Chapter 176: Chapter 176

Nicholas shoved at Ezra’s chest, his jaw tightening as he glared at him. "Talk about what, Ezra? How you conveniently ignored

when you were with your date but suddenly give a damn when I’m busy with soone else?"

Ezra didn’t budge, his body pressed firmly against Nicholas’, trapping him against the cold tiled wall. "Date?" He scoffed, his voice low and laced with irritation. "You think Pole is my date?"

Nicholas smirked, though his pulse was racing. "What else would he be? I an, you looked pretty cozy with his hand on your lap. Didn’t seem to bother you."

Ezra’s grip on Nicholas’ wrist tightened, his other hand bracing against the wall beside Nicholas’ head. "And you didn’t seem to mind letting your so-called boyfriend rub up against you on the dance floor."

Nicholas rolled his eyes. "Oh, what do you care, Ezra? Stop acting funny."

"Calm -"

"Just get off , Ezra; one ti, you were shoving your tongue down my throat; the next, you have Pole’s hands roaming over you."

Ezra exhaled sharply through his nose, his jaw ticking. "You kissed

back," he accused; his voice husky.

Nicholas shrugged. "Maybe. Maybe not. What’s it to you?"

Ezra’s fingers flexed where he held Nicholas’ wrist, his thumb brushing against his skin...whether by accident or intent, Nicholas couldn’t tell. The touch sent an unwelco thrill down his spine, but he masked it with a scoff.

"You’re a control freak, you know that?" Nicholas taunted, tilting his chin defiantly. "You think you can ignore

when you want, then co running the second you see soone else in my space? Tough luck, Doc."

Ezra let out a low chuckle, dark and amused. "You talk too much, Nicholas."

"Yeah? What are you gonna do about it?" Nicholas shot back, though his breath hitched when Ezra suddenly leaned in, their faces re inches apart.

For a mont, neither of them spoke. The tension in the small space was suffocating, their breaths mingling as they stared each other down. Nicholas’ heart was pounding...partly with irritation, but mostly with sothing else. Sothing dangerous.

Then, just as Ezra’s grip tightened like he might actually close the distance, Nicholas wrenched his wrist free and shoved him back.

"Get the hell out of my way," Nicholas snapped, his voice rougher than he intended.

Ezra smirked. "Make ."

Nicholas clenched his fists. He wanted to punch him. He wanted to kiss him. Hell, he didn’t know what he wanted. But he did know one thing...this wasn’t over.

Not even close.

"I’ll leave on one condition," Ezra’s eyes were locked on Nicholas’ face.

Nicholas was trying his best to control his breathing. Zen’s words were infiltrating his head at that mont, but he pushed them away.

Yes, he wanted to kiss Ezra, but it was because of the alcohol; yes, he had said so suggestive words to him, but it was still the alcohol. Everything that had happened in that restroom was the alcohol, not him.

He needed his control back, Ezra was trying to take advantage of him but he wasn’t going to let him.

"Move out of the way, Ezra, I need to leave," Nicholas ordered.

"To return to your fake boyfriend? No way, Nicholas, you’re speaking to , here, just you and I," Ezra moved again, backing Nicholas against the cold tiles.

"Ezra, what the fuck do you want from ? Don’t make

hate -"

"Shut up," Ezra placed a finger on Nicholas’ lips, leaning his face close to Nicholas’ "You don’t hate ... you kissed

back, and, it didn’t feel like a kiss from an enemy; it felt like a kiss from a lover, a lover who was silently begging his boyfriend to fuck the life out of him. Am I wrong?" His words traveled in low timbrels into Nicholas’ ears.

Nicholas softly sucked in a breath; his insides fluttering like he had a butterfly cage in it, "Why? Why did you kiss ? We’re supposed to be enemies, Ezra, why did you kiss ?" His voice now had a soft tone to it; it seed to be slowly losing its bitterness.

Ezra smirked; this was the first ti Nicholas didn’t try to maintain that he hated him; he moved his mouth beside Nicholas’ "Take a guess, Nicholas, why do think I’d kiss you?" He whispered.

Nicholas slightly shivered when he felt Ezra’s breath on the shell of his ear. "Because you hate , too. You’re trying to irritate

with your stupid reverse psychology," He said, cursing himself for how shaky his voice sounded.

Ezra scoffed, "Then, tell , Nicholas..." his hand went behind Nicholas’s head, tilting it to the side and angling his so his lips aligned with Nicholas’, "Are you irritated right now?" He asked huskily.

Nicholas gulped, "Don’t ss with , Ezra, tell

why you kissed , I... it’s not leaving my mind, I need to know," He replied.

"Because I like you, Nicholas, you don’t have to be so dumb. I like you," Ezra’s fingers slowly massaged Nicholas’ head, his other hand drawing him closer by his waist.

Nicholas was speechless, his skin tingled all over, and Ezra’s hand on his body was setting a low, intense fla within him, "You like ?" He asked slowly.

Ezra’s eyes were darkening intensely, and his breath was hot and shallow, "I do, Nicholas," he confird, pushing Nicholas’ hips against his, sighing in pleasure when his cock pressed against Nicholas’.

"I think you feel the sa way, Nicholas; it never lies," He slowly ground his hips against Nicholas’.

Nicholas’ lips were parted, and his eyes wavered, looking away from Ezra.

Ezra placed his hand on the side of Nicholas’ face and returned his face to look at him, "Say sothing, Nicholas, I just told you how I feel about you, I need to know how you feel, too, say sothing that isn’t about how hard you hate ,"

Nicholas gulped, biting his lips.

Ezra shut his eyes before using his thumb to draw Nicholas’ lower lip out from between his teeth, "Speak, Nicholas, you’re tempting ," He murmured.

Nicholas took a deep breath, "I don’t believe you... you like

but you went ahead to ignore

after kissing , treated

as if I don’t matter, and Pole? You dared to bring him to my club and flirt with him...you don’t like - Mph!"

Ezra’s kiss was heated, hungry, and aggressive. His lips was hard on Nicholas’, possessive, needy.

Nicholas’ head was reeling from the sudden kiss; he realized that his rational senses were shutting down, leaving only his primal sense active because he found himself kissing Ezra back with the sa fervor; he even went ahead to hook one of his legs around Ezra’s hips.

"Fuck, Nicholas, not here... calm down," Ezra placed his forehead against Nicholas’, panting as he stared into his eyes.

Nicholas didn’t speak, he’d just confird that he burned for Ezra more than he’d imagined, but they still had a huge obstacle between them. He placed a hand on Ezra’s chest and slowly pushed him away.

"This isn’t right," Nicholas said, walking toward the door.

Ezra let him unlock the door, quietly following him out of the restroom.

However, before Nicholas could step out of the restroom, Ezra pulled him back by his wrist.

"Stop, Ezra," Nicholas sighed.

Ezra frowned, "Leave

with sothing, at least, Nicholas. You’ve just kissed , and goddammit, it was the best kiss I’ve had, Nicholas. But what? You push

away and tell

it is wrong? Can you tell

exactly what was wrong about our kiss?" He frowned.

"Was it your lips on mine? Your tongue in my mouth or mine in yours? The way our bodies heated up when we touched each other? Tell , Nicholas, I need to know what was wrong with all that," Ezra questioned, his eyes searching Nicholas’ face.

Nicholas sighed, "I don’t know, Ezra; all I know is that I kissed you and that’s it. I don’t have a reason," He replied, quickly turned and left.

Ezra rubbed his temple with his fingers; he didn’t know which one was causing his headache, Nicholas’ stubbornness, or the alcohol.

But Ezra was determined to get Nicholas to own up to his fucking feelings tonight, so he marched out of the restroom with sure, confident strides.

His jealous mind was already thinking of how he was going to walk up to Jay and snatch Nicholas right out of his hands when he surprisingly saw Nicholas walking up those stairs he saw him walking the last ti,

He followed him.

He followed Nicholas up the stairs and through a short hallway; he panicked when he saw Nicholas enter a room and imdiately hurried over to hold the door before it shut. However, he was surprised to find the door slightly opened.

He smirked as he slowly pushed the door open and walked into the room, quietly locking the door as he entered.

Ezra’s eyes imdiately found Nicholas standing beside his bed with his back to him; Nicholas’ hand went underneath his shirt, and he slowly pulled it over his head, throwing it on the chair beside his bed.

Ezra’s quiet footsteps sounded softy on the floor until he stood behind Nicholas; his hands went up Nicholas’ shoulders, tracing them down to his arms, and his breath fanned the back of Nicholas’ neck.

"Doing this, Nicholas, does it an you feel the sa way about ," His lips grazed the side of Nicholas’ neck.

Nicholas turned and faced Ezra.

"Woah!" Ezra chuckled as he found himself pushed down on the bed, he watched as Nicholas climbed on, straddling him.

"I’m taking this as a yes, Nicholas," Ezra said, his hand tracing Nicholas’ collarbone.

Nicholas pushed Ezra’s upper body down on the bed and lowered his face to his, "I still don’t know what I’m doing, Doc," He whispered against Ezra’s lips.

Ezra put his hand behind Nicholas’ neck, "Just follow your instincts, baby, what are they telling you?" His hand went down and grabbed Nicholas’ ass, causing him to moan very softly.

Nicholas’ eyes were half-lidded, "They... they’re asking

to fuck you, Doc," He replied in a breathy voice.

"Good boy," Ezra smirked and went to pull Nicholas down for a kiss, but Nicholas fell on top of him before he could even touch him.

The next thing he heard was a very soft and cute snoring from Nicholas, indicating that he had slept.

"Damn, Nicholas... out of all tis..." He sighed, frustrated...sexually.
