Wen Xiao’ai felt that the more she spoke, the more she seed to pick at soone else’s sore spot, leaving her with an unpleasant feeling in her heart. Tentatively, she asked:
"How about I give you a na?"
"Sure." The youth’s eyes lit up with excitent and anticipation.
"Hmm..." After giving it so serious thought, Wen Xiao’ai suggested, "How about I call you Bun?"
"Bun...?"
"Yep." Wen Xiao’ai nodded furiously: "Soft and white, fragrant, super delicious, also very much like you."
As Wen Xiao’ai got to this point, her little tongue couldn’t help but lick her tiny canine tooth, and she even smacked her lips, clearly hankering for one.
"I resemble a bun?"
"...I an you’re as cute as a bun."
"Alright then, I’ll be Bun."
"Hehe, Bun is good~" Wen Xiao’ai smiled, her eyes curved into crescent moons.
She really enjoyed making friends because she liked the lively atmosphere; naturally, more friends ant more liveliness.
"My na is Wen Xiao’ai, and I have another na, Xiao’guai, which was given to by Jun Moyan," Wen Xiao’ai said as she ntioned Jun Moyan, a look of happiness and sweetness across her face.
"Jun Moyan? Is that the human who saved you that day?"
"Saved ? Which day?"
"Just three nights ago in that forest where I ca across you. I didn’t know what was wrong with you at the ti; you seed to be in a lot of pain and then I saw you pass out."
"I don’t know any other people and seeing that you were also a demon, I stayed by your side. I was worried sothing might happen to you since you didn’t wake up, so I lured a passing human to your side and had you sent for treatnt."
"But then you were taken away by a bad person who, who tried to... to take advantage of you..." The youth’s voice faded, his face coloring with embarrassnt and anger, though his current condition didn’t show it on his face.
"Then later, you were rescued by another human. He looked so fierce at that ti that I got a bit scared, and so I, I ran away..."
The youth was embarrassed by this part of the story. However, he had left at the ti because he saw that the human was there to rescue Wen Xiao’ai; if that person had also been bad, no matter how scared he was or if he couldn’t help, he wouldn’t have left.
"So that’s what happened, no wonder I woke up at Jun Wuyang’s place," Wen Xiao’ai said, suddenly understanding.
"Did I, did I do a good deed with a bad outco?"
"Not at all, don’t think like that. You were helping ."
"But if it weren’t for , you wouldn’t have been taken by that bad person."
"I’m fine now, aren’t I? And the bad person is dead."
"..." The youth lowered his head, still feeling guilty.
"By the way, Bun, you ran away then, so how did you find now?"
"I don’t know. It seems like there’s sothing pulling here, and then I just ca and unexpectedly found you here as well," said the youth, his eyes filled with longing and hope as he ntioned that thing.
"What thing?"
"I don’t know."
"It’s okay, if you don’t know, you don’t know. Co over here and sit with , Bun. Let’s sit and talk," Wen Xiao’ai patted the soft big bed.
"Okay."
The youth sat on the bed with a certain reserve.
"Bun, why aren’t you in the Netherworld, why don’t you go and be reborn?"
"I was originally in the Netherworld. Because I only have a wisp of soul, I couldn’t be reborn for the ti being, so I stayed there."
"But recently, there has been sothing wrong with the Netherworld; it’s constantly in turmoil, and accidents keep happening. Many wronged spirits and evil ghosts that couldn’t be reborn took the chance to escape. Due to so accidents a while ago, I too ended up in the Human Realm by mistake."
