Jun Moyan, who had only held the baby for a few days himself, was really reluctant to let anyone else hold him.
After holding him for a little while longer, Jun Moyan finally stood up with the little one in his arms.
Shangguan Yu had been eagerly waiting, his hands already mimicking the gesture of holding a baby, just like Jun Moyan.
"Be careful, move gently, don’t hurt him."
Jun Moyan said while bending over, carefully handing over the little guy, who felt as soft as tofu, into Shangguan Yu’s arms, bit by bit.
"Don’t worry, I’m not that clumsy."
Shangguan Yu replied, instinctively lowering his voice, even his breathing beca gentler.
Successfully transferring the little one into Shangguan Yu’s arms, Jun Moyan watched the baby intently, his empty hands reluctant to withdraw.
Shangguan Yu, on the other hand, was all smiles, gently holding the fragrant and soft little one in his arms, his heart lting.
"Little An’an?" Shangguan Yu smiled as he softly called him.
The little one stared at Shangguan Yu without blinking, his serious look seeming to confirm sothing. After more than ten seconds, realizing the person was not the sa, he opened his mouth wide and started crying loudly.
The joyful Shangguan Yu from a second ago was instantly startled, the little one in his arms waving his little hands and feet chaotically, making Shangguan Yu nervously ask Jun Moyan, "What happened to him, why is he crying?"
Having kept his hands ready all along, Jun Moyan imdiately took the crying baby back into his own arms.
"An’an, don’t cry, don’t cry, it’s Daddy."
Jun Moyan lifted the little one up and sat back down on the sofa.
Shangguan Yu, at a loss, could only follow along to comfort, "An’an, don’t cry, I... I won’t hold you anymore."
The little one quieted down after just a couple of seconds after returning to the familiar embrace or hearing that Shangguan Yu wouldn’t hold him anymore, lying on Jun Moyan’s shoulder with a pouted mouth, whimpering in grievance.
Seeing the little one stop crying imdiately, Shangguan Yu was dumbfounded.
"I told you, he only wants to hold him." Jun Moyan couldn’t help but rub it in, feeling sowhat proud inside.
Upon giving the little one to Shangguan Yu and seeing that the usually clingy little one didn’t cry or fuss, Jun Moyan was sowhat jealous.
But he hadn’t expected the little one to imdiately realize it was the wrong person and then burst into tears, which made Jun Moyan happy again.
"Why is this? It was one thing when Xiaoguai wouldn’t let hold him, but now even An’an doesn’t want to. Why does everyone dislike ? Am I only destined to bond with military dogs in this life?"
"Xiaoguai really didn’t like you, but whether An’an dislikes you, I don’t know." Jun Moyan seed eager to twist the knife deeper.
Shangguan Yu was greatly distressed.
The little one whined in grievance while lying on Jun Moyan’s shoulder, his little face covered in tears.
Jun Moyan held him gently, patting his back with care.
Shangguan Yu couldn’t help but lean in to take a look at the little one, only for the little one to glance at him and then spit out a mass of white goo from his mouth.
"Why is he spitting up now?!"
Shangguan Yu almost jumped out of the sofa, almost unable to handle this frustration.
Did he really look so bad to wheat that a single glance caused him to puke?
Shangguan Yu began to doubt his eyes; could it be his aesthetic sense was off, leading him to misunderstand his own appearance?
Jun Moyan first felt a warmth on his shoulder, and upon hearing Shangguan Yu say the little one spit up, imdiately placed the little one down, cradling him horizontally in his arms, and skillfully used a tissue to wipe him clean.
