"I asked a question, Moon," Aiden started to walk toward the two won.
Moon tightened her hand on Grandma Nari's arm, moving behind her. "Well, I just knew, Aiden, how else did she give birth to that kid?"
"He's my son, Moon! Mind your fucking words!" He moved faster, trying to get her out from behind Grandma Nari.
"Aiden!" Grandma Nari held his hand, glaring at him.
"Enough!" She frowned.
She stepped back, dragging Moon with her.
Aiden was boiling, he wished he could just strangle Moon and end all this chaos.
"Aiden, I did see the picture of Ariel and another man; she broke my trust; why are you still supporting her?" Grandma Nari questioned.
Aiden scoffed, "You still believe every lie that idiot behind you spews; it baffles how you really believe in your heart that I'm going to marry her; I'd rather cut off my balls than marry her," He chuckled humorlessly.
Grandma Nari gasped, "Aiden Chaz, you've been disrespectful to our family. I won't let you bring a child from another bloodline into our family; as a matter of fact, I will file for your divorce myself; you can be with an unfaithful woman. Moon is the person you're going to marry, just like I chose your first wife, I'll give you the second one, too. Candy is your child, our heir, she deserves to grow with her complete family, in the presence of her parents, not only in the presence of one. Aiden Chaz, it's about ti you take responsibility as the responsible man you are and look after your family," She breathed harshly, angry and out of breath.
Aiden slowly shook his head, "You just keep losing my respect, Grandma," He clicked his tongue.
Moon frowned, she wanted to speak but Aiden raised his hand, stopping her.
"Quiet, Moon. I don't want to hear your annoying voice right now," He slowly walked up to Grandma Nari and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, "Let make sothing clear; the fact that I suddenly appear in your house doesn't give you the right to dictate my life, you have no right. You want to file for my divorce?" He chuckled.
"Go ahead, you're less busy these days anyway. About disrespecting the family...you know I no longer give a shit about it; I don't relate with deranged people, I'm not a part of your family, as long as she's still in it," He slowly walked over to Moon, a condescending look on his face.
"You and I know that Jace is my son; you're just trying to ruin sothing beautiful like you always do. Unfortunately, people are getting wiser and seeing you for who you are. So, don't try too hard this ti; it won't work," He patted her shoulder and went over to the sofa to sit down, crossing his leg over the other.
Grandma Nari frowned; she thought he would angrily leave, but sitting down ant he was really out for trouble.
Moon gulped quietly; her nerves were all over the place, and she was just forcing herself to look strong and calm. She was scared that Ariek might have told Aiden about what happened three years ago, she knew Ariel had no evidence against her, but it would be hard to convince Aiden that he was innocent, he had never confronted her this way in the past three years, it scared her, for it would take only a miracle to make him not to send her out of the family, or worse, jail.
She stared at Aiden and prayed it wasn't what she was thinking; it shouldn't end like this.
"Speaking of Heirs, Jace is a few months older than Candy, which makes him the perfect first heir to . I don't care if you make her daughter yours. My point is," He pointed to Moon, "Ariel never cheated on , and I need you to explain how you knew about the picture from three years ago; I've never shown it to anyone; even if I did, it'll never be you. So, tell , how did you find out? Was Jessica right all along?" His narrowed eyes pinned her down on the spot, making Moon internally squirm.
Moon blinked rapidly, her heart was beating crazily, her pains sweaty. She thought she was strong enough to remain unphased if she was ever faced with the topic, but when she was actually faced with it, she slowly started to realize what big of a cri she'd committed, it was bought to get her a life sentence in jail because she had practically ordered people to kill innocent humans.
However, in her defense, she did it for love.
"I-I didn't know about it three years ago, I found out about a year ago. I had seen you looking so lost in your phone and had secretly checked your phone afterward; that's how I found the picture of Ariel on the bed with another man," Moon defended.
Aiden was pissed, "You fucking checked my phone?!" He bolted up from the bed.
Moon took cautious steps back, glancing at Grandma Nari.
Grandma Nari slowly walked up to him and held his hands, "You're being angry for the wrong reason and at the wrong person, Aiden. You should quickly hurry up and file for a divorce. Ariel is not the kind of woman any man shouldn't marry, I'm so sorry for forcing
her You to marry marry her-"
"No, Grandma, that was the best thing you've ever done for , bringing Ariel into my life. I'll be forever grateful for that. However, I would like you to do the right thing by sending Moon away from this family. I don't want to deal with her directly unless you let it get to that level. Don't make it hard on yourself; don't let give you two options: either choose your family or . If you pick her, I'm leaving this country, and never coming back; I'll give you ti to think about that. In the anti, keep her away from , I'm never marrying an idiot," Aiden tapped her shoulder and turned away from them.
"Aiden, we need to talk. Don't go," Grandma Nari moved toward Aiden, who was already leaving the house.
"Let him go," Lin appeared behind Grandma Nari and held her from going to Aiden.
"You both have already stressed him enough," She looked over to Moon. Who was standing by the side shedding her stupid crocodile tears.
"You really think I'm stressing my grandson? I just want the best for him," Granmd Nari's voice was shaky, her eyes becoming misty.
Lin nodded, "Well, his best is clearly not Moon. So, your best is not good enough for him; as a matter of fact, your best is damaging him, aft smart before you lose him for real, as he said. You have to choose between keeping a criminal as your child who isn't even our bloodline, or losing your only grandson. It's your choice," She shrugged and released Grandma Nari's arm.
"But I promised Moon's parents that I'll take care of their child as kine if anything ever happened to them," Grandma Nari muttered.
Lin chuckled, "Well, sotis we have to break a promise to save ourselves from losing important things. It's your call Grandma, a flimsy promise over your only Grandson, chose wisely, that she-devil over there isn't worth the comparison. I believe Aiden, if he says Ariel didn't cheat then it ans she didn't. Moon is a liar and her lies will be discovered soon,"
"Lin, don't be so an, I'm your family," Moon said in a sob.
Lin smiled, "Yes, Moon, you were, not anymore. Goodwick enjoying the chaos you've caused,"
Moon suddenly wiped the tears off her face. Her face suddenly changed, and she marched over to Grandma Nari.
"Don't worry, Grandma; I won't let Aiden make the sa mistake twice; I'm going to convince him. Don't be sad, you're not losing him or ," Moon stood in front of the old woman and smiled at her, gently patting her upper arm.
Grandma Nari nodded, "Please do; I believe Aiden still has a soft spot for you. Speak to him both and he'll listen to you," She advised.
Moon nodded, she sent Lin a slide look before she rushed out of the house.
Things were starting to get out of hand for her, so she decided to take a drastic asure, and this ti, she was doing it for real.
She was going to trail Aiden and follow him ho or wherever he was going; she would make sure to make him believe that she had really thought of everything and was ready for what he wanted.
When she got the opportunity, she would do just the sa thing she did three years ago, but this ti, instead of making a stupid fake video of her and him, she would make a real one, and this ti, she was really going to carry his real baby.
There was no way she was going to get sent away from this family. No fucking way!
