Not only that, a faint purple glow surrounding her body was streaked with black qi.
And this black qi didn’t co from elsewhere; it was actually surging from within her body.
Demonic Qi?!
Wen Xiao’ai furrowed her brows, looking down at the black qi continuously seeping out of her, her eyes full of panic and helplessness.
What’s happening? Why is there Demonic Qi inside of her?
And the aura felt sowhat familiar...
Wen Xiao’ai realized.
It was the aura of the Blood Crow’s master!
He must have done it, he must have injected the Demonic Qi into her body when she wasn’t paying attention.
But when had he injected the Demonic Qi, and why hadn’t she noticed?
What was he trying to do by putting Demonic Qi into her body?
Wen Xiao’ai had no ti to think about these questions because she already felt that strand of Demonic Qi heading toward her heart ridian.
If she didn’t force the Demonic Qi out of her body, wouldn’t she fall into demonic possession?!
Thinking this, Wen Xiao’ai imdiately steadied her mind, sat up straight, and closed her eyes again.
She forced the formation in her palm to withdraw, but this attempt made the Demonic Qi spread even faster within her, instantly reaching her extraordinary ridians, causing Wen Xiao’ai to turn pale with pain.
After withdrawing the formation, Wen Xiao’ai began to suppress the Demonic Qi in her body.
However, no matter what thod she used, she couldn’t suppress it; the Demonic Qi was moving unstoppable towards her heart ridian.
The faint purple glow around her was gradually being replaced by black qi.
The entire room darkened as well.
Cold sweat covered Wen Xiao’ai’s forehead densely, her face terribly pale.
She seed to be struggling against sothing, her entire face contorted together, her expression extrely tornted and uncomfortable.
As the purple glow surrounding her was gradually eroded by the black qi, Wen Xiao’ai’s entire aura changed, becoming more and more similar to that of the man.
The purity she had before was gone, turning into chaos.
"Pu..."
A mouthful of fresh blood spurted out, staining the sheets beneath her red.
Wen Xiao’ai opened her eyes, clutching the area around her heart in pain, supporting herself on the bed, her vision blackening intermittently.
The fresh blood flowed from her lips, dripping onto the bed in a steady stream.
Her deep blue eyes, like the ocean, oddly shone with a hint of red.
There was no clarity in the bottom of her eyes that had been there in the past.
Wen Xiao’ai felt the ridians inside her body burning; she even heard the sound of each ridian bursting.
Clutching at her heart, she clenched her hand painfully, her pajamas tightly gripped in her fist.
Wen Xiao’ai clutched the front of her shirt, slowly bent down, and lay prone on the bed.
Her other hand clutched tightly onto the sheets as pain caused her whole body to convulse and tremble.
Compared to the last ti when the teleportation gate malfunctioned, causing all her ridians to break, this pain was even more torturous, utterly unbearable.
Wen Xiao’ai found breathing difficult as she lay on the bed; the unbearable pain spread to every part of her body, causing her to roll around on the bed.
"Ah..."
A painful scream escaped her throat; Wen Xiao’ai rolled incessantly on the bed in agony.
As the ridians inside her body continued to burst, the purple glow disappeared completely, replaced by the black qi.
As the Demonic Qi kept infiltrating, Wen Xiao’ai’s mind gradually lost its way, beginning to lose control...
Screams emanated from her throat, chilling to the bone, touching the tear ducts, causing tears to flow out.
Knocking sounds rose, Xiaocha’s voice ca from outside the door.
"Miss Wen, I made a fruit sago dessert, it’s very tasty, would you like to try so?"
Hearing Xiaocha’s voice, Wen Xiao’ai panicked instantly, her bloodshot, tear-filled eyes suddenly opened, looking towards the direction of the door.
