Shangguan Yu carried the little guy over, and a group of soldiers gathered around, staring curiously at the little one on his shoulder.
"General, where did you get him?"
"This kid is so beautiful. I’ve never seen such a handso child in my life."
"Neither have I. Look at this skin, so fair and tender, makes us look like we were raised in the wild compared to being raised at ho."
After years of secluded hard training here, with the blue sky and white clouds above and yellow dust and sweat below, they usually see nothing but these brothers around.
In such an environnt, suddenly seeing this fair and tender little guy, each tough man turned into a tender-hearted father, couldn’t help but touch the little guy, pinching little feet, holding little hands, stroking little cheeks, they were all so fond of him.
"Shoo, don’t touch, your hands are all sweaty, you just did push-ups. Don’t get my son dirty." Shangguan Yu lifted a foot to kick the feet of a few who were standing too close.
"Whose? Son?"
Everyone widened their eyes and looked at each other.
"Who’s fooling who here, we can all see whose son it is, they look exactly the sa." Soone pointed at the little guy and Jun Moyan standing beside him.
"You’ve got sharp eyes." Shangguan Yu said with a smile.
"It’s so obvious. Except for the eyes, everything else looks like they were carved from the sa radish."
"I keep telling you all to read more books, what radish, more like a big potato." Shangguan Yu scolded.
"Hehe." That person chuckled, looking at the little guy riding on Shangguan Yu’s neck, couldn’t help but reach out and with a big smile said, "Uh, General, let hold him for a bit."
"What holding, you’re all sweaty, don’t want to stink up the kid."
"No way, won’t stink him up." That person quickly wiped his hands on his clothes to clean them a bit.
"Really want to hold him?" Shangguan Yu asked.
"Yeah, I do." The person said earnestly.
"Don’t ask , ask his dad, even if his dad agrees, I guess the kid might not." Shangguan Yu said.
Hearing this, that person looked at Jun Moyan.
"Can I hold him?" he asked with anticipation, nervously.
Then he glanced at the little guy, unsure if the little guy would be willing.
Jun Moyan didn’t respond, but looked at the little one.
It seed like the little guy had to nod himself for it to happen.
"I’ll hold you gently." The person reached out his hands to the little guy, coaxing him with a smile.
Everyone watched, full of anticipation.
Under everyone’s eager eyes, the little guy didn’t disappoint. He withdrew his little hand from Shangguan Yu’s hand and reached out to that person.
Seeing the little guy agree, everyone cheered, as if they had already managed to hold him, thrilled and happy.
Especially that person, feeling like he’d won the lottery, suppressed his excitent and gently took the little guy into his arms.
Shangguan Yu was quite surprised that the little guy was willing.
That person was so happy holding the little guy he couldn’t even speak, his movents were a bit stiff.
After a while, the person laughed and said, "This kid slls nice and feels so soft."
"Let hold him too."
" too, I want to hold him first."
Everyone was scrambling to hold the little guy, and the little guy let them hold him one by one.
He didn’t really like strangers and was a bit shy, but he quite liked them and wasn’t afraid of them. Maybe because they wore the sa clothes as Shangguan Yu, or maybe a child can sense the purity of their smiles.
Jun Moyan didn’t stop them, letting them hold him, after all, he’s a boy, no need to be overly delicate.
