Chapter 1. Three Months After Divorce, the Ex-Wife Showed Up!

Three months after the divorce, Bai Xiyi finally felt like she had moved on.

She put on flawless makeup, wore her prettiest JK outfit, just like when she first t Ye Chen, and drove her Ferrari sports car to what was once their love nest.

She stepped out of the car and turned on her livestream.

“Wow! Xiyi looks stunning today!”

“Xiyi seems to be in a good mood!”

“You finally look like you’ve moved on!”

“That’s not easy, congratulations!”

“Huh? Isn’t this the neighborhood where you used to live with your ex-husband? Why are you back here?”

In front of the cara, Bai Xiyi smiled brightly.

“Because I feel like I’ve completely moved on, so I decided to co back and pick up a few things I left behind last ti. It’s ti to say goodbye to the past and welco a new life.”

Her sweet smile filled the screen as supportive comnts flooded in.

“That’s amazing! You’re doing the right thing!”

“Go, Xiyi! You’re the prettiest!”

“Xiyi, I’d love to take over, do I still have a chance?”

“Xiyi is even more beautiful in person, I’ve seen her before.”

“Go ahead, Xiyi! Be your own queen from now on and leave the past behind!”

Amid the encouragent, Bai Xiyi strode confidently into the neighborhood and stepped into the elevator.

“Ding!”

The elevator doors opened. She walked out and stared at the familiar yet unfamiliar door. Taking a deep breath, she pressed her finger against the fingerprint lock.

“You got this!”

“Take what’s yours and say goodbye to the past!”

She clenched her fist, psyching herself up, then pushed the door open.

Inside, the furnishings remained unchanged, still neat and tidy.

But Bai Xiyi’s nose twitched, and her expression darkened.

“There’s another woman’s scent in here!”

“It’s only been three months since the divorce, and he’s already moved on? What a scumbag!”

She fud silently.

Her livestream fans quickly joined in, fueling her anger.

“Yeah! What a jerk!”

“Xiyi, forget about marriage, being a queen is way better!”

“A scumbag like him deserves to be punished!”

“Only three months after the divorce, and he’s already with soone else? And you actually considered getting back together with him?”

“Pfft, disgusting!”

With a dark expression, Bai Xiyi walked into the bedroom.

The only consolation was that nobody was ho.

“Hmph! That other woman is lucky she’s not here, otherwise, I’d have given her a piece of my mind! Picking up my leftovers!”

Muttering under her breath, her eyes darted around mischievously.

A few seconds later, a sly smile crept onto her face.

“Heh! Since I’m here, I might as well make sure that scumbag doesn’t have an easy ti. Let’s set a little trap!”

Grinning, she plucked two strands of her newly dyed gray hair and placed them on the pillow.

Not satisfied, she pulled out a few more strands and scattered them on the sofa and the bathroom sink.

“Perfect!”

“Now that scumbag won’t be able to talk his way out of this!”

“Xiyi, this is genius! But if it were , I’d leave a pair of panties under the pillow too!”

“Panties are too obvious, it doesn’t make sense. But you could leave a hair tie or ‘accidentally’ drop an earring in a corner.”

“Now that’s a great idea!”

Reading the comnts, Bai Xiyi’s beautiful face lit up with excitent.

“Thanks for the tip, girls! Today, I’m going all out, I’ll ‘lose’ an earring in the gap under the pillow.”

“Oh, and I’ll toss a hair tie into the sofa crevice too.”

“The more things I leave behind, the higher the chance that woman notices sothing!”

“Hahaha!”

“This is pure genius!”

As she set up her little traps, her expression turned mischievous and gleeful.

“Haha! Xiyi’s turning evil!”

“This is exactly how you treat a scumbag!”

“I hope that couple cos back soon, I want to see them fight!”

“If they do co back, Xiyi can improvise and make things even worse!”

The livestream chat buzzed with laughter.

Bai Xiyi’s mood lifted even further.

After finishing her setup, she sniffed.

“Well, watching the drama unfold would be boring. I don’t want anything to do with him anymore.”

“I’ll just grab my things and leave, then treat myself to a hot spring and spa day, sounds perfect.”

Muttering to herself, she walked back into the bedroom.

She pulled open a drawer and saw two boxes inside. Pressing her lips together, she picked up one of them, a jewelry case.

After a mont of silence, she opened it.

Inside was a collection of luxury-brand jewelry.

Flipping through the pieces, a faint smile returned to her face.

“At least he has so conscience, all my jewelry is still here, not a single piece missing.”

Then, her gaze shifted to the other jewelry box.

“Hmph! I wonder what he bought for that woman!”

Unable to resist, she reached out and slowly opened the second box.

But the mont she lifted the lid, a flash of red caught her eye, and her expression froze.

“A… marriage certificate?”

“Didn’t we already get divorced? Shouldn’t this be a divorce certificate by now?”

“So… three months after our divorce, he’s already remarried?”

Her voice dropped to a whisper as her face darkened, her eyes burning with fury.

“That scumbag!”

“Not only did he move on, but he remarried this fast?”

The livestream chat exploded instantly.

“Holy crap! This is next-level scumbag behavior!”

“So he was already cheating before the divorce, right?”

“Ugh! Xiyi was too kind, she should’ve taken everything from him!”

“How can soone be this terrible?”

“Xiyi, open the certificate! Let’s see who he married, she can’t possibly be prettier than you!”

“But if she’s not as pretty as Xiyi, wouldn’t that make it even worse?”

“Well… I have no words.”
