The banquet has already started an hour ago, and the invited guests have all arrived; after all, in such a symbolically prestigious occasion, no one would want to be late or absent.

Yet, there are always one or two exceptions.

Carefully observing the guests’ manners and expressions, you will find that at least a quarter of the guests are intentionally or unintentionally glancing toward the door.

They seem to be waiting for soone to arrive, and unsurprisingly, they are likely waiting for the sa person.

However, the person they are waiting for has yet to appear.

"Why hasn’t he co yet? Surely he isn’t not coming?" A beautifully dressed blonde mixed-race girl stared repeatedly at the door, nearly losing her patience after waiting for almost two hours.

"Quite the grand entrance indeed."

A brown-haired, blue-eyed foreign middle-aged man with a royal air snorted coldly beside her.

Although a foreigner, his Mandarin was remarkably fluent.

The girl did not respond, continuing to stare toward the door.

Finally, a tall and slender black silhouette appeared at the entrance.

Almost the instant that person appeared, the guests collectively looked over, as if agreed upon in advance.

Clearly, this was the person they had been waiting for.

As the guests saw the man, the changes in their expressions and the silent exchanges of glances with those beside them indicated that this was indeed a banquet fraught with danger.

The girl lit up upon seeing the newcor, making the two-hour wait seem worthwhile.

She lifted her skirt, intending to step forward to greet him, but was stopped by the middle-aged man beside her.

"Why are you doing this, Daddy?" The girl complained, a bit unhappy.

"Dear daughter, don’t rush; the more you care for a man, the less he respects you," the middle-aged man said with a smile that felt unpleasant.

After speaking, he looked towards the door at Jun Moyan, sneering.

A daring move to co alone.

No fear of death, incredibly.

Although still wanting to personally greet him, the girl was helpless as her father continued holding her wrist, so she had to give up.

Jun Moyan’s gaze swept across the room, making direct eye contact with two to three dozen people.

Upon eting his gaze, those people sowhat avoided his eyes, pretending to look elsewhere.

Indeed, they were all waiting for him.

Well aware of the dangerous nature of the banquet, Jun Moyan still ca, choosing to confront alone.

After all, so matters can’t be avoided.

Jun Moyan’s gaze finally landed on the middle-aged man and the girl.

Then he stepped forward and walked toward them.
