Qin Banruo pressed her lips together, her expression turning serious. She sat up straight and responded solemnly:
“President Ye, rest assured. I’ve already followed your instructions and listed this property with an agency. However, selling a luxury ho like this will take ti. That said, I’ll do my best to handle the shares of your other companies within three days.”
“This way, the second tranche of 200 million can be deposited into Hanhai Energy. The funds from both the investnt firm and your personal account will allow you to increase your stake in Hanhai slightly through Banlan Investnt. Zhou Qiao and Mai Jia’s dividend shares will be marginally reduced.”
Ye Chen nodded indifferently. “Got it.”
In reality, whether it was Hanhai Energy, Unicorn Automobiles, or Banlan Investnt, they were all companies he had founded and wholly owned. The others were just past investnts—selling them off didn’t bother him.

He led her to the kitchen door and pointed at Bai Xiyan, who was busy cooking.

Ye Chen sat back on the sofa and said calmly:
“You know why Bai Xiyi and I divorced, right?”
“She was too proud. She couldn’t give the warmth of a family.”
“But Xiyan can. Look at her—busy cooking. Could you ever guess she graduated from Fudan and studied at Harvard Law?”

“But I can do all that too! I can cook, do laundry, play gas with you—hell, I can even have your children!”
“So why? Why choose your sister-in-law over ?”

He sighed.
“Why must you do this?”

“Because I refuse to accept it!”
“In this life, I, Qin Banruo, have never considered myself inferior to any woman! In talent, I surpass your ex-wife Bai Xiyi and am no less than Bai Xiyan!”
