"Is it for growing taller?" The little one seed to understand a bit.

"Will I grow as tall as Daddy?"

"Hmm... You will in the future," Jun Moyan replied, bringing a small cup of prepared dicine to the little one’s lips.

"Co, An’an, drink the dicine, and then we’ll sleep."

As the little one was about to drink the dicine, he quickly asked, "Daddy, will you sleep here with An’an tonight?"

His eyes were full of anticipation. Although he couldn’t help but be a little nervous, he mostly wanted to be close to Jun Moyan.

"Yes, Daddy will sleep with An’an for the next few days, okay?"

"Okay." The little one nodded joyfully.

"Here, drink the dicine."

The little one leaned forward to the cup, and his small hands wrapped around Jun Moyan’s hand holding the cup, helping to hold it together.

The bitter taste of the dicine made him hesitate for a few seconds, causing his little eyebrows to furrow.

"Is it very bitter?" Jun Moyan asked.

The little one shook his head, then exerted his small hands, lifting the cup and gulping down the dicine in a few big sips.

The little one drank with a face full of discomfort, his small face scrunched up.

Jun Moyan picked up a glass of water to pour water for the little one. As he was pouring, he suddenly heard the little one retch. He quickly poured so water and brought it back for the little one to drink. After swishing the warm water around in his mouth to wash away the bitterness, the little one felt much better.

"Is it still bitter? Should Daddy get you so candy?"

The little one shook his head, "Not bitter anymore."

"Then it’s ti for bed." Jun Moyan put down the water glass, picked up the little one, laid him in bed, and tucked him in.

"An’an, go to sleep first. Daddy will take a bath."

"Okay," the little one obediently agreed.

Jun Moyan stood up straight, intending to go back to his room to get clothes, but the little one thought he was leaving, so he imdiately sat up.

"Daddy is just going to get clothes," Jun Moyan said.

The little one lay back down again.

Jun Moyan hurried to get his clothes, then returned, and went into the bathroom to take a shower.

The little one lay in bed, watching the ceiling, playing with his little hands, his big eyes full of happiness.

Hearing the bathroom door open, the little one reflexively closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep, his little hands also stopping.

Jun Moyan looked at the little one, knowing he wasn’t asleep.

After checking the door and windows, he turned off the light and lay down on the bed.

The room fell into darkness, and the little one opened his eyes, sneakily glancing at Jun Moyan beside him.

"It’s ti to sleep," Jun Moyan lay on his side, facing the little one.

The little one also turned toward Jun Moyan, closed his eyes without making a sound, and said to himself, "Goodnight, Daddy."

Jun Moyan gently patted the little one’s back, as if to lull him to sleep.

Before long, the little one drifted off to sleep.

Jun Moyan didn’t sleep, nor did he dare to; he withdrew his hand from patting the little one’s back and quietly watched him.

As the seconds and minutes ticked by, the night grew deep.

Jun Moyan sneakily looked at the ti and found that it was half an hour before the ti the little one started sleepwalking the previous night.

Mu Han said that sleepwalking usually has a fixed ti, and unless there’s a special circumstance, the sleepwalker will wake up at the sa ti and do the sa thing.

Jun Moyan kept his eyes on the little one, watching the ti. The closer it got, the more nervous he beca.

He hoped the dicine would work and that not going to kindergarten today, spending the day with him, might provide so comfort to his psyche.

But contrary to his hopes, as soon as the ti ca, the little one, who had been sleeping soundly, suddenly sat up.

Jun Moyan didn’t dare make a sound or move recklessly, just watching as he got up, turned on the light, then got out of bed to put on his shoes, heading toward the door.
