Gu Yao’s unexpected appearance caught Shangguan Yu off guard.
Aside from surprise and panic, there was jealousy.
Gu Sheng was not the only one who went crazy with jealousy about Gu Yao and Ais’s interaction; Shangguan Yu did too.
However, Shangguan Yu didn’t know that Gu Yao’s sudden appearance was actually arranged by Ais.
Gu Yao stepped forward, her gaze falling on Shangguan Yu’s hand holding the handcuffs.
The handcuffs, one cuff was already on Ais’s hand, the other still grasped by Shangguan Yu.
Her appearance made Shangguan Yu halt his next actions.
Shangguan Yu was so nervous that he didn’t dare to turn his head to look at Gu Yao, who had already co to stand beside him and Ais; he just froze, not knowing what to do.
"Yaoyao." This was Ais calling her.
It was the first ti Ais called her so intimately, making Gu Yao unable to resist glancing at him, but the current situation didn’t allow her to pay him much attention.
It inadvertently pricked Shangguan Yu.
She looked at the handcuff again, then turned to Shangguan Yu: "Why are you arresting him?"

No, he was here to arrest Ais, he ca for Yaoyao’s safety, he couldn’t ss this up, he couldn’t.
Shangguan Yu slowly cald down. He looked up coldly at Gu Yao: "Obstructing official duties, I’ll arrest you too."
Gu Yao looked at Shangguan Yu’s cold eyes, and for a mont she truly thought she loved the wrong person.
The Shangguan Yu she loved was supposed to be sunny, yet had a hero-like sense of duty as high as the sky; how could he be like this?
His unique coldness and ruthlessness when it ca to her hurt her deeply.
If he treated others the sa way, maybe she wouldn’t be so sad, but he really only treated her like this from beginning to end.
Even though Gu Yao tried hard not to appear pathetic before him, she still couldn’t help but blush with emotion.
Gu Yao looked at Shangguan Yu, then stretched her hands out to him.
She couldn’t figure out if she was acting out of spite or if her heart was dead.
Perhaps she wanted to finally determine if she truly loved wrongly.
Would he really arrest her?
"Yaoyao, don’t make trouble, this has nothing to do with you, please go back first." Ais spoke hastily, worried like a concerned boyfriend.
Shangguan Yu looked down at Gu Yao’s hands extended to him, clenching his teeth tightly.
He was trying hard to suppress his emotions.
The atmosphere invisibly tensed up, Gu Yao stared at Shangguan Yu, waiting for his next move.
Shangguan Yu didn’t disappoint her, his "indifference" and "sharpness" indeed were given to Gu Yao.
Shangguan Yu raised his gaze to look at Gu Yao, a contemptuous smile tugging at his lips, his eyes filled with disgust and irony.
"What, just a few days ago you were desperately clinging and entangling yourself with , acting all obsessed, and now you’re cozying up to soone else?"
