Seeing the newcor, Bai Tang was sowhat surprised.

Yet he said a lukewarm, half-hearted pleasantry, "Third Young Master Jun, how co you have ti to visit my Holy City without giving a heads-up? I would have liked to extend my hospitality."

"No need, I’m just here to take soone ho."

Bai Tang raised an eyebrow, a touch of surprise and astonishnt in his eyes, "You’re not talking about this little girl, are you?"

"Exactly."

Bai Tang’s eyes narrowed slightly, and his expression turned sowhat sour as he glanced at Wen Xiao’ai, who was turned to the side. Driven by so emotion, he asked, "She... what is she to you?"

"A person I’m raising." Jun Moyan looked at the sulking Wen Xiao’ai, unable to describe the feeling in his heart.

Her angry look was really identical to Xiaoguai’s.

"..." Bai Tang’s hand, which was lightly tapping on the table, suddenly stopped in its tracks.

Hostility slowly began to fill his gaze when he looked at Jun Moyan.

Behind him, Qing Yi and Bai Yi heard Jun Moyan’s words, their eyes widened in disbelief as they stared at Jun Moyan’s retreating figure.

The two exchanged glances.

Bai Yi: What’s the situation?

Qing Yi shrugged: How would I know?

The crowd of onlookers grew, each one sizing up Jun Moyan.

The Third Young Master of the Capital City?

A legendary figure, they never expected to have the chance to see him in person here.

Indeed, his reputation was well-deserved.

"Heh..." Bai Tang let out a cold laugh, "A person you’re raising?"

Jun Moyan glanced at Bai Tang then ignored him, instead turning to face Wen Xiao’ai, who had her back to him, and tried to speak in a calm tone:

"I’m here to take you ho."

To his own surprise, after confirming she was Xiaoguai, the words ’take you ho’ ca out so naturally.

"..."

Seeing that Wen Xiao’ai had no response, Bai Tang laughed, feeling a bit of dark joy and pride:

"It seems she doesn’t want to go ho with you, and she’s already lost herself to in a bet, so she’s my person now. You won’t need to provide for her anymore—I’ll take over that role."

Hearing Bai Tang’s words, Wen Xiao’ai was about to protest, but rembering how Jun Moyan had sent her away and how she had spent the day in fear and was still hungry, she was furious and chose to remain silent.

Jun Moyan’s expression darkened, and hostility arose in his eyes as he looked at Bai Tang.

"The person I’m raising is not up to her to stay or leave."

"Heh..." Bai Tang smiled again, "She is mine now, whether she wants to or not, that’s up to to decide."

The phrase "mine now" struck Jun Moyan with a nauseating distaste.

It was as if soone was trying to take sothing of his by force, no, not as if—it was his!

A fire surged in Jun Moyan’s chest, and his chilly eyes stared down Bai Tang in warning, his voice cold, "Watch your mouth!"

"I didn’t say anything out of line, everyone here can testify," Bai Tang spread his hands wide.

Jun Moyan didn’t want to argue further with him, he turned to Wen Xiao’ai, his tone sowhat forceful:

"Co ho with ."

Wen Xiao’ai turned around, glared at him fiercely, and then ran to hide behind Bai Tang.

"I don’t even know you, why would I go ho with you?"

"Are your ears itching for trouble again?" Jun Moyan glared at her, seeing her hiding behind Bai Tang only fueled his anger.

"You stinky Jun Moyan, all you do is threaten . You were the one who didn’t trust and kicked out, so why are you looking for now?"

Wen Xiao’ai was furious.

"I have money now, I can provide for myself, and there are people fighting to take care of . Go back to your Wu Garden; you go take care of soone else."

After uttering the last sentence about Jun Moyan taking care of soone else, Wen Xiao’ai instantly regretted it.

He wouldn’t really start raising another cat, would he?
