"Hmm~" Wen Xiao’ai humd softly before finally releasing his ear and lying down on his chest.
Signaling she’d stay in bed a little longer before willing to get up~
"Ti to get up and eat, aren’t you hungry?" Jun Moyan reached out instinctively to touch the small head on his chest.
"Hungry, but don’t want to get up yet," Wen Xiao’ai said with her eyes closed, sowhat enjoying the mont.
She didn’t like being touched by strangers, nor being touched without her permission, but she did enjoy Jun Moyan’s caresses on her head.
"Be good, get up and eat first. If you’re still sleepy after eating, then go back to sleep for a nap."
"Hmph╭(╯^╰)╮"
Wen Xiao’ai made a pouting face and rubbed against him for a while before reluctantly sliding off him and sitting on the bed.
Jun Moyan then rose, pulled the blanket, and wrapped her up completely.
"I’m going to wash up; you wait for a while."
"Oh..." Wen Xiao’ai said while fiddling with the blanket wrapped around her and nodding in response.
Jun Moyan got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash up.
While brushing his teeth, he caught a glimpse of Wen Xiao’ai standing outside the bathroom, hands on the doorfra, curiously watching him with wide open eyes.
Jun Moyan paused, seemingly rembering sothing.
After rinsing his mouth and washing his face, he turned to her and said, "Co here."
Wen Xiao’ai imdiately trotted over, standing in front of him with her hands behind her back and her little head tilted up, smiling at him.
"What’s up?"
Wen Xiao’ai’s smile had a contagious quality to it, genuine and uplifting. Her two little canines were playful and cute, capable of softening even the hardest of hearts.
"...Brushing teeth, you’re now human, and you need to brush your teeth and wash your face."
"Brush... teeth?" Wen Xiao’ai cocked her head, seemingly confused by the term.
Then she suddenly stretched out her hand, two fingers together, and a flash of purple light flickered at her fingertips.
"All done~"
Wen Xiao’ai showed her sparkling white teeth to Jun Moyan: "A Cleaning Technique does the trick."
Jun Moyan cos back to his senses from the purple light that had sparked from her fingertips, looking at her smiling face, feeling sowhat uneasy inside.
"Xiaoguai, this isn’t the Demon Clan. Since you’ve co here, you should live like us humans, when in Ro, do as the Romans do, understand?"
Wen Xiao’ai shook her head: "Don’t know."
"From now on, try not to use any Demon Art unless necessary. Do things yourself. If you don’t want to do it, look for ; I can help you."
He disliked her using those Demon Arts; he wanted her to be like the rest of them.
"That’s not a Demon Art, it’s a Spell," Wen Xiao’ai corrected.
She knew that humans feared and shunned demons.
Terms like ’Demon Art’ and ’demoness’ were insults when coming from their mouths.
If soone else had called it a Demon Art, she would have ignored them if she was in a good mood, or if she was in a bad mood, she would have taught them a harsh lesson.
But she didn’t like it when Jun Moyan said it like that.
"Okay, a Spell, then. Can you try not to use Spells from now on, alright?"
"But... then the Demon Realm will cultivate the Blood Crow, and when others go to the Demon Realm, do they have to learn all that? If going to the Netherworld, do they first have to beco a ghost?"
"No, what I’m talking about is just lifestyle. And... it’s not ’fish-fragrant pork shreds,’ it’s ’when in Ro, do as the Romans do.’
Jun Moyan tapped her little head lightly, smiling sowhat helplessly: "All you think about is eating."
"Lifestyle? Okay then, I’ll live just like you from now on. But..." Wen Xiao’ai glanced at the toothbrush.
"I don’t know how to brush my teeth."
