "I don't bla you for anything, you didn't know better and were just trying to do what you do was best, even when I returned, you didn't hurry to judge, and that makes believe that you still had faith in my sowhere in your hearts," She hugged the old woman.

"It's alright, Grandma, we're alright now, we're alright," Ariel kissed her cheek.

"But, my Grandson, he's never going to forgive . I gave him trouble when all he needed was peace; how would Aiden ever look at the sa way? He doesn't even want in his ho," Grandma Nari sobbed.

"That's not true," Aiden said behind her.

Ariel smiles down at the old woman, "Did you hear that?" She gently directed Grandma Nari so she faced Aiden.

"Oh, Aiden... I'm so sorry, I'm-"

"Co here, you old lady," Aiden hugged Grandma Nari, chuckling.

Grandma Nari hugged him tightly, smiling happily, "I'm really sorry, Aiden. I've not been the best support when you needed the most, but from now I promise I'll make up for all I've done; just give you another chance to be the sweetest Grandma, please," She spoke in a muffled voice as he face was still buried in Aiden's chest.

Ariel smiled; her heart lted as she watched them; there was no way Aiden wouldn't forgive the cute old lady; she was just like a little kid who had recognized her mistakes and was ready to do right.

"I forgive you, Grandma, you're literally the mother I never had," Aiden kissed her head, patting her back.

"Aww, would you look at that, the old lady finally realizes her bad decisions," Lin spoke behind them.

Aiden chuckled, "Leave her alone, Lin; we've all made bad decisions at so point in our lives," He said.

Lin sighed, "Yeah, we have. So... how about Jess? You know, so mad decisions can make us lose things that can never be replaced," She shrugged, walking over to Ariel, "Hi, Ariel, you shined tonight, I love it," She winked at her.

Ariel giggled, "She had it easy, didn't want to ruin Dad's birthday," She replied.

Lin scoffed, "Ruin? Nah, you didn't; I think that old man loved it; he's in there being a social butterfly and attending to all his guests as if nothing happened, so it's cool; everything went well," She inford.

Ariel was about to say sothing when Grandma Nari held her hand, "Ariel, can you help search for Jessica? I know what I'm asking is so big of a favor, but you're the only one who can reach out to her, and she would listen; she loved you like a sister, please; I can't live peacefully knowing I did my grandchild wrong," Grandma Nari pleaded.

Ariel glanced at Aiden, who slowly nodded at her, "Okay, Grandma, but I really do not know how to contact her; I've tried reaching out to her number as I returned, but it doesn't exist anymore," She explained.

Grandma Nari looked so heartbroken; she recalled how hurt Jess looked that night. She had thoughtlessly asked her to leave the family; she had been really heartless to that poor girl.

"Oh, well, it's okay; maybe I can help her out, just because I want this family to return back to how it used to be now that the witch is gone," Lin suggested.

Grandma Nari looked at Lin; truly, she had been the only one who kept reminding her that the family was breaking apart. Grandma Nari had thought that Lin was doing it because she didn't like Moon, but now, she was grateful to her; she understood everything.

"Thank you, Lin," Granma Nari held her hand, smiling apologetically.

"I'm taking Ariel ho, Grandma; well, see you tomorrow," Aiden kissed her cheek one more ti before taking Ariel's hand.

"I think I'll be leaving too, we better leave the party for you old folks to enjoy," Lin said and waved at Grandma Nari.

Grandma Nari nodded, "Goodnight, drive safe," She waved at them.

Lin nodded, and together, she walked away with Aiden and Ariel.

"Whis that leaning on my car?" Lin asked Ariel as they got closer to where they had parked their cars.

Ariel looked over and saw Logan casually leaning on Lin's car, which was parked beside theirs.

"Oh, that's Logan, my friend," Ariel replied.

"Hmm," Lin humd, frowning.

They reached their car, and Aiden went to open the door for Ariel.

"Let just say goodbye to Logan," She told him and walked toward Lin's car.

Aiden frowned; he knew this would happen; he had wanted to pretend like he didn't see Logan; even though it was now known that Arien was his wife, he still didn't want Logan getting close to her. He didn't like him and he wasn't planning to change that anyti soon.

He trailed behind her, ready to snatch her back to his side if Logan behaved like, well, like Logan.

Lin was standing in front of the car, quietly watching Logan, who was still leaning on her door. She was waiting for him to acknowledge the presence of the owner of the car, but it seed like he was lost in whatever he was doing on his phone.

"Hey, why are you standing here, you don't want to go ho?" Ariel asked when she t Lin, still standing in front of her car.

Lin sighed, "It's him, he's not moving," She pointed to Logan.

Ariel smiled, "Co on, let's get ho out of your way," She took Lin's hand and led her toward Logan.

"Hey, handso, what's keeping you so busy?" Ariel tapped Logan's arm.

Logan blinked and looked away from his phone to see who was touching him; he saw Ariel smiling at him and another shorter woman who wasn't smiling at him; she looked like he had wronged her. The breeze was gently moving her short hair around, exposing her slim face.

"Ah, I'm sorry, I was just checking in with my team. You look beautiful tonight, by the way. And I'm glad you did what you did tonight; you've co so far, Ariel, and I'm proud of you," He smiled at her.

Ariel nodded, "Thank you, Logan. You've been the greatest support for the past three years of my life," She said.

Logan was about to touch Ariel's hand when Lin slapped it away.

"Huh?" Logan turned to look at her.

Ariel chuckled, "My bad, I'm sorry. This is my sister-in-law, Lin Chaz. She's a doctor too," Ariel introduced.

Logan slowly nodded, "Hi, I'm Logan, I'm sorry for ignoring you, I just wanted to-"

"I just want you to step away from my car," Lin smiled at him.

"Oh? I'm sorry," Logan leaned away from the car and stood beside Ariel.

He couldn't help feeling threatened by Lin; she didn't say it, but he knew she was angry, and provoking her more wouldn't end well for him.

"Better, see you later, Ariel, stay away from n that are not Aiden, love you, bye," Lin kissed Ariel's cheek before entering her car and driving away.

"Um, do you think I pissed her off? Definitely, I did. I an, she's been standing there and looking at , but I just ignored her while leaning on her car; I'd be pissed, too," Logan sighed.

Ariel patted his shoulder, " It's okay; Lin is quite an easy-going lady; she's just very expressive," She inford.

Logan nodded, "Are you leaving already?" He questioned.

"Yes, she is. Are you planning on taking her anywhere?" Aiden walked up behind Ariel and wrapped a hand around her waist, looking Logan squarely in the eyes.

"Ugh, the husband cos," Logan muttered.

"You must feel very proud of yourself tonight, right? Having a woman who stands by your side like Ariel," Logan asked.

Aiden shrugged, "Absolutely, jealous?" He raised a brow.

Logan nodded, looking over at Ariel, "I'm jealous, Aiden; I've always dreamt of being the one for her, but you know? I always knew I wouldn't be; she always refused , and even when she didn't say it, I knew she had soone she loved, soone she was waiting on. So, don't worry, bro, I'm not a competitor, I'll never win against you, and I'm damn angry about that. It makes hate you so much," Logan confessed.

"It's mutual," Aiden offered Logan a handshake.

"To enmity," Logan shook Aiden's hand.

Ariel couldn't help laughing at their goofiness.

"You guys are so childish," She rolled her eyes.

"What's going on? What are we missing?" Ken asked, walking over to them with Jasper beside him.

Ariel turned to speak to him but paused in shock when she saw the person standing behind Japser.

"Mike!" She scread and ran toward him, hugging him tightly.
