He Jitang’s eyes were burning, he observed her appearance today.

The diamond was so bright it hurt his eyes!
He Jitang laughed at himself, lightly introduced her, "This is Yingzi!"
Yingzi got herself a status, feeling quite empowered.
She leaned beside He Jitang and said with so reservedness, "You must be Ms. Su! I’ve often heard Jitang speak of you."
Su Ruanruan smiled faintly.
She sensed Yingzi’s provocation, yet she didn’t care.
He Jitang was not her man, it’s not her place to be jealous, she just felt offended.
Her expression was indifferent, which made He Jitang angry.
He deliberately wanted Su Ruanruan to be jealous, so he purposely treated Yingzi well. He wrapped his arm around Yingzi’s shoulder and said to Su Ruanruan, "You left so things in the other house, find a ti to retrieve them."
Yingzi then said, "Ci’an happens to be out, it’s quite fitting for Ms. Su to go over now!"
He Jitang even agreed.
He asked Su Ruanruan, "Fourth sister’s opinion?"
Beside them, Mrs. Zhou was quite angry.
He Jitang used to admire Ruanruan, even if he couldn’t have her, he shouldn’t use sothing so insignificant to insult her!
Mrs. Zhou spoke out for justice.
She sneered, "Ruanruan is the Old Madam’s recognized daughter, and over there at He Three’s she is considered a part of the family, now that there’s a beauty by He Three’s side, there’s no room for his sister’s luggage?"
Su Ruanruan patted her hand, "Sister Zhou, I was planning to go get them anyway."
Mrs. Zhou was still indignant for her.
She said, "How much have you sacrificed for Ci’an? Is it less than what this woman who just kept his bed last night offered?"
Mrs. Zhou, being of esteed status, naturally dared to confront He Jitang.
He Jitang would also tolerate a bit due to the Zhou Family’s position.
Yet Yingzi did not know Mrs. Zhou’s status, she retorted, "So what if she’s recognized by the family, if she’s at odds with Jitang, she deserves to be driven out."

He Jitang gently patted her shoulder, "Good girl!"

He too thought Yingzi deserved a slap—
He could spoil her, but he did not like won acting on their own... except for his fourth sister.
With his comfort, Yingzi beca even more fragile, wishing he’d imdiately stand up for her and slap Mrs. Zhou.

He Jitang just lightly said, "My matter, I’ll handle it."
Mrs. Zhou was disappointed in him, she said, "Since you’ve made up your mind, then I’ll accompany Ruanruan to retrieve everything."
With an elder sister’s stance, she held Su Ruanruan’s hand, breaking ties with He Jitang.
She declared, "From now on, Ruanruan is the Old Madam’s daughter, Ci’an’s aunt, but no longer He Three’s fourth sister, she won’t call He Three third brother anymore!"
He Jitang’s gaze fixed on Su Ruanruan.
He softly asked, "Is that what you an too?"
Su Ruanruan smiled faintly, and said, "Aren’t you just trying to humiliate today? You found a woman similar to to toy with, isn’t that humiliation? He Jitang, all your affections are nothing but your self-indulgence!"
He Jitang too smiled.
He said, "Not even calling third brother, looks like you’ve really decided to sever ties with ."
Su Ruanruan had nothing to say.
He Jitang took a deep breath.
He felt a pain in his chest, as if being cut by a knife.
He smiled again, and softly said, "Alright! Then I’ll go by Ms. Su’s wishes."
