Wen Xiao’ai, covering her little ears, stood obediently in the corner, occasionally sneaking a look back at Jun Moyan, who was tidying up his desk.

Seeing him throwing those draft drawings into the trash bin, Wen Xiao’ai felt full of remorse and wished she could throw away her own baby bottle.

While Jun Moyan was sketching those drafts, she had always been by his side, so she knew very well that these were things he had painstakingly drawn, stroke by stroke, over several days.

In the future, I’ll be more obedient, she thought. Next ti Jun Moyan makes a mistake, I’ll let him stand in the corner for a few minutes less...

Thinking this way made Wen Xiao’ai feel much better.

Jun Moyan finished tidying his desk and took out a new sheet of drawing paper, preparing to redo the firearm design drawings that had just been destroyed.

He had all those things in his mind, and having drawn them once, it was only a matter of a few hours to recreate them exactly as they were.

Glancing up at the little milk cat standing in the corner and slling the sowhat strong scent of milk in the air, Jun Moyan’s lips curved into a shallow smile, thinking to himself that it seed his discipline was quite effective, and her self-awareness was getting better.

Jun Moyan returned his attention to his work.

Suddenly, a sharp pain struck his chest, so sudden and fierce that it was impossible to defend against.

The hand holding the pen instinctively tightened, ripping the paper with the nib, as if millions of silver needles were viciously piercing his heart.

The pain exceeded his endurance threshold, shooting straight to his brain and spreading to his limbs. Jun Moyan’s complexion turned deathly pale in an instant, and he began to sweat profusely.

The pen dropped powerlessly from his hand onto the desk. He clutched his chest, biting down hard on his teeth, his eyebrows knitting together tightly, his hand gripping his chest where his clothing was now bunched up.

The veins on his forehead throbbed visibly under his skin, looking rather frightening.

Wen Xiao’ai, who had been facing the wall, couldn’t help but steal another look at Jun Moyan, and this ti she was startled.

"ow."

She imdiately ran from the corner, circled around the desk, and jumped onto his lap from the small stool beside his feet.

Looking at Jun Moyan clutching his chest, fist clenched, with a frighteningly pale face, seemingly enduring so great pain, she felt sowhat scared.

"ow ow ow."

She called out to him urgently, jumping around on his legs.

Jun Moyan, what’s wrong with you?

However, with his head hanging down, Jun Moyan was in so much pain he couldn’t utter a word or respond to Wen Xiao’ai.

"Ah..."

A chilling scream echoed from his throat and his vision went dark. Jun Moyan slumped over the desk, motionless.

"ow ow ow."

Seeing Jun Moyan faint, Wen Xiao’ai grew frantic.

She quickly jumped onto the desk and leaned close to Jun Moyan’s face, pushing hard against the arm he was resting his head on with her tiny paw.

"ow ow ow."

Jun Moyan, what on earth is wrong with you?

When he didn’t respond, Wen Xiao’ai slapped his face with her paw.

But he still did not react.

Wen Xiao’ai panicked.

Jun Moyan, you can’t die. I won’t be mad at you anymore. I won’t eat snacks on my own again. I won’t hide lollipops anymore. I will be a good girl. Please wake up, don’t scare .

Wen Xiao’ai thought she had angered Jun Moyan to death, and she was so frightened that tears fell.

Unable to wake him, she turned and jumped down from the desk, running out of the study to find soone to help.
